The George Lucas epic tale of the struggle between good and evil has something for every generation of Star Wars fans. Enduring characters such as Han, Chewie, C-3PO and Leia reappear as we are acquainted with new characters. It is directed by JJ Abrams so it is full of science fantasy action. A must have for you Star Wars movie collection!

Like many Star Wars fans, I was eagerly looking forward to the release of "The Force Awakens" in December, 2015. I wasn't disappointed with it and enjoyed it twice on big-screen theaters. Home video can't compare to the theater experience, but watching the movie on blu-ray on a 45-inch TV screen is very enjoyable in its own right.

My son is a die hard Star Wars fanatic, he has been watching these movies since he was barely walking. So of course when this installment came out he knew that he had to have it. He has started a collection of the special edition steel book case blu-rays and he loves them! We will definately buy all the Star Wars movies in the steel books.

If you've never seen a Star Wars movie, watch this one. I feel this one would be the easiest for someone new to the series to get into. If you enjoy it, then watch the original trilogy. If you enjoy that, then watch the prequel trilogy. Hopefully you enjoy that too. Anyways, steelbook looks great and the digital copy is a great addition.

I loved this movie! It reminded me of a New Hope, and seeing the original cast brought me back to the good old days. Additionally, I really love the case. I try to collect steel books whenever I can and Best Buy always delivers on these cases. I'm sad that the Best Buy in Des Moines is closing! I always like picking up my orders here, sad.

This movie was FANTASTIC!!! Best one of the "new" Star Wars. All the nostalgia of the original trilogy with all the awesome CGI of the second trilogy. LOVED it! And Best Buy had it in stock on the day I wanted it. The staff at Best Buy were very useful in helping me decide which version would be best for me (there were 3 different deals).

I'm not a movie reviewer - and won't try to become one now. Only thing I can say is that I picked this up at a great price (while I was in the store returning another item - which went remarkably well, BTW). I made sure to get the digital version as well and I was able to access it without a hitch. All in all I couldn't be more satisfied.

We all waited years for this film and we finally got what we wanted in the fun action film based on the star wars theme. I saw this at the theatre and couldn't wait to see it again at home in hd blue ray. The steelbook packaging looks awesome and fitting for this great movie. I was happy to purchase this to my collection of steelbooks.

It is very good to see Star Wars continue, but this time having a woman making the journey of the hero(ine), rather than continuing to just have it made by a male. This would make Joseph Campbell pleased. I enjoyed the action, but would like to see more character development in these movies. Hopefully that will come in the next two films.

This movie is a worthy successor to the original movie - Episode 4. Some of the themes are very similar but I do not mind at all because of the much better CG effects. Looking forward to see the next installment. The packaging is good although the box can easily be dented if mishandled. Blu-ray + DVD + digital download for a great price.

This is a review of the Steelbook packaging, not the movie. The artwork is beautiful, and the construction is well done. It even features light embossing, which you don't see often with steelbooks. My only negative is that I think the interior image, of the Millennium Falcon in flight, would have made for a much more exciting outer cover.

Star Wars, what more can you say. Everyone has, or should have already watched Force Awakens, so let me talk more about the actual product of the steelbook. This is my second steelbook (first being Deadpool), and like my previous, the steelbook can easily dent and scratch. A little disappointing since they're supposed to be "collectibles." Artwork is top notch, and have not seen any signs of fading on either steelbook. But still great product, nice little collectible for DVD and Blu-ray collections, something that will become more and more rare as streaming becomes more mainstream.

I like that Best Buy offers exclusive packaging for some of its movies. I got the Steelbook for a good price and gave it as a gift to my son. I thought the movie was great. Bittersweet now that Carrie Fisher has passed away, but I understand that she was filmed for the next Star Wars movie, so we'll get to enjoy her once again.

Great movie to have in the collection. Our family will watch this movie as well as other movies in the Star Wars series from time to time. Always good to have this on standby and the new film is a great movie too. Looking forward to the next movies in the series that have not yet been released. We are hoping they are as good as this one!

I grew up with Star Wars as the original in the theaters 26 times I was so hyped for the prequels and severely disapponted. Was cautious with the new trilogy but loved it and the Blu ray is awesome, great sound and picture, I was surprised there wasn't a 3-D version available I am sure Lucas film will milk me once again for a 4k version.

I watched the original Star Wars in awe when I was 13 years old. At that time, the special effects were beyond compare (even if the acting was a little lame). The story isn't very original (yet another Death Star???), but the acting and special effects were upgraded significantly. JJ Abrams is uber competent. Nice packaging ... love it.

STAR WARS IS LIFE. Episode 7 was absolutely amazing. I've seen it 3 times in the movie theater and pre-ordered the steel book blu-ray as soon as it was available. I love the picture quality of both the Blu-ray and DVD discs. And the steel book cover is so cool, definitely will be getting other episodes in the steel book cover editions.

I was not thrilled with Disney for making me double dip on this film but the 3D was well worth the repurchase. Star Wars the Force Awakens was a great new addition to the film franchise. A sequel/reboot of sorts that was fun and exciting throughout. If you have the ability to watch this film in 3D I would highly recommend it.

A terrific movie that reminds us why we fell in love with the galaxy far far away to begin with, The Force Awakens makes for a good bridge between the universe we know and love and the newly revitalized franchise that Disney is building. Both the HD Blu-ray and digital presentations are beautiful. Nice collection of extras for the fans.

This is something most Star Wars fans have been waiting for for a long time. I won't say it's for everyone, but I for one like it very much. Good action, some laughs, and definitely not made specifically for kiddies. If you're a fan of the original trilogy, not the clown show that the prequels were, do yourself a favor and pick this up.
