I love Star Wars. I still remember when I saw a New Hope in the 70's. This is the next generation of Star Wars. Yes it appears to be just like a New Hope but that is the point. They are all similar in themes. It's the way George Lucas envisioned it in the first place.

I am enjoying the movie even on subsequent viewings and seeing the "Easter Eggs" that I missed in the theater. It is a definite must to add to your Star Wars collection to keep it complete... that is UNTIL Disney decides to release a 4K version of the Star Wars Saga!!

This moveis awesome and loaded with special features. The steel book case is also really cool and a nice step up from the regular case. Mine came slightly damaged (case was bent and dented). Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this move package.

An excellent movie, went back to the basics, true followed similar format to New Hope but much better than the last three we had gotten. Good action, kept a decent pace. Special effects where good and the mopvie just felt like it belonged with the first three movies.

The first part of movie was a bit ho hum but It got a lot better until close to the end when They killed off han solo what a ripoff and Luke had about a 30second part and nothing To say the two major characters and they're Gone hope they make another instalment.

I have watched all the Star Wars movies many times and was so excited when they produced this latest one. I knew from the start, I would purchase once it came out to Blu-ray. Love all the action in it and seeing the characters that were in the original was a plus.

It's Star Wars so it's relevant to my library just like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Harry Potter, James Bond, Middle-Earth and Batman. The sound and visual effects exceed my expectations. Definitely worthy of watching over and over, & this is what HD should be.

Star Wars The Force Awakens in Blu-ray looks and sounds amazing. Several of the characters from the first three Star Wars movies are back in this episode along with many new characters. The story is great, and compares with the first three movies as epic experiences.

After having done a little research on bestbuy.com, I found the steelbook Edition on sale for the same price as the regular edition and decided that would be a no-brainer. I'm extremely pleased that this has another digital copy that I can add to my VUDU collection.

Outstanding movie - my favorite of 2016. J.J. Abrams and his team did a stellar job with this film. Daisy Ridley and John Boyega were outstanding in their respective roles. The CGI was so realistic it was hard to determine the components that were computer generated.

My family and I are big star war buffs. We love the steel bookcase cover edition. I recommend buying when possible. They are excellent collector items! If you haven't seen the movie yet, do so. The steel bookcase makes a wonderfull addtion to my Star Wars collection!

Great movie! It continues the Star Wars saga. Does a great job of introducing a new storyline which builds on the previous ones by adding new characters that you will like. If you're a Star Wars fan - you won't be disappointed. If you're not - you'll enjoy the movie.

This is the start of a new trilogy and, despite a few quibbles I have, it is a great way to kick off. Episode 7 nods (constantly) to the original SW Trilogy and seems to meld episodes 4-6 together to come up with a nostalgia fueled trip into hyperspace. Performances and writing are not stellar, but that's on par with the rest of the installments. Enjoy it for what it is, a chance to relive the movie magic of a series you never thought would come back. It did. Have some fun with it.

About time for the sequel to come out in some interesting new faces nice to see that they picked up somewhere close to where he left off at which they have been more Skywalker and was sorry to see Hon Solo killed by his son would have liked to see A different ending

This is a great installment to the Star War story. Some people have problems with the simple plot and unoriginal storyline, but I think it is a great new chapter, introducing great new characters and setting up a whole new era for Star Wars fans. Highly recommended!

Star Was is an excellent movie. Whether you watched in the movie theatre or on your TV at home great movie. It was also nice to see some of the actors who play in the movie when it first started all those years ago. Glad we bought it for our collection. A must see.

No joke, TFA might be my favorite film in the series. Empire Strikes Back is the only other one to rival TFA. Great story, super fun to watch, has all the nods to the old films while still being fresh. This is a great Blu Ray release. One of those films you must own.

The Force Awakens is the first film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy announced after Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm in October 2012. On review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 92% approval rating, based on 350 reviews, with a rating average of 8.2/10.

This is a great movie and almost as much fun to watch at home, especially if you have a large HDTV and good surround sound. The extras are fine, but nothing too interesting, would have liked to see more extended or deleted scenes. Biggest negative is they did not include the 3D version on this release - they will release another version in the coming months, hoping that people will flock to buy that as well. Lucas has been doing this for years, sad that Disney has followed suit.

The steelbook is great. Good design that manages to capture the essence of the previous 6 steelbook designs, while still being something new. Only problem is that the finish on the steel makes it very easy to attract fingerprints, so one has to wipe it all the time.
