This game looks great, and the sound makes you feel like you're leading an assault on Endor, but with multiplayer only gameplay, and repetitive maps, there's much to be desired...

I bought this game after reading the reviews of people enjoying it with there kids and also due to the fact that it was on sale. There is no campaign or story mode. The game play is repetitive and feels cheaply designed and highly limited. I do not recommend this game to those without young children. It feels incomplete.

I have a bad feeling about this

I remember attending the panel for Star Wars Battlefront at Celebration Anaheim earlier this year and following the debut of gameplay at E3, I was excited for this game and I bought my Xbox One for this. I participated in the beta and had fun with it, however I should have following my feelings and I had the sense that there was flaws in the game. I preordered the game last September and I played it for an hour yesterday after getting it in the mail. I tried not to let the reviews get to me but unfortunately they seemed to reflect the game well. Controls are fun and easy to use. I enjoyed the controls for the X-Wings and the intensity of flying in dogfights. The ground battles are fun too. It's easy for me to use the controls and the guns feel like something I expect in Star Wars. I only played the single player so far and I have a feeling that it may reflect what to expect in multiplayer. I knew there was a lack of content when the game was near release, but when I played it I was shocked at how much depth this game lacked. In the single player modes, there's no replay value. Once you complete all the stars in each mode and map, you're done. I really wish that DICE added more content in the game. If they wanted to tie-in with The Force Awakens, they should have added campaigns that detail the Galactic Civil War as it leads up to the new film. In addition, they should have added more to single player so those who can't afford Gold membership (like me) could find replay value in this game. I plan to give this game a few more days so I can try out the multiplayer. I hope that the multiplayer makes it feel more exciting and replayable. If so, I'll keep my copy and hopefully the DLC and expansions will make it better. If not, I'm going to sell my copy (including all the codes for the in-game items and Jakku preorder code)

    Fantastic Game! Very addicting

Absolutely love this game. There are so many game modes that keep you entertained. I would only get this game if you love multiplayer because it is definitely multiplayer focused. But the graphics are absolutely stunning and there are so many collectables and unlocks that keep you wanting to play more. The deluxe addition is definitely worth the extra money because you unlock a blaster that is extremely powerful and many more. If you are a fan of starwars or just all out war mayhem, battlefront is a perfect fit!

A Battelfield game with it's own Star Wars twist

As most people in this planet I looked forward to this Battlefront, although after playing the Beta and reading articles and statements released by EA and DICE I am extremely disappointed with overall quality and expectation. Having played the classic Battlefront and Battlefront 2 I was expecting the same but with better graphics and new gameplay. Graphics did not disappoint! - $59.99 and no Storymode??? - No secondary weapon like the pistols found on previous Battlefront's - One cannot simply hop in hop out of a vehicle, one needs luck to find a power up throughout the map. Chances are your teameates got there before you did. - no diving or rolling out of way of blaster fire. Unlike the previous installments that you could dodge blaster fire. Now think about it, what did EA bring to this game? They used a lot of the mechanics and technology found on their previous two battlefield games and literally scanned real movie replicas to make the game. Sounds and effects are the same as the movie, love that but that is just copying and pasting is t it? I'm still going to get it, but maybe wait until it's on sale or find a used copy. Chances are people will get bored really fast and sell their copy soon for games like Halo 5, Fallout 4 and goodness even COD Black Ops III which all have online, Storymode and original work. Thanks for reading!

This is a great game, though the only thing missing from makeing this an Awesome Game is a campaign. That being said, the multiplayer is so much fun. From flying an x-wing to shooting blasters! If your a Star Wars fan this is a must have!

    Amazing Star Wars experience

If you're a big fan of the Star Wars series, you will love this game. However, if you are solely looking for a FPS game, I would recommend passing on this at retail price. The battles are epic and fun, especially if you team up with a friend. However, the game is a little lacking in content, namely customization, weapons, and maps. There is offline splitscreen for the wave survival mode, but you cannot play online with couch co-op. Finally, the deluxe version bonuses are nothing to write home about. I would recommend getting the normal version, unless you really want to unlock the blaster without leveling up to it.

The Star Wars Game You've Been Waiting For

This game is absolutely epic. If you are a fan of the Battlefield series, imagine the game being reskinned in the Star Wars Universe. It isn't really that simple, but with DICE being the maker of the game, you can definitely feel the Battlefield influence. The sounds of the game are AMAZING! It literally feels like you are playing the movie. I absolutely love the Figher Squadron game mode. Playing as Slave 1 and the Millennium Falcon has me giggling like a school girl every single time. I can't recommend this game enough. So much fun. Do I wish there was a story mode? Absolutely. But you will never run out of things to do!

As a long time star war fan. I've gone thru a tons of SW games only to find them to fail. Finally Dice puts out a game that the graphics and game play are superior!

This is a Star Wars version of Titanfall

I love Star Wars! I am a huge fan and that is one reason why I am giving this a 3 star instead of one or two. I was excited to receive Battlefront and decided to go with the deluxe because it wasn't much more then the standard. I really think it was a waste of money. I was not expecting it not to have a story mode or campaign because believe it or not people still like to do that, but Xbox just keeps wanting to make all online gaming which not everyone can have internet every where you go. I did like playing it online:however, I can not play most the time because it keeps saying bad connection and I know it is not my internet because I have extreme roadrunner which is pretty fast. I looked it up and alot of people are having the same problems also. The graphics on this game are great and you'll love the places you get to battle in which you'll recognize from the movies and I think that is awesome. This is just a Star Wars version of Titanfall!!

I was really looking forward to the release of this game, being a huge SW fan. In a nutshell, it does the job of making you feel like you're in some of the more famous environments of the series. The graphics look great, and the gameplay is fun. My son and I enjoy teaming up for local play and have worked our way up through the online ranks as well. Looking forward to future downloadable content to keep our interest going...

A Sad Day in a Galaxy Far Far Away...

The game is sadly very thin on content and probably not worth the $60-80 you'll pay for the "Deluxe Edition". The "Deluxe Edition" only has early access to a gun you'll get later and an emote, nothing special. The game itself is very hollow, but very authentic looking in terms of Star Wars. Buy at your own risk!

I've been looking for a multiplayer game that is more fun than frustrating, and this game is it! Love it! You should know, there is no campaign. And the season pass is $50. This seems to be standard operating procedure for EA. I bought it knowing this so I have no complaints. I've felt the season passes for the Battlefield games have been worth it.

Finally a Star Wars game that brings back the greatness that Star Wars games used to be. My 9 year old son and I love this game. My friends and my son's friends have made this our go to game. Fun Fun and worthy of the Star Wars name, and a great game even if it wasn't Star Wars. Would highly recommend this game!!

When the Star Wars theme came on it gave me chills! Then it was exciting to find out that they split the game up in mission themes, flying an X-wing, Fighting as Darth Vader, and driving an AT, simply amazing experience from the big screen movie to your big screen TV.
