What can I possibly say about this movie that hasn't been said so far? It's fun, action packed, beautifully shot and a dream for all Star Wars fans! I've been waiting for the 3D release and grabbed this the day it was released. The 3D is top notch. Right up there with Avatar and Life of Pie. Plus it's jam packed with bonus features galore. This purchase is one I'm glad I bought.

The blu-ray is great. The sound and video are crisp and dynamic. Great way to reintroduce Star Wars to everyone after the fall out from the prequels, and I can't wait until Episode 8. The only issue with this blu-ray is the special features. Yes it has a behind the scenes "documentary" but it is nothing in depth. The deleted scenes are fine (totally about 4 mins) and there are some other behind the scenes videos. There is no commentary track, and the behind the scenes stuff could have been beefed up, and probably will when the inevitable box set comes out.

I've always loved Star Wars, even EP's 1-3. 1-3 never really had the same feeling that 4-6 did, however they had a purpose and were entertaining. Episode 7: The Force Awakens is perfectly named because it is a revival of what Star Wars was for us growing up, this time with enough spectacle and realism to share those feelings with younger audiences. The Best Buy Steel case is a nice touch.

Had George Lucas remained at the helm, I doubt that the story would've taken the shocking tangent it did, but it's nice to leave off the Anakin thread and return to Luke once more. Steelbook from Best Buy is always worth an extra cost, in my opinion. These are treasured stories so the discs become treasures themselves and the extra protection afforded by the sturdier casing is reassuring.

Love it or hate it J.J. Abrams takes George Lucas magnum opus & brings it into 2016 feeling fresh & alive!! The force is strong with this one!! Just be happy this DID HAPPEN. Otherwise all we may have got over the years were more books & comics in the expanded universe. Thankfully we get the continuing story of our classic characters with the added benefit of fresh new ones!! A must see!!

The biggest space fantasy ever is reborn with The Force Awakens, and this film will appeal to just about everyone. Fans of the original trilogy and newcomers alike will find something to enjoy here, and I could not be happier with the introduction to new material. The Blu-Ray itself is standard fare, but it gets the job done. I'll be sure to watch this before the sequel arrives!

I really liked the first of the new trilogy started by Disney and JJ Abrams. I won't get into the movie itself by rather the Best Buy exclusive. Out of all the offerings out there, the Steelbook featuring baddies Kylo and Phasma is the best. It's a sleek looking Steelbook that goes along with the individual Star Wars steelbooks of each movie released last year. A must have for collectors!

Awesome product. Great Price. On time delivery. Between my wife and myself, we are going to have to get a cardboard recycle bin for all the boxes we get delivered. Best Buy is as good, if not better than Amazon Prime in Price and in Shipping. And BBBY has superior product quality. I usually buy online, but I can spend hours tinker around on new gadgets INSIDE the brick and mortar store.

An enjoyable reboot of a terrific 70's franchise. Terrific cast, wonderful nod to the original crew, and careful use of special effects. Best Buy offers two levels of DVD, we opted for the standard version which includes three discs: DVD, Blu-Ray, and additional content in a standard DVD. This movie is especially valuable to have in media as we will watch in at least once a year.

Unless you have been living under a rock, then you know what Star Wars Episode VII is! It's good to see some of the familiar faces that most of us grew up with! On the plus side: No Jar Jar! The cheese lines are still there and the witty banter are present. Worth having it in your collection. On the dark side: There were times where the story just fell flat. It's still worth owning it.

I was a fan favorite of the original 3 - the next 3 were ok but because it was part of the Star Wars legacy, I lived with them. This movie reflected old memories of the older movies to get us older people into frame for the next 2 movies after AWAKEN. I think they did a great job introducing the new characters and using old fan favorite characters. Can't wait to see the next 2 sequels.

Excellent movie it lived up to the expectations of the previous five I think the director the grades up his phone I can't wait to the second one I'm using my Siri to talk right now is really stupid so it doesn't always record what I'm trying to say so if this text message is screwed up and that way you can blame Apple and Siri. If Siri spoke Cajun she would understand what I'm saying

I Purchased this in Blu Ray with the extra content~~~The quality of the picture was exceptional, and the story line was captivating. But the extra content was enjoyable with the interviews. It brought an understanding of the behind the scenes process for making a movie, and showed how scenes were filmed...bringing humor to the process... This movie is worth the cost for ones library.

When I saw The Force Awakens out on Steelbook and for $14.99 on Best Buy, I did not hesitate to order it. We have all the Star Wars movies in Steelbook and they are a great value. We love the quality metal cases they come in and we are able to watch it in Bluray, DVD, or upload it on devices using the Digital Copy. We can't wait to get Rogue One in Steelbook!

This is the SW that folks have been waiting for since 1983!!! If you're a SW fan or enthusiast then this film should be in your collection. Blu-Ray is the way to go at this point so make the move if you haven't already. Now with affordable 4K UHD platforms coming to the market (Xbox One S, etc.), I'll pick this film up again in the updated format as soon as I get the chance!

Wife and I loved this movie. One of the few franchises that makes us feel like kids again when we go to the theatre. There were some moments in this one that I thought were a little too copy/pasted from the original movies, but it was still overall a very entertaining movie from beginning to end. Still gives me goosebumps in some of the more iconic scenes

Movie has the ability to be watched multiple times, every time I re-watch the movie I discover more details and the movie is nearly flawless in my opinion. JJ Abrams does a great job bringing life back to the Star Wars Franchise and is able to be respectful of the original movies cinematically and uses appropriate level of CGI were needed and not overdone. Good Casting and Writing.

I truly think this was a wonderful movie. This movie in the continuing star wars saga was absolutely a great movie. The choice in actors was wonderful, each of the planets featured were beautiful, there was love, action, lightsabers, twists and excitement, plus it definitely drew me in in a way that I can't wait for the next movie to come out. I was sincerely happy with this movie.

Enjoyed this film in 4K. All Star Wars movies seem to have the same theme although always entertaining.

We realized in the week leading to the release of the new star wars movie we did not have the last on disc. So i instantly did my usual and checked Amazon, then checked BestBuy. To my joy at 8:30 at night I found my local store had it in stock and was the same price as Amazon. I quickly made it down there and got a copy. Perfect and there when i need them.
