It is incredible that a movie that is over 40 years old can be remastered like this. The audio and visual quality are impressive compared to the originals.

Great movie for all ages after more than forty years

This movie looks great in full 4K with HDR, and the included Dolby Vision streaming code also looks amazing. Truly a great way to enjoy this movie or show it off to family and friends.

The best Star Wars has ever looked. Video/audio quality is top notch. You do need to raise the volume level somewhat but other than that, excellent mix. Recommended.

This is the classic that started them all, and its well worth getting the 4K with HDR. Its the best the movie has ever looked. Now if we can just get the original uncut version.

The HD Quality of the movie is just excellent - Audio is also improved from previous versions of the film, for an avid Star Wars Fan it is a must have to your entire collection.

The trench run and pretty much the whole movie looks better to me in 4K/HDR when I thought it just looked pretty good in HD. It got better!

This review isn't for the movie. Or the quality of the transfer. Because both of those are amazing. The sound quality is amazing. The problem, is how these discs are packaged. They are stacked on top of other discs and that can lead to tiny scratches in the 4K disc. And, in my experience, those scratches cause skipping on the disc. I purchased three discs. All had the scratches. And I wish this was just limited to A New Hope, but I had the same problem with Empire Strikes Back, too. Not to mention that the 4K cases are incredibly brittle. They break super easy and many are broken on the store shelf. Just a horrible packaging decision. Finding an unscratched disc is a miracle.

The best quality version looking of star wars new hope 4k HDR. If you have a newer nice 4k HDR tv this will shine on your tv a step up better than the disney online versions

It'll always be a classic. Like the others, it looks and sounds the best it can. However, love it or hate it, this is the ultimate tinker-George edition and the original edit is all but lost to time. Still worth watching and enjoying though and with Obi-Wan around the corner a good back story item as well.

This is one of my favorites since I was a kid. I’ve seen it on VHS, DVD, Blu-ray and now 4K. I totally recommend it. Only complaint is having Greedo shoot and miss at close range. He never shot in any cut before the 20th Anniversary Special Edition. Han should be the only one shooting at the table. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Best movie ever made and the 4K is amazing!! Just know that that they added to the title "A New Hope" and it will be easier to search/find.

Star Wars in 4K, all time great movie that started the franchise. Great action and epic storytelling, this movie has it all. The 4K picture is very good with great sound

The movie and 4K are great. However try to get these when they first come out because many of the re issues don't have the slip cover on them the second time around.

The film that started it all. Without this film, we wouldn't have the Star Wars films we have today. This film inspired a generation of children. Looks great in 4K.
