A great game not only for Star Wars fans, but fans of action games in general. The backtracking became a bit much for me, but if you like Metroid style games you may be ok with it. Fun to play, and difficult enough to be challenging but not frustrating. Definitely recommend!

best star wars game..especially jedi. all previous jedi game somewhat not satisfied but not this.

This game would be a blast to play if it weren't for a host of really, really annoying design flaws to it that make the gameplay needlessly irritating and overly challenging, even on the simpler difficulty levels. The designers need to be thrashed for it. I honestly can imagine how colossally unenjoyable it'd be on the hardest two. First and foremost, the save points for the game are WAY too far apart by themselves, and there's no manual save ability, which coupled with how it's hard to play even on easier levels of difficulty and too easy to die relative to the gameplay design, means you waste an inordinate amount of time on some levels trying to renegotiate sections you've already completed, thanks to repawning way back a half-dozen or so sections from the one you die on, rather than plopping you back at the last one you completed. Each section you complete should be a save point, but the designers were too stupid and/or deliberately inconsiderate to do this. The other major flaw this game has in gameplay is the lack of the movement precision of the character. Not the quality of movement I'd expect in this day and age, very jerky and overly broad. Finally, some sections are frustratingly unintuitive for how you complete them. All of these factors means it takes obscenely too long to complete levels within each planet you're playing, almost by orders of magnitude. I teetered on the side of recommending this game, while ultimately feeling it's so mind-boggling frustrating to play it's not worth wasting the time to play it.

The best Star Wars game to come out of the new EA era. Combat is super satisfying.

Almost perfect, it's tons of fun. 2 full playthroughs and still wanting more, its short but very sweet.. Only complaint is the slide scenes felt like a glitchy TonyHawk beta and save point distances on climbing puzzles left me replaying long sections after falling

I'm not all too fond in playing action games, however, being a Star Wars fan, this game convinced me to give it another try. There should be a map that assists beginners to navigate. The display should automatically move when the player changes direction; using two joysticks on the controller can be a bit tedious at times.
