What a good Star Wars. Highly engaged the entire film. Might not believe this, but I've NEVER seen a Star Wars before this one. Of course I know who is who, but there was no need to watch any of the old ones. Only negative (not the movie) is that Disney didn't release the 3d version YET. I'll gladly double dip when it comes out later.

Loved this movie, it took the bad taste out of everyone's mouths, and has me very excited for the years to come w/ Disney owning Star Wars. The steelbook looks great. It mainly will remain on the shelf because we use the digital code through our Apple TV. It also comes with Disney Movie Rewards Points, which is another nice little perk.

There has been much said about Star Wars: the Force Awakens, and if you haven't seen it or purchased it yet, there's little I can probably say that will sway your mind. But if you haven't bought it, do yourself a favor and buy it. It's like a trip down memory lane with an old friend. Highly recommend it. (Wish it was out on 4K though).

A great blend of the classic Star Wars movies (Episodes IV, V & VI) and this fresh new episode, with some old favorite characters (Chewy, R2-D2, Han and Leia) and new characters. This one still can't beat Episodes IV, V and VI, but it's better than the emotionless Episodes I, II and III. Plus, what's not to love with the digital copy?!

While not technically a remake, this movie follows the plot of the original Star Wars very closely. It's half homage, half relaunching-off point for the new franchise under Disney. It was a lot of fun to watch despite its lack of originality. Rey, Finn, and Poe are wonderful new leads, and give the film way more energy than the script.

This long awaited movie does not disappoint. We all follow the Star Wars stories, so the ending is no surprise to us. However, this movie gives us all the thrills we need and more to get to that ending. This is a must have DVD that has made good of what's to follow. And for Best Buy to have it in Steel Book format is a plus.

I had seen the movie before I purchased the DVD. Star Wars is one of the biggest films ever. Star wars gives us a lot of entertainment. I have all of the videos and watch them from time to time. There are great actors playing on Star Wars. What we wonder is when is the next Star Wars coming out to continue on with the story. Exciting!!

I loved this movie. I found it much more enjoyable the episodes I,II,III. I love how it tied into the original Star Wars trilogy. Love seeing the characters from my childhood back where they belonged. My only disappointment is that I wish it would have been available in 3D, But I won't let that get in the way of giving it 5 stars.

I saw the movie in the theaters, so I already knew it was great and wanted a copy for myself. However, I had no idea that the blue ray version was jam packed with hours of behind the scenes footage and extras about the making of the film. It took me two days to get through all the extras and I think it was more than worth the price.

Jj Abrams hit it out of the park - but if you live in this Galaxy you probably already know that. The BluRay is a must for any true theater collection - great fidelity and video transfer. If you have a BB-8 from Spiro you are in for a treat! Start up this movie with BB-8 in the room and watch BB-8 react to the film. Great fun!

The movie itself is great, let's get that out of the way. The steelbook case for this Blu-ray is excellent. Steelbooks are always hefty and sturdy and they look good on your shelf. This one for SW Episode VII has Kylo Ren's helmet embossed on the cover which gives it a really neat effect. And the price doesn't get any better.

the movie was very enjoyable. it was a continuation of the star wars series of movie.the movie had a lot of simularties like the star wars movie a new hope. the new was still enjoyable. it was great to watch a new cast of characters working with the original cast members from the earliest. this is a must have movie for star wars fans.

As someone who already purchased the first release of the force awakens, I was a little put off when they announced the release of the 3d special edition months later. I was pleasantly surprised at how much more was included with this release. I would definitely recommend picking up even if you have the original release.

I purchased Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-ray and DVD from Best Buy and am very pleased. The movie runs great and the extra features disc has a lot of interesting scenes that weren't used in the film as well as featurettes on the making of the movie, special effects and even the first reading of the script by cast members.

Great story. Great characters. Amazingly visuals and special effects. So looking forward to the next episode bc of this film bill up. Blu ray steelbook set was cool. But why have the lamest character(Phasma) on the steelbook with Kylo Ren? Should have been Rey so we have the light and the dark represented with two main characters.

This movie was fun right from the beginning!!! A little predictable but that's to be expected for a Star Wars movie. Overall a great film to put this series back on top!!! I've been watching since I was 12 and now 39 years later I still love these films!!! Thank you to JJ Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan for reinvigorating the franchise!!!

It's Star Wars. A review isn't really necessary for it. Then again, if you purchased the film you are likely already a fan and would be buying it anyway regardless. I would have liked more in the Extras department, but I know that is likely going to come when all three films in this new trilogy are released as a box set in the future

I am old enough to have seen the original Star Wars Trilogy in the movie theaters. I didn't think I would enjoy the next three but ended up watching them on DVD and enjoyed them. I wasn't going to watch this but my grandson asked me to get it and I am so glad he did as I really enjoyed this movie. It was another true Star Wars film.

My brother asked me if I liked this final return of the Star Wars movies, The Force Awakens, which begins the new and third trilogy. I really do. Similar themes, actions, locations, death star death star death star, is fine with me. The movie works well.

A real treat for Star Wars fans, this movie combines state-of-the-art CGI and classic storytelling with humor and action. It feels more like the original trilogy from the late 70s early 80s then the more recent trilogy. However each film in the franchise stands on its own and delivers great entertainment for movie fans of all ages!!
