Bought the Blu Ray at Best Buy for $20. It's the standard, normal package with a DVD and Digital Copy. Got it at Best Buy because I am a rewards member and it's the same price everywhere else. Nothing to complain. Good customer service and only took 10 minutes of my time to make the purchase.

I went to the store to buy the steel case of this movie, but alas it was not a competitive, affordable price but a quick check online showed that the movie was competitive in price with all the nearby stores, so it was easy to change my choice from the special steel case to the other version.

It may not be the most original story, but it captured the feel of the original and made my 10 year old twins ecstatic. The making of special special features are good as well, especially the set design series, amazing the amount of physical work that went into it instead of making it all CG.

Being able to return to the star wars universe has been exciting and being able to enjoy it in my own home is even better. The only gripe I have is that time has not been nice to Carrie Fisher; her performance is lack luster. Hopefully her roll in future movies will be limited or eliminated.

It's Star Wars! Many have stated that this was a re-run of "New Hope". I say no it isn't. I'ts the character development of Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren. There is also the fact that this is the first time that we are seeing the First Order. Watch the movie and let it play out. You won't regret it.

This sequel is exactly what my mind needed. I have been a fan of Star Wars ever since the very 1st episode arrived back in 1977. All the great characters are there, along with a few new ones to make this one heck of a show. I can't wait to see the next episode. The special effects are super!

I saw The Force Awakens in IMAX 3-D and was blown away. I was disappointed that with the original Blu-ray release, the 3-D version was not available. As soon as it became available I had to have it. And have not been disappointed. The theater experience is there. The movie is amazing.

JJ ABRAMS HIT A HOME RUN. Unites the old Star Wars gang and transfers the FORCE to the New Generation of JEDI and Villains. Does not disappoint. Even better ILM improved graphics. Cinematography is great. Adventureland in the Universe. A MUST SEE EPIC that will take you out of this world.

The old story that as one Empire or Regime falls, another one rises. Too bad it wasn't sooner, but at least these were finally made with some of the original cast. The same theory applies to characters that come and go of course, but these legends make this movie even more complete.

Great intro to new characters sets the table with old characters in a new but familiar backdrop. Skywalker family member seduced by the darkside of the force mainstay storyline followed up with some great action and leads to new reveals in the Star Wars Universe. Loved every minute of it...

With this installment of the Star Wars universe we are introduced to new force wielders both good and evil. It captures a New Hope's essence and portrays it with 21st Century technology that pops off your HD screen. Gives what you loved about the 1st movie with beautiful effects and sound.

Nothing beats getting to watch a Star Wars movie I haven't seen with children of my own. There are deleted scenes that are known to exist that aren't included in the extras here, which is kind of a bummer, but it's a decent set of extras for the price. I enjoyed the documentary quite a bit.

Speaking as someone who doesn't really care for the franchise, this movie was actually pretty good. It found a good balance between the original and 2nd trilogies without being overly self referential, and still continuing the overall story/characters. Also, this packaging is pretty slick.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a great new entry in the Star Wars mythos. It was a fun movie that paid homage to the Original Trilogy while setting up what will hopefully be a great storyline to follow. This Steelbook edition is attractive, sturdy, and comes stuffed with special features.

After the dismal and forgettable "Lucas Prequels" I thought Star Wars was pretty much done. But thank God that Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney because Disney might just save the franchise. "Awakens" was a fun and interesting film in the spirit of the originals. It will is well worth owning.

JJ did a great job of bringing the feel of the originals back with this story. Touching multiple elements of the human emotion, fear, hate, anger, happiness, and tragedy. The steelbook casing has great artwork but as many steelbooks do, any "extra" papers are free floating inside the case.

Not the greatest of the seven Star Wars episodes to date, but love that the adventure continues. Some unexpected twists...now can't wait for some of the other story lines Disney has planned. Looking forward to improvements as Disney learns to take these stories to a Galaxy Far Far Away...

This definitely is one of the best Star Wars films made. Yes it might mirror a New Hope quite a bit, but you are establishing a new generation of characters, so it needed to start out like this. It definitely redeems the series after the atrocity that was The Phantom Menace and Clone Wars

if you are a star wars fan, then a great movie---nothing more to be said. the 3D was good on big screen TV (but was somewhat annoyed by the double-imaging for things far out of focus---seemed worse, or at least more distracting than some other 3D movies), but still very enjoyable.
