The second installment for EA of the new Star Wars Battlefront is much improved. Has an interesting and exciting story line for the campaign mode. I feel the biggest improvement is the addition of more offline play compared to the last game, there is hours of enjoyment with this game in single player where as the last game was pretty much all online. I do feel the more improvement could be made in the game mechanics, characters still fell a little clunky at times, and there could still be more done to add to the games single player experience, not everyone want to play multiplayer online and some of us who live in rural areas do not get the benefit of have high speed internet to play games online.

There is a lot of hate for the use of a lootbox system. The main complaint seems to be that certain characters aren't unlocked at the beginning and the lootboxes people can buy would let them unlock them faster. What gets ignored is how this compares to the last game...no lootboxes but in order to unlock the new content released, you had to pay...and the cost was like buying the game twice. Sure you could play Darth Vader right way...if you were the first person to reach the coin that gave you that power...every game started with a mad rush to the hero coins...no strategy there. I'm not a great FPS player, but I earned enough to unlock the key heroes with only a couple of weekends of playing.

Awesome game. Very smooth graphics. If didn’t play the first one, the story mode introduces all the different types of game modes available for online. Online is just as fun with 20 v 20 matches.

I really enjoyed playing this fun game.The graphics, gameplay and story are done excellent and I love the music and it is very easy to play. I like this amazing game better than the previous Star Wars games.I would highly recommend any Star Wars fan to buy this game.

I am not much of a fan of online multiplayer. I do not game as much as I used to so at best I can consider myself a "casual" player. I bought SW BF1 two years ago along with the SW badged PS4. In the multiplayer matches, you could tell who the regular players were...and they skooled me, rightfully so. So when I heard BF2 would have a single player story mode, I was on board. Since the story is canon to the new SW universe, it made it even better. There are people who don't like many aspects of this game, but to me it simply boils down to if I am having fun or not. In the simplest of terms, I have fun playing this. I look forward to the first of the DLC related to the new movie.

This is no metal gear solid type story arc as far as story mode goes. But the graphics and settings and everythibg else is awesome. It ties in to Canon which is what most star wars fans enjoyed

If you love Star Wars this game is a must have. Very fun, easy to catch on. Campaign lines up with the movies. They’ve still got some quirks to work out but overall this was a good purchase.

Bought this game for my son and he can't stop playing it. Multiplayer is great and contains maps from the classic PS2 game. The Arcade mode is good for beginners. There's a campaign mode too.

Best looking shooter in a long time. Lots of fun to play. Don't listen to the uninformed about pay to win or long grinds to unlock heroes they couldn't be more wrong. Game is pure fun for all but even more so if you are more of a causal online MP player.

Stellar follow up to the first installation, it definitely takes into account some of the problems with the first Battlefront and addresses them. A fun game to play, especially if you're a diehard Star Wars fan--but you don't have to be to enjoy.

This game has a little bit of everything. They did a very good job with a single player campaign. Lots of action and you get to play as heroes quite a bit. Multiplayer is a lot of fun as you get exposed to roughly about 10 to 12 different maps.

From what I've played so far seems cooler than the last one, which got boring fast as the offline game portion was limited. I like that there is the single player campaign.

This game is perfect for both video gamers and Star Wars fan alike. The new campaign adds an extra dimension that the previous Battlefront didn't have. I like it introduces a new character and weave the story with old characters and settings.

Loving this game ,graphics are stunning and the game play is great. Of course, the microtransactions are what turned everyone off on this game, but the fact that it is still fun and for the price it is now, way worth it. Would have given 5 stars, but I bought the game and the insert insside to get kylo ren promo code was EXPIRED !!! What the heck, how is that fair, the game hasn't even been out a year!

The game looks better, and the single player campaign is a great addition, but his is a lot like the first Star wars battlefront

If you're a star wars fan then you will enjoy this game. the loot box and progression system is broken but the ability to play in the star wars universe makes up for it.

Big Star Wars fan. Love the action of this game and the different worlds they've created that aren't a part of Battlefront I. It's a little challenging to keep up with the action when learning to play but it gets easier the more you play.

This is a big improvment from BF1. Game flow is much smoother, control is spot on and the graphics are awesome. Regardless if your a Star Wars nerd you need this game!

There's a lot of complaining about the way the rewards operate, but I haven't paid much attention to that. Simple-ish fps set in Star Wars universe. Do you like wearing the white armor? Then get it, shoot it, and love it. Great fun.

It gets back to something like the original Battle Front but with all the DLC to move forward, I can’t give it 5 stars. Hopefully EA will make massive improvements.
