A great steelbook for both collectors and everyday movie watchers to enjoy! The artwork on both the outside and the inside is amazing. They could not have picked better images to represent The Resistance and The First Order! (If you don't understand those references you must live under a rock!) I highly recommend purchasing this Blu-Ray/DVD combo, especially since Best Buy was the only retailer to sell a steelbook version of the film.

To those die hard Star Wars fans, this is it! For the ones' who did not yank out their EYE BALLS screaming "My EYES! MY EYES" upon seeing the horrible, irrational Trilogy BADquals (How can human being NOT melt and the so called ?metals melt in the lava fight scene!?) Force Awakens rePROPS the Star Wars franchise! It was fun to watch those scenes specifically made to re kindle the FIRST THREE! Must have for the committed ones, we are.

You get the bonus content that was previously only available with the 3D Blu-ray, which is nice. Great picture quality and sound, as expected with 4K UHD.

It's a great movie! There's really not much else I can say other than that. Without potentially ruining the movie for someone else. But that begs the question. You haven't seen this movie yet? So if your answer is yes I haven't seen this movie yet and you're actually reading reviews to see if this movie is for you or not. Then you don't need to watch this movie and you can continue to live under the rock or cave you crawled out of.

Looks better then at the theater. Great sound and picture.

First let me start by saying yes I bought the 2D version when it came out.... since we didn't go see it at the movies in 3D, I also bought that version. I am probably not the only one who is getting pretty disgusted with Disney and their policy of holding back and with some movies not even making them available in 3D although they are released to Europe.... NOT Fair. We liked the movie and the 3D version is pretty good!

Great quality 4k disc. The movie was entertaining and that is all you can ask for. This really shines in 4k with surround sound!!

I remember well the first viewing of Star Wars WAY back in time in a theater far, far away and it is many years removed from the advances in cinematography and effects we have in this feature. The story is as involved as could be and the action scenes are tight, well choreographed and filmed - overall a very good movie and a fine addition to the collection. Worth the wait and most of the hype. And not a single spoiler here.....

Visually, this movie is amazing, especially in 4K!

This movie is great and gets me pumped for the rest of the Star Wars movies! My plan was to rent Star Wars: The Force Awakens before Star Wars: The Last Jedi came out, but I was unable to find a place to rent the digital version. So instead of paying $20 for just a digital download I decided it was worth the extra $5 to get the Blu-ray, DVD and digital. Would highly recommend to any Star Wars fan.

The combination was worth the price to me. We have a DVD player at home (Blu-Ray will come when we need a new player). The movie came with Disney's digital service so we could link that to various accounts and play the movie through several different streaming options in addition to playing on DVD or Blu-Ray. I enjoyed the movie and am sure that we'll watch it again a couple of times so I saw value in this set for the price.

Picked this up when BB had it on sale post-Xmas and was worth the trip to pickup from store. Typical HD-picture and if you enjoyed it in the theater, then it'll look nice on a large set at home with good acoustics. The extras are worth the time to view, and really focuses on many facets of the movie. Lastly, the packaging in steelcase is great, as it's a nice look for a pretty good movie to start a new trilogy.

Despite the absence of Darth Jar Jar Binks from the sequel trilogy, so far I'm pretty alright with it. Seriously, when I walked out of the theater I was like - "Gosh, if I felt like this when they made the prequels maybe the past two decades or so wouldn't have gone so poorly for me." I already owned the blu ray but then later I was in Best Buy and I was like "that is a shiny steel book and it calls to me" and now it's mine.

As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I loved this movie from the beginning. This disc was for my brother who is also a huge fan. The only problem I had is the various extra features from the various outlets. Kinda dumb to have to buy the disc 5 or more times to get all of the extra features at this time. Eventually I'm assuming they'll rerelease it with them all added, which will be another 50 bucks I'll part with...at my own doing.

This is a great movie, as you may already know. Therefore I will talk more about the Steelbook case. Artwork on the case is pretty solid. With the stormtrooper and Kylo on the outside, it looks great. The inside has scene with the of the Millennium Falcon and a TIE Fighter, which is a pretty nice surprise when opening up the case. It's a nice looking case, and it is worth the extra $5 if you are into collecting Steelbooks.

At little background: I loved the original trilogy. The prequels were a big disappointment. Star wars Rebels was the first series that really seemed to capture the feeling of fun and excitement of the originals for me. With this episode, I feel like the franchise is back on track. Is it perfect? No, but nothing is. This movie felt the most like the original trilogy, and was a lot of fun. The SteelBook is awesome, too!

I know many criticized the new movie for being a rehash of the original. Of course, they also criticized episodes 1, 2, and 3 for being too different from the originals. Clearly there's no pleasing everyone. IMHO, I thought the new movie did retread old territory, but it was a good way of bringing in not just old fans, but also a new audience. This is a must see! I'm anxiously waiting to see how they'll approach Episode 8.

I remember seeing the original Star Wars movie as a kid. What an amazing experience that thrilled and excited me! Star Wars filled my mind with wonder and hope at a time when I had lost my father and needed it. THIS movie brought me back to that time again! Thrilling, fast, familiar yet different and new. This movie breathed life into the Star Wars saga again, and made me feel like a kid again, hopeful for more!
