My entire family loved this movie that we saw it twice in theaters and preordered the movie immediately. The movie is full of action, original characters, and the special effects are impressive.

Disney really hit the mark with continuing to captivate the audience. Movie brought real life feelings through Fin into a sci fi world. Lots of excitement throughout this movie. A+ Disney!

No Star Wars movies ever disappoint, Disney made it worth our while when buying it from Lucas to create a new story that's exciting and intense. Movje quality on blu-ray is fantastic.

Really bummed this was not released initially in 3-D, however that does not stop the movie from being any less awesome than what it is. just like in the theater this movie rocks my home theater.

What did you expect, a terrible blue ray with no extras? Well if that's what you wanted, prepare to be disappointed, because this is a jam packed blue ray with tones of super satisfying extras!

the star wars series continues to entertain all generations.they brought back some of the originals and there are new additions as well .take your family out too see it ,you won't be let down.

This movie was definitely much better then the latest trilogy. Personally LOVE Steelbooks. I love the design and overall feel to the set compared to a regular plastic case with cardboard sleeve.

I got this for our son's birthday gift, but I think it's as much a gift for us as for him! Got it on release date and the price was great. I remember watching the original movies on laser disk!

I bought this movie for my five year old grandson. He loves all of the Star War Movies and was really excited when he opened this gift. This was a great present! He absolutely loves this movie.

I saw it in theatre when it first came out and purchased DVD soon as it was available at best buy. , in blue ray. I've watched it 4 times since purchase and will at least 5 more in near future.

The most anticipated film in many years, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is Disney's first effort at bringing back the legendary franchise after purchasing Lucasfilm. Set 30 years after Return Of The Jedi, Luke Skywalker is missing and in his absence, the First Order has taken the Empire's place, threatening the galaxy. The film brings back many classic characters (mostly notably Han Solo), and introduces a new generation of heroes. All the traditional Star Wars elements are here-perhaps too many, as the film at many points feels like the original Star Wars movie with a fresh coat of paint instead of a bold new direction. But that didn't stop The Force Awakens from breaking all sorts of box office records and if you're a fan, even if you don't love the movie, it's hard not to like. As expected by Disney, the Blu-ray offers spectacular picture and sound, and some very good extras including a full-length making-of documentary and features on John Williams and ILM. Hopefully Episodes 8 and 9 will build on this solid effort.

After questionable films in Episodes 1-3, Force Awakens brings the series back to glory with new faces and returning cast as well. A rare case of a film that had high hopes but still delivered!

This was really well put together, however, I believe the content could have been divided into two separate films. A classic that will endure much like the orginal 1977 version.

Everyone knows the movie is great, but the biggest question is why the heck it took Lucasfilm so long to release it in 3D. It should have been released on the same day as the 2D version.

Great new movie with some of the old cast. My grandson watched it and when he saw Hans Solo, he said "He looks so old!" HA!! Wonderful new characters also. Great picture and sound with Blu-ray.

When I hear that music I get the "chills" ! I have the complete collection. My only gripe is I wish for a 3D version. But as per Yoda.."anger lead to despair... despair lead to the Darkside"!!!

I bought 2 copies of the movie to enjoy. I bought one of the steel can collector boxes and a regular BluRay to watch and enjoy. They were easy to find and there were plenty of copies available.

Fans of the series, have no fear. Director J. J. Abrams has lovingly crafted a film that is more akin to the original trilogy than to the prequilogy of the current century. 5 stars all the way.
