Well for the guys like me that go back to the original opening weekend and thought the end of the era had come and gone, we have an opportunity for a real new beginning. Will it reach the original height, you never know. I thought when they rebooted Star Trek it wouldn't last, but I have to say bringing back Khan was a stroke of genius. This movie gives a fighting chance to reload at some of the mystical endings that can help develop the universe further. And they did it while paying homage to the original actors and characters. Great start...now it's time to really put the pedal to the medal.

Okay, let's just say I'm biased. I got the first Star Wars collection on over the (admittedly weak) objection of my then girlfriend. The kids sat with me then and we still shared this new release. So how was it? We've viewed it a number of time even sitting through the director's cut. Get it, it will be viewed time and time again.

The only limitation I had was the size of my tv. With this movie the bigger the better and 3D would have been nice too. My tv is a 47 inch Sharp Aquas. Great tv but I saw the movie on IMAX at the Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian in Washington DC. Star Wars is a classic series best sren on a big screen. Loved it at home anyway!

Come Come on its Star Wars and this is very close to the original episode 4,5 & 6. Only second becuase the originals were state of the art and leaped special effects forward and these days it's hard to come up with the next thing. Besides all that the story is good and a great energize to the franchise. Buy it you won't regret it.

I love the steel book version of movie the movie has plenty of action and a decent story. If you haven't seen it, it is worth watching I have one complaint about the story, that is a direct rip off of the first trilogy. Exactly the same. Of disappointed about that but what can we do. Over all it was a good movie with worth watching

It was great finally seeing all the original characters back again after decades continuing the story. I did expect more action both with the force and in space but it still was a shocking and great movie. Very similar to the original on purpose wish they made it more unique except the light saber. The best movie from the sage yet.

This is my second favorite star wars movie after the Empire Strikes Back. There are some complaints about the similarities between this movie and the original Star Wars, but as they say history is bound to repeat itself. Also, I look at this movie as the first movie in the three movie story arch, so let's see where the story leads.

I, like many other Star Wars fans, finally own a copy of SWFA! The picture quality is great. Even watching at home, the movie doesn't lose it's fun from when I saw it in the theaters. Of course there are lots of behind-the-scene extras which only adds to the movie watching fun. And as always, there's is the cool steelbook case too.

I'm a little late getting a copy, but it was worth the wait after seeing this beautiful steelbook case. I saw it on the shelf and knew that this is the case I had to have, and that I'd waited long enough to own a copy of this fantastic movie. I plan to buy all the Best Buy elusive steelbook copies of every Star Wars movie.

This was actually a great sequel. It's really a stand alone story that needs no comparison to the original. You don't need to see the other movies to understand the story, although it does help. I thought the plot was original and memorable. I would definitely recommend this to everyone and someone was has yet to see the originals

I enjoyed watching it at the local theater and couldn't wait for it to be out on Blu-ray. This movie package came in Blu-ray, DVD and digital formats. I have already watched it multiple times by itself and twice as part of the entire series. I never get enough of the Star Wars sage and am waiting for the next edition....

What can you say about Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Steelbook [blu-ray/dvd]. WOW! It's the best yet with more to come. The Steelbook is available only at BEST BUY and has every version that you would want in your collection. the storyline, action. acting, special effects, and return of old friends is unsurpassed. RATED A++

I, like many others, was skeptical when I heard that Disney was going to revive the Star Wars franchise. However, after seeing the excellent job J. J. Abrams did with the newest Star Trek movies, I was hopeful he could do the same with Star Wars. I have to admit, I wasn't disappointed. There really wasn't anything new in this film. It's basically a rehash of many concepts from Episodes 4-6, but it effectively served the purpose of reintroducing many of the characters we fondly remember from those original films. It really was fun to watch and I'm looking forward to next film in the series.

This movie had everything you would like in a starwars movie, great casting bringing a mixture of old and new faces and really building on Rey and her former storm troopers talent to carry the drama and script to its fullest. though it was hard seeing the death of Hans Solo. I fully recommend this picture to all starwars devotees

This cover is not particularly attractive could have done much better with the artwork. Still a great movie. Biggest problem with the purchase was calling ahead several times to the Winston Salem store and dealing with the rudest customer service employee of all time.... I promise! And then tried to deal an eqaully inept assistant store manager. A real manager did finally call me back with an apology. I doubt that the cs rep was fired as she should have been. She would not give me her name so there is no way to check whether she still works there. Just an embarrassing situation.

Purchased 2 EMESLD speakers we had been loking at for two years. Should have bought them 2 years ago and had the extra 2 years of enjoyment.. Also 2 helo ceiling speakers, great surround sound.The whole thing running the system a Marantz SR5011 7.2 receiver system --- FANTASTIC. Harmony remote works great but we need an upgrade soon, to work through our glass in front of equipment. All put together by Magnolia home advisor Jasaon Sigrits who has been exceptional help even when not on duty has spent a lot of time with us to insure everything works together to fill our needs.

I saw this movie in the theaters during it's opening weekend. I thought it was fantastic. People were clapping every time an old character appeared. I loved it in the movies, but maybe I was being a bit too nostolgic? Even so, I bought the blu-ray and still think the movie is very good. Maybe the second best Star Wars movie ever.

Love to see the Star Wars Saga continue. This movie did a great job bringing the direction and animation back to the feel of the original trilogy. Futuristic but Realistic without too much computer animation. And a lot more witty than expected with many scenes that will make you laugh as well as keep you on the edge of your seat.

I honestly wish I would have gotten the steel book since I own the rest of the series as the Best Buy steelbook. But I do not want to spend $30 on a movie when the exact same version was available for $20. Other than that this movie was fantastic. I never got a chance to see it in theaters so Blu-ray was definitely the way to go.

Chapter Seven of the Star Wars Saga continues the story of the Skywalker family. Although Luke does not make an appearance until the end, Leia, Ben Solo, and Rey, yes Rey, continue the Skywalker story under the "Wand" of J.J. Abrams. Mixing the "Old" with the "New" projects a new generation of viewers into the Star Wars Universe.
