Easy to pick up and play but hard to put it down! so much to do with different modes and tons of players online. BUY IT

7 out of 10 stars If you are looking for non-stop frenetic action, while hopelessly fighting against a horde of on-line teenage gaming professionals, then you'll love this game. If you prefer to play a game at your own pace, and enjoy a decent campaign story, then you should pass on Star Wars Battlefront. I was very disappointed that there is no campaign mode. You can do "training" missions, and fight a few un-statisfying battles in single player, but there is no story mode. I bought the game to play a single player campaign story, not to be repeatedly pummelled by 15-year-olds in the on-line arena. Shame on me for not checking in to it first. The game looks great and plays fine, but this isn't what I was looking for. I may play it occasionally just to get my money's worth, but I already have my sights set on the next Uncharted game. Pretty sure they didn't screw that one up.

I still have battlefront 1 and battlefront 2 on PS2. Since I have a 2006 original 60GB PS3 I still play them. The graphics in the preview are flawless. Online gaming gonna be epic. I wish they included the clone war era. Clones were always my favorite faction. I can't wait to see what dice has to offer. 10 years in the making.

graphics and sound are amazing huge levels amazing use of color and textures. game play is pretty pedestrian though it is only just fun to play. I have played many games with out incredible graphics of this game that were far more enjoyable. not the greatest game out there but is 5stars for graphics.

It is a beautiful game. There is no denying that. But would it have been so hard to throw a campaign in there? I'm sure the multi-player freaks will love it, but I just don't dig it.

Must have for any star wars fan. Looks and sounds wonderful. Fun to play.

Anyone who is a fan of Star Wars, will love this game. The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is fairly easy. The only negative is that they need to expand some of the games modes. Supposedly they are doing that with DLC. Either way, this game is a ton of fun.

I have played the game for about 12 hours so far. The game is basically spawn, get blown up, spawn, repeat. It is very shallow with the missions not really missions. The missions are simply just another venue for spawn, get blown up, respawn, repeat. There are no real mission objectives other than shoot more opponents than get shot. Also, there is way too much dependence on grenade type devices. I have to admit the graphics are really nice, however. I am making my comments from the perspective in that it is very expensive for what you get. Overall, too expensive for a simple, repetitive game.

This game is awesome from the graphics to the game play.

The game looks absolutely amazing and gives you a real sense of the Star Wars Universe. Yes the gameplay is a bit shallow and the customization is laughable, but that just leaves room for expansions, the way they were meant to be experienced.

Great game to just pick up and play for a commitment free shooter. Definitely not as time consuming as other shooters like Destiny. Satisfies the craving to shoot something without feeling like i need to rush home to play this every day.

This game has a lot of potential and is a wonderful take on the Star Wars universe. However, if you are looking for an immersive single player adventure then you should probably look somewhere else. This game has some very simplistic easy to pick up and play multiplayer that can provide hours of fun. There was a missed opportunity with the single player with survival mode being one of the only options. It is not like the original Battlefront games and that's okay. Too often people want to compare squeals to the new version. This game was not made by Lucas Arts and has no reason to be the same as the original. Yes it would have been cool to play conquest on the latest console generation, but that's not what we got. This game is a unique multiplayer experience that I'm sure will be built upon in the years to come.

Believe me, this is a fun game and as a Star Wars fan this game is quite enjoyable. The downside is there is no story whatsoever and no basic campaign mode. There is multiplayer and missions which replay similar battles at the familiar locations from the films. I'm not a huge multiplayer, so this game seems to have been a little bit of a disappointment to me, however it is quite fun and good to play after a long day at the office. I purchased the Deluxe Edition for $10 more and I really don't think it was worth it at all. There is still the season pass to purchase for $49.99, and I think I may pass on that. Recommended for a quick, sort and easy fun time. However not a good game to replay or get really attached to due to the lack of any sort of story or campaign mode.

Good game but if your wanting a story line or a campaign mode forget about it. The multiplayer is fun , the planets environments are beautiful. besides the multiplayer maps there are missions which are on the same maps but you can do it solo or split screen with a friend. they get boring quick though. there is a survival type play that has 15 rounds . and that's pretty much the whole game. I felt a bit disappointed. I feel that this game is made for the fans and not really for the game players. maybe they will patch it later and get a campaign...???

Even my husband enjoys playing. Not sure what additional feature we received by going with the "deluxe edition" version besides paying an extra $10, but everyone likes the graphics.

Awful truly, I didn't try to compare it at all to a battlefield or battlefront game. Butttt this is a neutered version of both, not in term of content that other mentions (yes it's lacking alot of content and dont listen to people say you have to appreciate what it does have, are you going to appreciate living off a dollar for life?) lacking in gameplay completely, the maps were designed to give an optical illusion of being huge...99% of the map isn't accessible while you are put in a linear path for majority of game modes. Camping is a huge thing in this game, worse than i seen in a call of duty or battlefield which says a lot. Vehicle balance is still dreadful, speed boost for imperial and god shield for rebels, you can go on crazy kill-streaks with the fighters just because the lack of antiair which ruins balancing awfully. COOP requires a friend no matchmaking allowed,lack of weapons, gamemodes are plenty but either camping or just tight linear ranged camping map which this game is focusing on. Don't expect a battlefront or battlefield experience

I can't say enough about how beautiful and fun this game is. NOW I know why it is time to move on from PS3 and get a PS4. If you love Star Wars - get this! My 12yr old son and I have had a BLAST with it.

EA and Dice didn't give you the entire game. The DLC season pass will give you 16 maps for $50 more on top of the price of the game. The game is fun and graphics are amazing. But this game will cost you $110.00 to get the full potential. I would wait till the game goes to 34.99 on sale then pick it up. Not worth 69.99 for deluxe.

Beautiful graphics, amazing sounds! Only 4 maps and enough content for a mobile app. Probably worth $10. If you like COD and star wars this is the game for you!

If you have been waiting on this game since Star Wars Battlefront II, you will not be disappointed. Gameplay and graphics are terrific. The decade long wait was worth it!
