Purchased the game as a Christmas gift for my grandson who is 10 years old. He got the gift and immediately started playing it. Spoke with him and his dad on Christmas day and he had to stop playing the game to speak with me. He apparently loves the game and will have many hours of fun with it.

Online gameplay is fun. The only hurdle is the fact that u have to use the loot chests to progress and get new things. They should have made progression like battlefield 4

The campaign is great, however they should've had more game types for multiplayer on release. Also give a co-op option for campaign. And this game would be 5 stars if they had a galactic conquest like the original game.

Having your childhood dreams of flying Slave 1 or the Millennium Falcon come true in this game, on a projector no less, is great. Love space battles, and the team games are good as well. Looking forward to the campaign.

I've only played the campaign so far. The game play was great. The nostalgia and Star Wars feel were really cool! The story itself made me pretty mad because it ended right as it got interesting.... likely forcing us to buy DLC. Most games have a complete story then have non-requisite add on stories. This just feels like EA trying to take every dollar they can. I haven't even played the multiplayer yet because of the micro transaction madness. I'd like to say DICE put out a gorgeous and fun game that EA absolutely ruined. Being able to play as Luke, Han and others will always make me buy these stupid games though.

Very good for a Star Wars game. The single player fills in some gaps in the Star Wars universe that the books touch on as well. Multi player is fun as long as they keep the loot crates away from a pay for win aspect.

Sadly, it's just broken, even past the scandal...

It bums me out so much to write this, but this game is just not good. There has been a huge uproar about loot boxes and micro-transactions, and I'd say rightfully so, but even past that there are so many buggy and broken things in this game. The first Battlefront was a solid game that was fun but flawed, and was a great springboard for EA to fix the errors, add on cool new stuff and refine gameplay. This feels like a step backward in almost every single way sadly. The multiplayer system is skewed regardless of pay to win or not in favor of anyone who either A: has excess time to devote obscene hours to playing or B: Had the early release to devote time and level up or C: As just naturally better at this game. While you'd certainly expect these players to have higher numbers and be somewhat dominant... The system in place makes these players keep getting better and stronger exponentially faster than the majority of players, and they are given the tools and access to super characters every match to just absolutely ransack everyone else and keep those other players from advancing at an enjoyable rate. You see the drastic disparity every match in the stats. Outside of that, the Hero system is a HUGE step back, most of them play like tanks with miserable play control. The game is just generally buggy and glitchy. It's beyond slow to load and find matches, the downtime feels like it's almost as much as the up time playing. The graphics, while 99% of the time are beautiful, do have moments where you have to do a double take when you see an effect so bad it looks like something from the early 2000's. The matches themselves and level designs aren't as fun, and you spawn frustratingly far from the action every time. Lastly the campaign... Part of me loved parts of it, but generally it was a huge letdown. The story had interesting moments but not a lot of clarity and a huge cliffhanger. The hero levels were just awful, particularly the Luke level from gameplay to design. And then just the general gameplay. It was uninspired, boring, repetitive and enemies were unflinching laser blast sponges unless you land a headshot. Just a huge bummer for something I was so looking forward to. I'd love to trade it in for something else right now, but will have to wait till mid December for the free DLC that resolves the cliffhanger since I've invested this much time into it so far. As much as I'd really love to, I just couldn't recommend this to anyone as it stands, just way to flawed.

Despite the recent micro transaction controversy, this is still a very good game, especially the single player campaign. Great gameplay and graphics brings Star Wars to life better than any other previous game!

This game is drawing me in deeper than the previous one. I've been a fan of the Battlefront games since they first came out. This one is a nice addition to the franchise.

I love this game so much. Being able to play as my favorite Star Wars character(darth maul) immediately got me hooked. Not only can you play as your one of your favorite Star Wars characters but you truly feel as if you are in the Star Wars universe in these epic scale battles.

The game is fun but you are controlled by the loot crates you either collect by leveling up or by buying them. Its a random roll so it is isnt efficient. It is cool to run around in these star wars worlds.

Seriously, this is a great Star Wars experience. It is amazing what they have created and how Immersive it is. I get the loot box stuff, but that's been pulled. So any 7 star review should be pulled and bumped to 9/10. It's great. Updates are free. What more could you want?

Not really sure why people have been bashing this game. The online gameplay is way better than the first Battlefront. Game engineering is better and overal looks and feels better! I say go for it.

Solid game. Still could have been better, single player doesn’t stack up against the original batrlefronts, but it’s fun to play. Just don’t go in expecting the best Battlefront game of the series

So much to do. Very happy with all of it. Great Story. Many multiplayer game types and styles. Flight multiplayer is awesome. Bored with that? Plenty to do in arcade mode. Want to pwn your wife who still can't use joysticks? Then do Vs and go full anakin on her.

This is a great follow up to the first Battlefront. The Campaign was a fun addition, but it is not a good story. Online is awesome and the arcade mode is fun. I hope they add more content soon.

This game came out with great controversy. With micro transactions peaking the attention of gamers, most did not examine the core of the story and game play mechanics. The game plays well, the campaign was great and captivating, it is an expansion of the first battlefront, and lacks depth online as the first one did as well. EA has however said that DLC will be free of charge; and the first single player DLC has already been released and is fantastic.

Been playing Video Games since 1975. I've always love the STAR WARS franchise. This game is pretty good and especially with multiplayer environment. I own this on the PC (2 RX 470's) as well as the XBOX One X and the graphics are outstanding. With PC Graphic prices so high, I would recommend for a while investing in a console and get to gaming instead of waiting for prices to drop. I play both systems, but sometimes I don't care to sit at my desk with the keyboard and mouse, so a controller is a must. By the way the XBOX One will let you use the controller on a PC too.

Battlefrint two is great graphical eye candy. I feel it isn't as easy as the first to jump into. It's has a very deep upgrade system but once you get used to it you could bring in more fun.
