I love the game play and it nails the feel of the Star Wars universe, However the idea of a $50 season pass is nuts. It's a fun game but It's tough justifying the $110 they expect us to shell out for the full experience.

The deluxe edition is well worth it to get the extra weapons. They're all the best weapons you can use. Han's blaster is 1-2 shot kill weapon..awesome. Animation wasn't quite as fluid as I had hoped but in an animation snob do take that with a grain of salt. The coolest looking world is definitely Endor. If you're a SW fan..it's hard not to love this game!

My brother was SO excited for this game. We got it as soon as it came out and its been both fun and frustrating for him. It's pretty much all online, and the online experience can greatly vary. There's been more than a few times he's just gotten horribly annoyed with the people hes been thrown into matches with (usually his teammates who seem to just do whatever) but that's one of the risks with multiplayer games. He was hoping for more depth with the gameplay though, and was left a bit disappointed.

I'm new to being a Star Wars fan. But I'm an old guy and this game is based off of the original 3 movies which hits anyone in the nostalgia. I just wish the game wasn't mainly online multiplayer.

Star Wars Battlefront is by far and away, the most nostalgia-inducing, eye-watering, easy-to-pick-up game Ive played in years. I understand where all the hate comes from, I really do. Lack of single player campaign, not enough maps, etc. However, this is an homage to Star Wars Battlefront (original) and while yes, it is a shooter, its much more than that IMO. If you expect COD eque gameplay I suggest you play COD. If youre looking for a gorgeous looking game that pays tribute to Star Wars, definitely pick it up. I certainly didnt regret it!

Stars Wars is really amazing. However, the lack of a single-player campaign in this game has caused me to pick other games to play over this one.

i love the fact that you can seamlessly switch between third person and first person in this game. a lot of different stuff to do for a game that's new.

The game is fun. Solo play is very limited to replaying the same boards I think 8-10 of them and trying to get better and on a harder level. Gets monotonous quickly. The part that was great is the split screen co-op on one player my son loves and just playing with him and watching his back got it another star. Now... Online play is great. I got it during the free weekend (didn't know it was) and I just hooked up logged in to the PSN and off we went and played Come Monday when we went to play, it's asking me for money to play? If you are going to make a game that is so online driven make that known or give a code for access. If it wasn't for my son I would box up the PS4 and this game return the system and trade the dumb game for a Wii U game for him. If you like playing by yourself and want to toss $64 and come change to the side for a week or so cool it's for you. If you already have PSN well no issue... They should have either made a campaign mode / sold the game for 40 since it's 1/2 a game or gave a discount on PSN IMO. Personally I would wait for the bargain bin. it will be there in a few short months... It's already $20 less some places.
