Was a sleeper hit for me. Not expecting EA to allow Respawn to finish this one. It's good too and a lot of fun. Like a metroid and dark souls combo with great Jedi action. You can adjust difficulty if Dark Souls is not your thing

Best Buy always delivers. While the store is crazy during the holidays, overnight delivery rocks. In a state with no sales tax, I. Store pickup is NOT a viable option due to the cross boarder shoppers trying to save some coin.

Another excellent game in the Star Wars series of games. Great action, fairly easy controls (similar to most first person games). Only made it 1/3rd of the way through the game but I'm impressed. Can't wait to finish it.

My 18 year old got this for Christmas and he thinks it is the best Star Wars game to come out since The Old Republic. He said it was pretty short and he got through it in a week which is why I gave it only 4 stars. However, he does tend to not play side quests or other game-enhancing elements, so it could very well be more robust than he lets on.

A friend described this game to me as Star Wars meets Dark Souls... Having played most of the way through it, I would say that's an accurate statement. Blocking/Parrying is DEFINITELY key to survival, but even at my most frustrated I've very much enjoyed the game. Best Star Wars game I can remember playing since KOTOR. Highly recommended for any fan.

EA has finally done it; they've made a Star Wars game worth buying which doesn't have tons of micro-transactions. Having possible DLC is fine, but incessant micro-transactions can completely ruin the experience.

My review of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order can be summed up in one word: Trash. I frankly have no idea how this video game could have been reviewed so favorably by so many people. It is the most tedious and nonsensical trash heap of a video game that I have ever played. For reference I played this game on the easiest skill level. I hate to think how much more problematic this game is on the harder skill levels. There are puzzles to solve. However, those puzzles make no sense and they are extremely tedious to complete. The lightsaber combat is an absolute joke. I’d take a swing at a foe and see the lightsaber blade pass through the foe’s body with no damage or the hero of the story would inexplicably be flipped facing away from the opponent in mid-swing during combat. The in-game camera rarely works correctly. It shifts angles at inexplicable times during combat or simple exploration and makes for an even more frustrating experience. The in-game control is ridiculous. The hero of the story would be sliding down an embankment and it was impossible to control where he was going. Or, there would be an open space to get around using wall-walking ala Spider-Man and it would never work correctly. The in-game map is impossible to understand. I couldn’t make any sense out of where I was or where I was supposed to be going. The BD-O droid was an unnecessary addition. I guess the droid was supposed to enhance the charm factor for this lunacy. Same goes for the captain of the spaceship, who looked and acted like a cheap rip-off of Rocket Raccoon from the Guardians Of The Galaxy movies. Video games are supposed to be fun to play and easy to get into. This game isn’t fun, it’s impossible to get into and makes for an experience that is, to be polite for the sake of this review, a colossal waste of time. It took the “game” right out of “video game”. On a positive note, the cut scenes look ok and the audio is decent. Those are the only things that I can see this game has going for it. Other than that, this experience was nothing more than a dumpster fire to me. I’m going to be more than happy to trade this in at the local used game store once they re-open. I’d return it to Best Buy for a refund, but they understandably don’t take returns on opened games. Thank goodness I bought this on sale during the May 4th “Star Wars Day” otherwise I would be really irritated at getting hustled by all the reviewers that are piling on the undeserved hype this game has gotten. Best Star Wars game to date? I think not. This game deserves zero out of five stars for being an unimaginative unplayable over-hyped mess.
