Awesome game and was way better than the last one.

I must say i am impressed with this game. It reminds me of COD with storm troopers. Its fun, multiplayer is awesome, and the campaign is much better than expected. Must have for star wars junkies

If this game wasn't star wars themed it would suck. But it IS star war themed so it is awesome. The only complaint I have is that the crate system is totally random so you end up earning upgrades for classes you dont even use.

Good game but the campaign is way too short. I wish they would make it longer and have the online stuff as an added bonus. I like the storyline and how it ties in with the movies. Then maybe BF 3 will have a longer campaign.

I bought this for my teenage son for his birthday. He loves it and I even gave it a try. The campaign was so much that I finished it in just a few days. I wish that part of the game was longer, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Clear improvements from the first Star Wars Battlefront. Improved on pilot battles and a good mix of game types in Galatic Assault. If you bought the first, you will really enjoy this one. Don’t believe the negative posts

New battlefront game Story mode is very good fills some gaps in the timeline, online play fun with a few kinks here and there no more microtransactions or at least for now if you are a star wars fan highly recommended.

Highly anticipated release and looked forward to playing. Visually amazing. Feels like your in the Star Wars universe. A bit tricky to get use to all the available options but enjoyable when used to it.

Fun game. I enjoyed the story of the campaign but was disappointed it was over so quickly. Online play is fun too

The loot box stuff sucks, but if you look at just the game, it is a good shooter and the campaign is good as well

Finally a story mode! Have only played for an hour or so and I'm enjoying playing with the character on the opposite side. Cool to play a bad guy. If you love Star wars then you will enjoy this game.

The new STAR WARS Battlefront 2 Deluxe Edition is the one to Have. You get a lot more Extras with this Version in Content and Story line than you do with the Base Battlefront 2 Game. Spend a little bit more and get the Deluxe Version! You will be so much Happier you did!

EA made a firestorm of fury with the original loot box model. It's a very fun game and the campaign is so fun.

most of the controversy over this game has been over the online MP microtransactions, as of my writing this, those have been TEMPORARILY removed, meaning they will be back. Otherwise the online has been pretty fun, but the death star map isnt balanced, is graphically boring, and poorly MP designed, Ive played on little else so far. The cards are earned far faster than those original poor estimates on forums people are up in arms about (and hero unlock prices were cut down), but everyone who had EA origin access or an expensive preorder has been able to buy stuff for days, and its not taken away. The campaign - one of the worst I've ever encountered in any game, giant plot holes, explicit breaking of the timeline in the movies, poor gameplay. you only play as the main character for 1/2 of the missions, though Ill say Gavankar's voice acting is fine as Versio, and the motion capture of her face is pretty well done. They shoehorn in all the rebel heroes from the original trilogy, and try to cover their tracks from the last game (battle of Jakku is in this one, MP map in the last game) and they have 2 entire missions unrelated AT ALL to the campaign story which are just promotional material for the next movie. The AI is trash, the storytelling lame, and the game is short and not exciting. The soundtrack and FX are still solid (which Isn't saying much as they've been around for decades, and the people making the original series created them with 70s tech). Some long range visuals are nice, but only made me look twice on two occasions. Going back to using physical models for the ships and vehicles was a good decision (duh) and most of those look really good. I've stopped multiple friends buying this, hopefully you'll make an informed decision now.

Better than the first, but the character advancement is horrible. Single player campaign is interesting but short. Probably best for a Star Wars fan.

Thought I had to buy this disc. Turns out, i should have waited to get it for less digitally and it wouldn't run the ps4 so hot. Looking for long load times. Here ya go.... But still good game.
