Overall very good continuation of the Star Wars story line, though obviously a stepping stone for future productions. Some nostalgia and some introduction of new characters and storylines (though some recycled storylines too). Good for dedicated fans and new comers.

Of the two new movies in the series this is by far the superior of the two. Look forward to collecting the next two in this series. Picture quality is great and watching at home lets you catch all the little things you missed while watching on the big screen

Star Wars is not Shakespeare. It is simply meant to be fun entertainment. And this latest episode in the saga succeeds splendidly. It's a wonderful movie that bears repeated viewings. It is what it is, but for what it is, it's worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Loved this movie. I'm a big fan of the original star wars movies. Thought Episode I was great when it came out, possibly due to the nostalgia of it. But going back to re-watch Episode I, I just think it's "ok" now and Episode II and III are horrible. That being said the Steelbook leaves a lot to be desired considering it doesn't really offer anything other than a different case. Maybe that's all it's supposed to... I still like the Steelbook over the regular though.

Watched this movie after watching the previous episodes with my kids. They noted the consistencies including effort to make visual effects not too advanced that would make the previous episodes outdated. Seeing the original actors on this movie was fun and amazing.

Abrams and company not only produced a terrific movie, but included enough extras to keep fans happy for hours. Many making-of features, including the famous first read-through. Both Blu-ray and 3D do fine job of replicating what was seen on the big screen.

Another great segment of the the Star Wars saga that I first joined in 1976. We sadly see the death of Hans Solo, but once again Luke Skywalker is coming back in the next part of the saga, to save the day with the Force! Great viewing and a true collectable!

I am a long time Star Wars fan and looked very much forward to getting this movie on Blu-ray. As much as I enjoyed the movie, I enjoyed even more the behind the scenes and making of the movie. They were very informative and last much longer than the movie its self.

This JJ Abrams take on the next chapter (7) in the 9 chapter Star Wars saga is very good, recalling the best of the original series, with the humor, pathos, and plot mysteries the original series excelled in. A worthy successor to the vision of George Lucas.

It was very nice to have this limited edition that looks fantastic. I am admittedly a steelbook addict. I'm a sucker for them. (Just ordered my Deadpool steelbook). There was a little confusion about matching the day of price with the pre order price but that got all worked out. I was frustrated because I do not like to pre-order things as they are always more expensive than on Day one of release. But some things (This movie and dead pool) I want to make sure my copy is reserved.

I saw the movie twice in the theatre and bought the Blu Ray on day one that it was released. I got the Best Buy exclusive steel book edition which is a nice package. This was a great movie that continued in the Star Wars tradition established by the previous movies

TFA brings back the cinematic experience of the original trilogy. Seeing the old crew brings back memories and the new cast has me wanting more! As for the blu-ray disc itself, it is spectacular. I only wish it included support for the newest DTS:X surround sound.

I went to see this in the theater back in December of 2015. It was such a great film that I had to go and buy the DVD. I plan to watch it with my family, who hasn't seen it yet. It's the kind of movie you want to share the viewing experience with everyone you know.

Beautiful box, wonderful presentation, contains the 3D, Blu-Ray, and DVD. The highlight is the bonus disc that contains all extras material from all the different releases. This is the one to get if you want it all. Really great price as well. Recommended.

Wonderful film, transfer, packaging, and 3D resolution. Just top-notch all the way around. I have seen a lot of 3D films on my system, but this is one of the few that made me gasp and laugh in places, the depth was so surprisingly effective. Way, way good.

This is the movie generations waited for. From the beginning with those amazing scrolling text, to the end with the familiar blue credits, this movie is nothing short of amazing. The perfect story to pick up where Return of the Jedi and the original trilogy ended.

This is a good movie. Reminds me of the very first Star Wars with subtle similar implications. For a SW's fan, this is great, especially for the younger generation who were bombarded my Mom and Dad who loved the original. Great story, great scenes, great memories.

Star Wars Episode VII is a fantastic, fun-filled reset of the Star Wars saga. This movie brings back the sense of wonder and joy that was seriously lacking in the pre-quel trilogy. The new characters are endearing, and I'm already looking forward to Episode VIII.

An excellent job with reintroducing the Star Wars genre to a new set of fans and satisfying the original fan base. Where the prequels failed, this one goes back to the concept that works and followed the storyline of the original Star Wars (now called A New Hope).

One of my favorite Star Wars films. It retains much of the classic feel while having enough of something new to make it something special, and I just love Rey! Plus this one comes with 3D! I don't know why 3D is going away. It's actually very cool.
