I would put this sequel up there at the top of the list for best ever. I have never seen a movie that combined so much of the old school first movies with a new adventure yet pulled it off so well you feel like you never left the Galaxy far far away. Definitely the best Star Wars movie made yet.

I bought this because it's Star Wars. The steel case is a nice touch. To be honest, I watch the digital version most of the time since it can sync to numerous online streaming sites (Google Play, Playstation Video, Amazon Video, Disney Now) It's cool to be able to watch Star Wars off of YouTube.

After episodes 1-3 were released, I wasn't too sure about the follow up to 4-6. J.J. Abrams did a great job with it and it makes for an entertaining, fun movie that sets up future movies in the trilogy quite nicely. There is enough unknown that it makes it a bear to have to wait for the sequels.

I watched this movie about a month ago, but have already forgot much of it. Great movies stick with you, not to say that by any means it was an underachiever. I do remember at the time that I enjoyed it,and yes the blu-ray does come with a great transfer and good sound. Predictable plot, true, but I still highly recommend it for a fun family movie night.

Without giving anything away...this entry brings back the excitement I first felt watching A New Hope for the first time. Although I can’t say this is better than the originals, it is far better than episode 1,2, and 3. A great starting point to the now current Last Jedi.

i thought the movie was excellent. Saw it twice at the theater. The blu ray has a lot of great special features. I bought mine during a BOGO sale at Best buy where if you bought one SW item you got another half off. I used the deal to get a Darth Vader toaster, which made a great gift for my bf.

I'm a true Star Wars fan although not a fanatic. This was a good re-introduction to re-susate the Star Wars movie genre. The introduction of new lead characters and the demise of older characters came as a welcome story surprise, but the plot was a little (a lot) shallow and unoriginal. The story line is still good (the rebellion and Jedi versus the "Empire" or "First Order") versus evil without any entangled character story lines. All in all, a good movie to bring back the Jedi, the "Dark Side", "The Force" and Star War genre.

I love this movie!!! I love it on my entertainment center in HD bluray. I love it in front of my treadmill on DVD. The presentation is what makes this a must. It's icing on the cake for a Star Wars fan that it looks so beautiful. If you haven't yet, or are on the fence. Buy it...you'll love it!

I was so ready to go see this movie in theaters and was absolutely thrilled with how they continue the saga. Sure there is some heartbreak, but all good stories have heartbreak, have drama, have suspense and mystery, have action. This will continue on right alongside the original series!

This movie is amazing, reminds me of the original trilogy while still feeling fresh. Best thing to happen to Star Wars in 20 years or more. The bonus features on the second disk are great and fun. The Steelbook looks cool and is by far the best of the big chain exclusives. Well worth the money,

J.J Abrams has done the impossible; he has created - and recreated - a Star Wars movie and made it look and feel like a Star Wars movie should. Funny, sad, exciting and enlivening, it is a definite and an absolute must-see. PLUS... I love the steel book case that is only available at Best Buy!

So this movie is a love/hate relationship for me. The rumors are true, it is SW4 remixed. But that's okay. The new trilogy needs new grounds to go off of, and revisiting and recycling material is ok in this case. The effects and sound are phenomenal. I'd say Abrams played it safe with this movie. It'd be a 5 if the movie wasn't too predictable which is a shock coming from an Abrams movie. Overall, buy the bloody movie and watch it a million times, it is your destiny. The steel book case is a nice but unnecessary bonus.

I was looking forward to this movie. A continuation of episode 6. IT was nice to see old friend and be introduced to new ones as well. Quite the surprises and new beginnings as well as endings. Not a bad start for the 1st of 3 installments of the continuing saga of the Star Wars movies.

Was a bit slow at ties but full of action and drama...tried to fill in some of the backstories...and what has happened over the years since return of the jedi...excited for the next one (FYI: should watch video n 'easter eggs' throughout the movie...gives more backstory and explains things...)

The Force is strong in this one, Disney knows how to do a franchise. A few of the original characters bridge into the new story line in a quest to find Luke Skywalker. New heros are formed with the help of new friends and new technologies. I just wish they had come out with a 4K/3D combo pack.

I thought that the original cast members would only have cameo roles but I couldn't have been more wrong. The roles played just as they did in the original (now Parts 4,5,6) and to great result. I don't want to be guilty of being a "spoiler" so I'll just say that I can't wait for the next one!

I enjoyed watching the film in the theaters back in December. So I figured it made sense for me to purchase the movie and add it to my collection. I thought it was great that it was redeeming itself for the prequels and took some ideas from the original trilogy. Looking forward to Episode 8

Great movie in 4K. Much better than the jar jar binks episodes

Great movie! I enjoyed seeing old favorites reprise their roles. Though rey the new protagonist is a wonderful character. I'm excited to see where her journey takes her. Also bb8 is adorable. The bluray comes with a lot of bonus features and deleted scenes to watch after you finish the movie.

First of all, I knew that I was going to buy this movie. The only question was, from who? Target, Walmart, Best Buy? After weighing my options I just couldn't pass up the Best Buy offer. This Steel Book version is the coolest thing ever and all of the extra content is just awesome. I love it.
