Beautiful Disaster
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has a pay to win business model, micro transactions have been removed but will return. When they do return hopefully the loot crates will only contain skins and irrelevant stuff that doesn’t contribute to pay to win. However, due to that business model being setup in the first place, the game is extremely unbalanced for multiplayer until you grind up your weapons, attachments, abilities, and so on to compete with players that spend all day playing the game. Casual gamers, this is for you, multiplayer will want you to throw the controller. The loot crates give you weapons and upgrades to your abilities that you must grind for to even get a dozen kills in multiplayer. One guy from a 40 player battle will win all 5 awards just because he has all the upgrades unlocked. Also, multiplayer load times take forever, respawn points put people behind you or right next to your team, and if you try to fly something be aware that someone with all the unlocks will likely shoot you out of the sky when you spawn in. Try to find what rank you are, it seems to be located in one place, the career section. It’s important to know the status of your gaming experience and when you can upgrade stuff, but it’s not available for you to see all the time. You look and look when it could just as easily been put up in the right hand corner. Additionally, the game has a campaign mode, but the campaign can be finished in roughly 3 hours. The campaign is very disappointing and feels mashed together. Some parts really feel good and exciting, but I think for it being so short it feels very rushed and has no depth of character. Let’s just say stuff changes quickly and next thing you know you’re like what just happened. Once you start getting the hang of it, then it’s over and it’s terrible how they put it all together. Super insane graphics and design. That is not the problem. Sound is amazing too! The game is beautiful and the flying battles are amazing even with the disadvantages and the unbalancing in multiplayer modes. If you do buy the game, just fork over the extra $20 for the deluxe, why? Oh, I forgot to mention the deluxe has pay to win stuff that would take you forever to grind for, so you might as well start off with something. Happy Holidays.

Beautiful game, fixed last minute
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gameplay and graphics are stunning, and although the progression system is a little odd, once you grow accustomed to it it works just fine. The removal of microtransactions really saved the game from a pay-to-play disaster.

GREAT GAME
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THE SINGLEPLAYER HAS A PRETTY DECENT STORY TAKING PLACE IN THE EMPIRE ERA OF STAR WARS WITH SOME FUN GAMEPLAY. BUT WHAT I WOULD MOSLTY RECOMEND THIS GAME FOR IS THE MULTIPLAYER BECAUSE I FEEL IT WAS A HUGE IMPROVEMENT OVER THE FIRST GAME. THEY HAVE CLASSES NOW, THEY LET YOU PLAY WHATEVER ERA OF STAR WARS YOU WANT TO PLAY. YOU ALSO GET BETTER CHANCES OF PLAYING THE JEDI OR SITHS EASIER IN THIS GAME COMPARED TO THE FIRST GAME DUE TO THE POINT SYSTEM.

It's Good

Game plagued with pay to win loot boxes
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent game completely ruined by loot boxes. All of the cool content is locked behind loot boxes, you either pay to get a chance to get the content you want to play, or you have to play a ridiculous amount of time just for a chance to unlock something. Plus people that pay get special power ups and extra resources that players that dont pay wont get.

Who has time for this?!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is a grand total of 324 cards. Upgrading these will require a total of 155,520 crafting parts. This requires opening a grand total of 3,111 loot crates which will require 4,528 hours of game play. The 600 credits received from a hero crate is worth 27% the cost of a hero crate. This is equivalent to 30 crystals. To account for this, I reduced the cost of a hero crate from 110 crystals to 80 crystals. 12,000 crystals can be bought for $100. Opening the required 3,111 loot crates requires 248,880 crystals. If you only purchase $100 crystal packs, this will cost $2,100.

Dissointing. EA money grab
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The multiplayer is a total flop. Pay to win loot boxes and grueling reward system to unlock features The single player campaign has been fun but it is short. The arcade single player is limited to death match type games and not the sprawling game fields with vehicles that the 2015 game had.

Paywall Ruined the Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second failed execution of what should’ve been a slam dunk Star Wars game. Adding $2000 worth of paywall is not “increased depth” Disney and EA...

So much fun!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I get the initial hate when the game out, because some of the practices EA were using were ridiculous. I don’t understand why the game to continues to get so much hate. Have been playing this for over 2 months now and not tired of it at all. Great Star Wars fun and so many maps! And this is coming from someone who wasn’t a big fan of BF 2015
