I watched this movie for the first time since '83. I still remember all the hype when ROTJ was released in theaters. The 4K release was better than I thought. Picture and sound are great.

It’s in 4K can’t ask for anything more! (Until the next best thing come out)

I really enjoyed ROTJ on 4K disc w/Atmos but I think we need true Despecialized Editions of the first three films going back to the orginal 35 mm film and creating a true 4K Resolution. Then we can have a true respresentation of the orginal films to go along with these altered special editions.

4K original Star Wars for $20?! Cant be beat. Love this movie.

I've been eying on buying the Skywalker edition but a lot of reviews says it scratches the disc so I opted to buy the separate discs. This original trilogy is the best in the franchise and the rest is... Meh! But since I'm a starwars fan I need to complete the whole franchise. Too bad all of the discs doesn't have any slip cover. The transfer in this trilogy is just ok, not mind blowing. The AQ is great though.

This movie was great, even better in 4k. Watching the Death Star blow up a second time in 4k is perfection!

One the best Star Wars movie before disney took over

The metal case is nice but not ideal as it dents easily. The first one I got looked fine then I opened it. The back had a cardboard cover under the plastic wrap. When removed there was a dent in the metal. I could see a small indentation in the cardboard so when I returned it for a nicer one I made sure I looked it over better and checked to be sure the cardboard had no indentations in it as well. It looked like it would not have made the metal case dent but it's so thin. Best buy let me open it as well before I left the stare to be sure I was happy with it. Otherwise I'd be back to return it again.

The 4k version of this movie for sound and picture in my opinion is excellent. Definitely would recommend.

A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back are excellent 4k transfers. But the Return of the Jedi seemed grainy on my television. I am surprised that with the budgets available to upgrade the HD to UHD, that the image would turn out less crisp than the previous two episodes.
