You know what you are getting into with the star wars universe. The campaign is like watching the episode covering ROTJ and The Force Awakens. The multiplayer mode is exactly what you would expect.

I waited until the price came down on SWBF2 because of all of the negative reviews, but I can say it was worth waiting for. Yes, there are lots of unlocks, but there aren't any aggressive microtransactions. I'm mostly playing the single player campaign and it is a nice bit of SW lore. The game looks great and SW music is always fantastic.

This game is better than the first battlefront because of the single play campaign but there is still a lot of issues that need to be resolved. Like the creates I'm still unsure what they plan on doing about that in the future. Most of the game takes place online and I'm not a big fan of all online stuff. I do like the campaign but it is still too short maybe they will keep upgrading it. We will just have to wait and see.

Game plays great and looks good. Only thing bad is how EA wants you to pay to level up faster.

Amazing graphics and great gameplay. It finally reminds me of the original with its story mode. I find it better than Battlefront 1

This is an excellent sequel to a great game. So glad they added a story mode to this game, but the multiplayer is still the best.

The single player campaign was great, but shorter then I had hoped (hence the 4*) But multiplayer is better than the first game.

I purchased this game presale and was able to play the beta, as well. The actual gameplay is better than the beta. I enjoyed the graphics and incorporating the characters into the gameplay.

Have really enjoyed the game so far. I’m especially happy that it has a campaign mode now. I love the only multiplayer mode, but having a campaign mode was something I had been waiting for

Awesome game, lots of improvements over the last, and even better graphics. It is still early, but they are already listening to feedback and providing updates that reflect the feedback.

Bought this for a 14 year old boy. It is a bit expensive for a game, but he tells me it’s a really great game with great graphics and it has become his favorite game to play on his PS4.

So first up, I HATE how good this game is. Mechanically it is solid, runs at a constant 60fps on PS4, environments are amazing, and even when you are getting absolutely wrecked you still feel like you're contributing. All that aside, even though pay to win has been disabled for now, pay to win is a think. You pay money or ingame currency to buy a chance at upgrades and equipment (star cards). I'm not a fan of gambling for recreation and I am sure most parents/players aren't either. You can earn roughly 1 chance at upgrades ever couple hours if you're average ( like me). Problem is, either I have terrible luck or things are weights against items as I keep getting victory poses and emotes. I'd honestly hold off on buying this till EA revamps the progression system. Disney is not down with all the negative press, so hopefully that means things will progress in a more meaningful way. There is offline split screen coop, though they are all "kill x many enemies in Y amount of time" with no other objectives. So it's pretty stale in my opinion. Also, you can only earn 600 credits every 3 hours (1/4 of the cheapest loot crate cost). So there is that too...

This game is a must for console games and any star wars fan. The campaign has a great story that fits right into the universe we already know. The multiplayer class system is top notch

Graphics are great and crisp. Very fluid movements with intuitive design. The story mode was really good but a little short.

The force is strong with this one. Get this if you want to get your jedi on. Good game, great graphics, awesome experience.

WAY BETTER THAN THE 1st ONE! The story mode is actually really good and the multiplayer is great. Big PVP maps and now that EA has fixed the pay to win situation, it is worth buying.

I specifically liked how this game has a single player campaign but the game gets kinda old when you're not playing online

Awesome game and fun to play. A lot to be unlocked through gameplay that will take a while, unless you want to pay for it.

Apart from the unlockable and buyable issues this game is great. So far I’ve only played campaign but it’s been fantastic!

Fun shooter. Improvement over the last one. Campaign was fun, hopefully they add some additional missions with the heros.
