You probably already know how you feel about the film itself but Disney has released a pretty solid blu-ray. The audio and picture are great and there is a decent amount of supplemental material. Disney's discs are usually lacking in this area in my opinion, the documentary is pretty good and is actually over an hour long!

To the person who barrowed with out asking thank you for making me rebuy this, this movie is not perfect but it's good to watch I love it. It's a great way to launch the new trilogy We say hello to new faces and good by to one of the Franchises best know Smuggler, welcome to the new Era of the Star Wars universe.

I loved the original Star Wars saga and have transferred that passion to my son. As soon as we saw The Force Awakens, he asked me if we could get it on DVD as soon as it comes out. I personally thought it was an ok movie, but getting a good deal for the DVD/BluRay/Digital download, plus the fancy tin was a great buy.

This was a pretty good return to form for the Star Wars franchise. The special effects and the locations had the "real" feel of the original trilogy. However, I wish they had taken more chances and found a more original plot. I hated the First Order's super weapon (and the dialog of the Resistance describing the weapon and how to attack it was a low point in the movie). Still it was lots of fun and definitely worth watching many times. The special features on the Blue Ray are OK. It's worth getting the Blue Ray to see the special features, but I doubt I'll watch them again.

The Force Awakens is the best Star Wars yet. Now the old trilogies are fantastic as well, but this one with the new story line and the new graphics just made it a spectacular movie. I can't wait for the next one! And of course the steelbook has an awesome design that will go great with first 6 Star Wars steelbook copies.

Action packed story played throughout the movie. A much better experience than previous story lines since rebooting this franchise! The soundtrack is excellent and will keep your surround sound system busy, especially if you have a 7,1 or better system. Sounds come form everywhere and envelop you in the movie experience

The quality of video and audio on this bluray is amazing. Top notch, definitely one of the best released bluray this year! I picked it up from Best Buy and immediately went home and watched it. Plus you can activate the digital copy and watch it anywhere. Very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend this.

This latest chapter in the SW universe is absolutely GREAT! Far better than the prequels. (With all due respect, lets face it. They definitely had their shortcomings!) This film is so much more true to the overall spirit and feel of the original trilogy. And, of course, watching it on Blu-ray High Def is killer. Enjoy!!!

This edition of The Force Awakens is a great addition to your Star Wars collection. The 3D (unlike Rogue One) made great use of the technology, so if you have a 3D set-up, enjoy. I only bought this version due to the 3D disk. there are some great deleted scenes I believe did not make it to the earlier edition.

This movie is amazing! It's a great beginning to a new trilogy. The action, humor, drama, visuals, score, acting, just everything about it is top notch. The story plays out similarly to A New Hope, which I didn't mind because I enjoyed that one as well. Definitely worth the purchase. The Steelbook case looks amazing too!

I wasn't originally going to purchase this, but then I decided to because I didn't want to wait until the movie hit cable TV. I'm still waiting for the collector's 3D edition due out in November, but for now this version does the job well (and it has a great Steelbook case to match). The film itself does a good job in keeping faithful to the Star Wars saga, while expanding its palette of characters and worlds, and providing a decent plot as well. The 3D version will undoubtedly look great, but for now this package exists to satisfy the hardcore fans and collectors.

What can I say it's Star Wars. The plot looked familiar in places, but I enjoyed seeing the old cast back together. Like the first of the original three films, it introduced us to the new characters and set up the story line. That's how I looked at this one. I will expect more from the next chapter. Long live Hans Solo!

I was looking forward to the next Star Wars releases and this the first in the newest series did not disappoint! I don't have Blue Ray, so I opted for the regular DVD edition and the picture quality and special effects were great as far as I was concerned. I'm looking forward to Rogue One to be released in DVD!

This is great movie about stars that are at war with each other. But the main focus of the show is about a girl that helps out a mechanical beachball, BB-8. BB-8 lost his master and the girl helps him find his master. In the end of the show the girl herself finds her dad, the last jedi. He was on island all by himself.

My daughter wanted to watch this movie, never having any experience with the Star Wars universe. I was a little curious as to whether she would enjoy it or not, especially given the length of the movie as well. I was pleasantly surprised that she enjoyed the movie and can't wait for the next....the same goes for me! :)

I bought this being a big Star Wars fan due solely to the cooler packaging! The case is very nice and has dark side outer and light side (millenium falcon) inside. Other than the casing I'm not sure what all was different, but to me that upgraded case alone was worth the money. The movies was fantastic as well!

Movie ranks to be one of the best Star Wars movie of all time. Acting and action was excellent, sound and visual effects were great. The only things that would of made the movie a plus plus is the fact that I saw the movie at the theater prior to purchasing so it wasn't new, and the movie should of been released in 3D.

I'm a Star Wars nerd. I just got excited that my phone autocorrected Star Wars from lower case to upper case on its own! The blu-rey (see what I did there?) is great. The special features are phenomenal too! I only wish there were more. I'm glad star was is finally back to its roots. Great movie, and NO JAR JAR!

I've recently become a sucker for movies in Steelbook. I had already bought this in the regular packaging but bought it again simply for the Steelbook cover. While it's a little thicker and takes up a tad more room on by bookshelf per movie, I think it's worth it. Oh yeah, and the movie is pretty good too. :-)

This is an enjoyable movie and offers a transition not just in the generations of the actors but also seems to be a transition in the style. It has the opening scroll but word is that will go away in the future. Some parts also felt more modern in the storytelling style but not too different than the originals.
