Do you like being able to pay for gear and stats upgrades so you don't need to earn it in game? Do you like having gear and items hidden behind an RNG system of lootboxes and gambling like mechanics? Then you'll love this game! You can pay to have weapon and stat bonus increases. Everything is hidden behind lootboxes. They implemented lootboxes and payments so you are more inclined to purchase them instead of earning them through the currently tedious crafting system. Being at the top of the leaderboard during games earns you the same credits as someone at the bottom. There is no progression system. It's more like a mobile game than what you'll be used to from other similar games like Battlefront 1 or Battlefield. Want to put vanity lootboxes where you pay for cosmetic items? That's perfectly fine with me. However, I will not be paying for a multiplayer game where gear and statistics are based on how much real world money I put into a game.

Game is fun especially with friends , some people claim it's pay to win but you can't equip any good gear until you PLAY and LEVEL up , Good graphics and mechanics Might have some long loading screens sometimes honestly

This game is purely pay to win, do not purchase it to send a message to EA that the gaming community will not stand for such insults to the casual gamer. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME!!! If possible try to refund your pre-orders, even though EA has removed the refund option from their website, you can still get a refund by calling their customer service and talking with a person. (side note: be nice to the customer service reps, they are not the ones to be angry at)

One star reviews are exaggerated. Its a solid star wars experience that drops you into the boots of a stormtrooper. Better than the original and free dlc.

The game modes are better. The graphics are more realistic which seemed hard to achieve. Clone wars included and everything is more fun

I know you can get this kind of "basic" game anywhere, but I am a Star Wars fan not a fps fan. Being able to immerse myself into the world is so much fun and the visuals are beautiful! They have updated this game quite drastically since launch and I am loving all the new skins for characters and so excited for Clone Wars content! If your a Star Wars fan, this game is fun! I was bad at this game at first but improved considerably and now it is just a fun game to sit back and enjoy a few rounds :) (Personally, I liked the ewok hunt)

The game does not come with Luke or Vader (and other major characters). It takes 80 hours to unlock both Luke and Vader (40 hours of grind to unlock a hero). Or you can buy loot boxes to unlock a character (what they expect for you to do).

Game requires you to grind rediculous hours or pay more money at a CHANCE to improve your character further. This is straight up gambling aimed at kids with real money.

Even though EA has temporarily suspended their marketplace as soon as they get suckers pulled in they will do what they always do, leverage the marketplace at the cost of the customer. It is still designed for pay to win. They should unlock customization and keep the for pay stuff cosmetic.

Battlefront will get better with time and feedback. Right now its pay to win and wont respect your time.

This game is straight trash save your money, ranking system while pay to win is currently paused lol you have to level up through loot crates trash, Campaign is while pretty to look at just straight horrible

I loved the first game, but it lacked many things. This game fixed that. Only complaint is microtransactions. No big deal though

This game looks and sounds great, just like the first one. But the multiplayer, which is the core of the game is pay to win. You can pay money to buy cards that make you more powerful, or make your ship turn faster, etc. It is horrible and will ruin the game.

I got the game for my brother from the Black Friday sale online for $7.99 and you can’t beat that price for a PS4 game. He likes the game and he is a huge Star Wars fan.

ive always loved star wars so this was a must have after i had so much fun with part 1 of this game. id say in the past year ive played this game more than any other!

Great online shooter for any fan especially Star Wars fans. Single player is short but fun.

While the graphics have improved the gameplay has decreased significantly. I don’t understand how hard it is to just imitate the battlefront 2 from the PS2 while adding in a similar multiplayer experience on the current battlefront. The multiplayer on here is terrible. Do not buy this game.
