I wanted The Force Awakens in 4K and this is perfect.

I grew up with star wars as a kid, have seen every film in theaters several times. I went to see this one in regular 2d praying Disney would release the 3d in the u.s. U I bought the steelbook (as a collector) them bought this set when released, this 3d blu ray is simply beautiful. If you have a 3d tv don't let this masterpiece pass you by. The light saber battle is amazing. Can't wait for episode 8.

I recently purchased Star Wars: The Force Awakens on 3D Blu Ray & I DO NOT have any regrets at all!! The 3D Graphics are unreal as well as the clarity... I'm going to recommend this to family & friends for sure... The only other thing that would've made this better is "UPGRADE & SAVE" so that I would've save an additional $5 on this purchase IF/WHEN BestBuy brings "UPGRADE & SAVE" back soon...

Was worried about "the force awakens" being first star wars done by Disney however this movie is as good as the original trilogy if not better and considering everything you get in this collectors edition package the value is overwhelming...just seeing the movie in 3d was a awesome everything else was a bonus between this 4 disc set... Highly recommended for star wars fans and regular fans alike!!!

Love Star Wars. Hate format wars but I'm really glad this came with DVD, Blu-ray and digital copy. If you register a Disney Movies anywhere account you can link with Google Play Movies, iTunes, Vudu and another or two services I believe. This is great because you can truly watch the movie anywhere you'd like. I wish more film production companies did this rather than making you choose.

this makes up for those last three failure star wars movie prequels from the 2000's... this film is a must own for everybody from casual sci-fi fan to the die hard star wars enthusiast. han solo, back in the spotlight where he belongs... this film is a great purchase with lots of replay value. it has everything... mixing the old with the new and it just works. cant give it a high enough recommendation.

If you want movie reviews, there are places for that. What I can say about the physical product is that it was in good condition and it played in my BluRay player. I didn't try the DVD (I'm not sure why I'd want to). The "steelcase" is a nicer container than the standard "blue box" but not so special that I'd give the product 5 stars. It's a good fit if you have a special place in your heart for Star Wars but don't want to break the bank on some "Ultimate Complete Collector's Edition" for a ton of money. I also haven't explored any extra features of the disc, so I can't say whether they are well done. BluRays and other discs are usually commodity products, with the real difference being the movie which is on them.

This is review of the product rather than the Star Wars movie itself. By purchasing the Blue ray / DVD version, we have multiple options for watching the movie. That includes online access using the included access code. This provides great options, such as ability to watch movie when we have wifi but not the physical DVD. Costs a few more dollars for this option so you need to decide if it is worth it.

Finally nice to get all the Star Wars Films on 4K.

Sorry for such a late review but wasn't planning on doing one cause I felt like come on it's star wars it speaks for it's self lol... anyways great movie a must buy if you're into the whole star wars franchise universe and or Sci-Fi films.. I bought the steel case Blu ray at best buy when it came out. over all great buy only thing is I wish they had came out on 4k Blu ray as well. maybe down the line..???

Great movie. Not as good as the original trilogy, but still adds to the story line. I would recommend this movie for your Star Wars collection.

I have always enjoyed Star Wars. Even the last 3 (Episodes 1-3) were okay. This one felt more like the original trilogy. I can see where they were trying to bring in new characters and keep some of the older ones and I think they did a pretty good job. The filming was good and the special effects don't disappoint. It ended with a good setup for the next one and hopefully that will be good too.

I enjoy a wide variety of sci-fi offerings from Star Wars to Star Trek. In every series there have been very good issuances and some that are palatable. Star Wars the Force Awakens, returns to the authenticity of the earlier Star Wars releases (IV, V, VI) with great effects, good action scenes and a believable plot...left with openings to help launch episodes VIII and IX of course. If you have enjoyed Star Wars in the past, then don't pass up this one. There are elements (and characters) within this movie that are more appreciated and enjoyed if you have seen prior ones. So, if you haven't yet seen Star Wars movies, don't start here. You may consider starting with VI (the original release) and working your way through.

I held off buying the Force Awakens Blu-Ray when first released because they mentioned a 3D release would come later. While it is annoying Disney is doing these staggered releases more and more, the overall product is very nice. Awesome packaging and you get even more special features than the previous release. Plus the 3D release is awesome, especially on a 4K OLED TV. Highly recommended!

The film in and of itself is incredible. However the overall package here is quite unique. You get the DVD version, the BLU Ray version and a digital copy of star wars all in one. So I have the blu ray in my ps4, the dvd in my player in my bedroom and the digital on my computer so I can watch anywhere anytime. Worth the money when you consider that you're paying one price for three copies of the movie!

I don't need to review the movie because you've probably already seen it. Not the most original screenplay but brings back a lot of the fun of the original movie. The Blu-ray is fine quality, good video and sound. I appreciate they included the digital video copy, because when you buy the original trilogy movies or the prequel trilogy movies you don't get the digital copies included (come on, Disney!).

I really enjoyed the new Star Wars movie. It was a great call back to the originals and even though there were similar themes, it was still its own movie. Great to see Han, Luke, Leia, and Chewy back. It really felt like a Star Wars movie but is setting the table for the next movies. Can't wait for those, but in the meantime, TFA is a great way to connect the original movies to the present movies.

It was a real treat that we all are going to get to enjoy another 3 Star Wars movies over the next several years. The first of those 3 (The Force Awakens) is a really solid movie. I loved how they blended old characters with the new ones, and the story was also very well written. This Steel book I think is the way to go for any true Star Wars fan, because you get the film on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital.

Bought it first minute doors opened. The perfect bridge between the old & the new. Familiar characters, props & dialogue meld with New young personalities both good & evil. Fun movie to please fans of the franchise who choose not to be Lucas Abrams Disney haters. The net is loaded w/ people who find fault w/ this movie for one reason or another. What's the point? Enjoy it for what it is. STAR WARS!!!

I really enjoyed the movie (with a couple reservations)--and saw it twice in theaters. I bought the dvd/blu-ray combo because my sister and I can each have a copy for a smaller price than buying two dvds or two blu-rays. I haven't tried downloading the digital copy yet, a nice bonus if it works. At least it's not Ultraviolet. The bonus features blu-ray should be fun as well, but again, no time yet.
