No complaints here. The addition of a single player campaign was great to play. The story ended and I was all excited to go back and watch some of the movies again. (Sorry no spoiler alert on the story... gotta play it for yourself.

I absolutely love how smooth and fast this game compares to the first one. It is more difficult to level up and to unlock star cards, but it is truly entertaining.

While the gameplay is fun, the pay to win micro transactions completely ruin it.

This is so much better than the previous. Yeah yeah yeah about the in app purchases, but this plays a lot closer to my favorite Battlefront II on PlayStation 2.

I will say that EA knocked this game out of the park. The single player game is very well done and helps fill in how things happened in the movie The Force Awakens. The multiplayer is fun as well. Overall well worth the money.

I was not going to buy this due to microtransactions, however Disney stepped in and EA wound up removing from the game... this game also has a pretty good campaign filling in story from RETURN OF THD JEDI up to FORCE AWAKENS!

I delve more into the campaign play over multiplayer online play...so it was pretty sweet that Battlefront included this, but it was too short...give me more

Yes, it is Star Wars Battlefront. The short campaign is a good intro into the regular multi-player platform. But micro-transactions are not a good thing.

They've improved from the first version by adding a real campaign single player mode that's more interesting than "see how many things you can kill". The multiplayer is fun as well but they didn't seem to learn from the success of Battlefield 1 and use squad goals. Instead there's generic team goals. Also the in-game purchases are out of hand. They're fine for a free tablet game but if I'm paying $79.99 for a "deluxe" version, I expect to have everything. Quit nickel and diming us on everything for pete's sake. It's a qualified recommend because of that.

The game mechanics are solid and it looks beautiful. But the progression system is based off of loot crates.

The PS4 Pro delivers the ultimate Star Wars experience with this game.... campaign and multiplayer are super fun and the graphics are movie quality

My 9 year old has waited "forever" for Battlefront 2 to be released. It's an early Christmas present. He loves the game, and plays it right after his homework is done. The graphics on the game are excellent!

The addition of campaign has made this game superior to the first one for PS4. Eliminating the pay for play microtransactions was a good move.

This game follows up nice on the prior title. While I miss a few of the online multi player modes, the changes to the games structure, as well as adding in a campaign mode, are well worth the sacrifice.

This is a fun game that totally immerses you in the Star Wars universe. Having played the previous Battlefront on PS4 quite a bit, this game has a lot of added customization that took a little while to get used to. But now that I'm up to speed, it's hard to turn the game off. Loving this game so far, but I'm only giving it 4 stars for now because: A - the customization and level-up systems are quite confusing to learn, and B - there are limited levels and modes at this point. Can't wait to see when the full game gets released LOL

I actually bought this as a gift for someone but I have played this game, and compared to previous installments its probably the best yet.

Battlefront 2 looks great, but plays differently than the original. It plays similar to the original Battlefront series from the mid 00's.

This game is more of the first Battlefront with some minor improvements. They added a single player campaign which is fun but far too short. The controversy with the micro transactions within the game have really tainted the multiplayer and EA is pretending to care but I don’t believe them. If your a huge Star Wars fan like myself then I would definitely buy this game when it drops in price. If not then you can pass this one by.

Pay no mind to what everyone is saying about micro transactions if you’re just looking for fun Star Wars play, this is the game for you.

Way better than Battlefront 1. The visuals are amazing for a console. The campaign mode is awesome and finally a offline arcade mode! Multiplayer so far no complaints. 9/10 for me (played on PS4Pro)
