Need to buy additional content and not as fun as original

No missions just walking around surviving. Luckily able to exchange for something else.

Would have loved online play mode this game did not live up to the hype.

You can enjoy with the graphics for a while but is has not a good story

I played the BETA for this game and had high hopes. After playing the BETA I realized that this game was much more than I had expected. It was a fantastic experience in the aspect of multiplayer but I had hoped for more action in a campaign type mode. There are missions you can do that take the place of a traditional campaign and these are pretty fun as well. The best part about this game is hands down the graphics. I have played a number of FPS games and this one takes the cake for visual appeal. I have read a few of these reviews already and some are nothing more than a complaint about spending $10.00 more for emotes and a few guns. The people who buy the bonus/deluxe editions of any game do so because they want the full experience in terms of bonus items and what not. Those who just want to get in on the action and play the game don't usually spend the extra cash on the Deluxe editions. It's that simple. So if you like having the extra fluff with the game then $10.00 is well worth it. My gripes for this game and edition are fairly small. I wish they offered more with the Ultimate edition. It is literally just adding the season pass with no discount. Thus I am going to purchase the full Deluxe edition and I will buy the season pass later if it turns out to be compelling enough. ....I'll probably buy the season poss later on.

Great look, sound and feel. I sware it feels like I'm in the action of the movie. Lots of game modes which can be played single player or with friends. A single player campaign would make this a better game along with more customizability for your character. I hope the expansions will improve on this.

The lack of single player story mode is a big letdown for me. It feels like a paper-thin experience: more like a mobile game than a $60 value.

So I purchased this game with high epectations , unfortunately it was a big let down. The Good- The games graphics and designs are amazing! Great controlls and its STARWARS whats not to love. The Bad- So i totally feel this game was rushed to meet dead lines. Why I say this is the clear lack of maps ,weapons and armor choices. The campaign mode is next to nothing with almost no story line to speak of. The multiplayer mode is possibly my least favorite portion of the game and supposed to be the main reason for this game. There are only 4 maps on multiplayer and they get boring pretty fast. The worst part of this game is the way the multiplayer mode is set up , I cant seem to find a methodology to how the programmers decided what a killing shot is, sometime a head shot kills other times it does not and some times several shots to the chest constitutes a killing blow and other times it doesnt. This too me was poorly exicuted and greatly aggravating , this day and age this should never be an issue in a game. Now all of the issues I have with the game can be resolved with patches and or expansions but at 70 bucks for the deluxe edition there shouldnt be issues like this.

But my son loved it! All he do is play it! Guess I'm getting old! Lol

Star Wars Battlefront Beta just ended today. If you didn't play it you might not know, but it is the best looking game out there coming to any game device, and the play is fun, and the full product will be nothing short of even better than the BETA. Graphics and gameplay are superb, the most fun I've had all year on my PS4. I can't wait for November 17th! Take this much into account: I am not a Star Wars snob of any kind. I like it O.K. just as much as any other Sci-Fi. This game is my most anticipated of this year and next.

Ok, first of all, the Deluxe Edition is a total waste of money. You get the Battle of Jakku DLC one week early. Everyone else still gets it too. Also you get 3 items that you can unlock later anyway, and two simple emoticons that really aren't worth an extra $10. THERE IS NO CAMPAIGN - it is entirely like Halo where I mean you just roam around and shoot enemies. You can collect a few things, and drive vehicles, but without a campaign - it is a waste of money IMO. Great sound just like the movies, awesome graphics, on toppled on a bland game. I sold it the next day to get as much money as I could. You will find this game on sale in 6 weeks for $25, it's that boring.

I pre-ordered this, before the beta even. That will be the last time I ever do that on a game that is not a sports game where I can basically guess the content and play. What had been released about it did not prepare me for the complete let-down I had when I finally played it, so I offer a warning to those who haven't. Make sure you know what you're buying. There is no story, and therefore, no campaigns. All the missions are basically competitions a la every other video game out there that has multi-player competitions. The content is so lacking that it reminds me of a better-graphics-version of GoldenEye, but of course, without the campaigns. It's an utter disappointment. I'm not even sure it's worth a sale price, unless you like those competition games. No customization, weapons are weak, and AI has clear advantage on all the missions. I will say that the graphics are for the most part 4 or 5-star.

This game was fun at first but got repetitive. Playing walker assault after a couple hours gets boring. The lack of maps for walker assault is tedious. There are playing of game modes but again becomes very boring. The missions might as well not exist because after completing them theres no point in playing them again because it becomes boring. There is no offline walker assault or any other games modes. A disappointment of a game. The sounds in the game are outstanding and the graphics as well which is why i gave it 3 stars. But great graphics dont make a great game.

it isn't the biggest game or the best but it is a very fine made game and in the long run thats where i believe where it counts. shows someone had a plan to making a very well looking and sounding game just a few flaws that could've saved it.

The game is great. Amazing graphics, easy to Learn. The multiplayer aspect will seem difficult at first due to everything being locked and in game currency is needed to unlock but it is easy to get currency.

As a fan of the previous Star Wars Battlefronts, I was incredibly excited to play the new one. It did not disappoint. I love the large variety of new weapons and maps. It's definitely more fun to play online, but one downside of the game is that I can't seem to find a way to play split-screen online. I wanted to play with my brother on the same screen, but there seems to be no option to play together online. Unless, I just don't know how to set it up on my PS4. Other than that, the gameplay is great and the graphics are amazing!

This is battlefield in star wars form! Great game, multiplayer only. It is a blast to play. Definitely feels like you're part of the star wars universe. A must buy if you're a star wars fan.

Battlefront is a really fun game, and it's good to see its return on the next Gen consoles/pc. On the surface people say it's like battlefield with a star wars skin because it has vehicles, etc. But this is far from the truth. It is its own game with lots of different modes to play. It's the return of battlefront and you can ride speeder bikes, take down at-at's with snowspeeders, use a jump pack, fly the melinium falcon, and be a hero or villain. And a lot more.
