All the hype about hours needed to play and purchasing online items needed to get ahead are true. Still a good game, just find myself hitting the previous Battlefront more than I thought

The game play and story are great especially if you are a star wars fan. after playing the storyline you can play online in multiple game modes either online against other people or against the AI.

I do really like this game, but it is lacking something that I can’t quite put my finger on. It is one of the best looking games on the Xbox One X though and a must for Star Wars fans!

Tons of awesome modes and the game looks really cool! Big downsize though is it's like an app, where you have to pay actual money to advance or farm for a ridiculous amount of time.

Great follow up to the first one. Campaign is great. My only criticism is load times...they could really improve in this area.

I got this game for my boyfriend who loves StarWars and the first Battlefront game. He was super excited to open it but hasn't played it just yet. I gave 4 stars because it seems like you have to pay for extra things in the game.

The game it's self is a great update to the original game, stunning graphics, however those who had early access plus purchased loot crates have made the game completely one sided

Got Battlefront 2 on sale and decided to try it out and it's not bad what it offers. I mainly wanted to try out the campaign and little bit of the multiplayer but it's great.

Better than the first Battlefront but not quite what we hoped for. Gameplay is great. Campaign is fun. Multiplayer is too "grindy" and unless you are willing to commit more $ to in game spending, you are at a disadvantage.

Love the multiplayer but hate the progression system. Single player story is meh. But it’s Star Wars so it’s still awesome lol

I paid only 10 dollars for this & it pretty much was a steal The graphics are amazing on the xbox x the campaign is pretty lame but multiplayer & arcade is alot of fun

Graphics wise, you won’t find a better looking game. The gameplay is more interesting than the first one. Campaign Mode rocks!

Bought this game on sale after waiting a bit to see other reviews. Ever since EA temporarily suspended micro transactions I decided to give the game a shot. Have nothing but good things to say about the game. Love the many game modes the games has. Overall impressed on the game Dice made!

My children love playing this game. It was a little difficult for them in the beginning but they got the hang of it. Since my children are not serious gamers,I doubt they’ll experience the issues plaguing this game.

Not true Battlefront style that made the first original Xbox games a fantastic hit. But definitely a fantastic upgrade to the first Battlefront. Mechanics and movement feel a lot better. I like it a whole lot more.

Obviously you've heard all the bad headlines. I still went ahead and bought teh game because I am a HUGE Star wars fan. For all the flak the first game got I had a lot of fun playing it. I even bought the season pass. For my SWBF1 came down to one word...FUN... SWBF2 comes down to one word too...GRIND. The whole point of playing seems to be to accumulate credits and try to get better. And the rate of credit accumulation is ridiculously slow. Even worse, it doesn't make a difference if you're amazing and finish first with 50 kills or suck and finish last with 5...the credits gained will be approximately the same (there was one game when I finish first and I get 385 credits and a buddy in party finished last and got 380 credits so I'm speaking from personal experience here). The most ridiculous part about this socialized credit system is that it screws even those who Pay2Win. You could max our your cards and heroes and dominate a game...and your rate of credit earnings will STILL be the same.... EA totally messed this up. I don't have fun playing it and am going to trade it in once the campaign is done
