Although not the best movie in the series, I'm glad they returned to the original style of the Classic Trilogy. Good story, great cinematography, epic battles. Can't wait for the final two episodes plus the additional story lines coming in the following years!

Great Movie!!! J.J is a great director. This movie brought back so many memories and it's a fun film. Also for anyone that hasn't seen the originals you can still watch this and it will make you want to watch the originals. Great Movie can't wait for Episode 8

Forget the haters, this was one amazing movie!! It actually gets better with every viewing, which is more than I can say for the prequel trilogy! The relationship between Rey and Finn was the heart of the movie, although Finn and Poe had some great scenes too.

Best star war movie ever. Good acting and better story line. Nicely done by the director. Cannot wait to watch over and over again

I can never get enough Star Wars. This was a great addition to the series with the usual excellent effects and sound. The new characters are fleshed out well and make me look forward to several more movies with many of them. Just great movie fun.

Even though I already own this movie, I got it just for the bonus features. I am a sucker for bonus features lol The packaging looks and feels nice, not to mention the 3D picture of Rey's hand holding Anakin's/Luke's original lightsaber looks great!

I purchased this movie as a gift for my wife, who mentioned wanting to watch this before we go out and see The Last Jedi. This package had the BluRay, DVD (in case you want to buy now, but don't have BluRay yet) and a special features disc.

It was a long wait but well worth it. J.J. Abrams doesn't disappoint and the old feelings return with this movie. This is a great package and a plus for any collection. The different formats are handy if you want viewing options. I highly recommend this item.

While this film does take a lot of its story from Episode 4 I still love it. I think the newest cast members are a great edition to the franchise and the originals still own their respective roles. I think this film is a great start to the newest trilogy.

I saw Star Wars the Force Awakens in 3D at the theatre ansd I loved it. I only got a chance to see it once in the theatre so I was chomping at the bit for it to come out on Blu-ray. Extra features were great. Feature length documentary and good deleted scenes

Purchased the Blu-Ray/DVD Star Wars combo with the extras disc. However, I cannot watch the bonus extras because Disney only put them on the Blu-Ray disc and not on a regular DVD disc like every other movie pack I have purchased the last few years. Since I paid extra for the bonus disc and cannot watch them I give this a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating. The packaging did not say this would be the case. I would not recommend this version if you only have a DVD player.

I first saw the movie on a 10" screen inflight before the DVD was released. Seeing it in Blu-ray with a surround sound system is much better. Is it a great movie? I thought they borrowed a bit too much from previous movies but overall it's very entertaining.

This is a great movie one of the best I've seen. It goes great with my collection considering I own all the previous movies in the steel book version. It looks great with all the others in my collection because it completes it. And not a bad price either.

Overall not a bad edition, but not in the mold of the first one. Had one never seen the very first 3-segment movie set this would probably be great. Reproduces memorable scenes from the original 3-movie set approach with various characters in an alien bar, different droids cast in the image of R2D2, and a younger crew with resembling Hans Solo, Lela, Darth, etc.. Although those characters are not bad, they also don't quite provide the same experience as the original characters. Graphics are not bad, but considering we're now 40 some years after the original movie, the graphics and character development don't deliver the same "awe" as the original movie (even realizing this one is not trying to replace the original but was created as the start of the sequel series). For a younger crowd that never saw the start of the Star Wars series, this will be enjoyable. For older viewers who loved the original, this will be more like "been there, saw that," like just another sci-fi. While it didn't disappoint, it didn't impress either. Worth watching, but won't be like the original where you'll re-watch over and over. All that said, it does have a nice script twist on who the Darth Vader like character ends up being related to, a twist that will bring back memories of the original Darth relationship between Luke and Lela which didn't get revealed until the original second SW movie.

I was hesitant about dropping the extra money for the steel book edition of TFA, but wow is it great. The art is fantastic, and complements the movie well. As for the movie, it totally revitalizes Star Wars and get the bad taste of Episodes 1-3 out of mouth.

I love the fact that Best Buy does special edition movies with their own unique Best Buy metal cases on certain movies. We buy ALL of our movies at Best Buy the first week out because of the great savings. And...on the new Star Wars??? CANNOT go wrong there.

Huge star wars fan and this movie didn't disappoint. The steel book case is sweet and I got to add to my blue ray collection. The fact that it came with a regular DVD and an electronic copy was pretty legit too for when we go camping. Would highly recommend!

Love this movie. It plays a lot on what made the original movies great and that's not a bad thing. It does a fantastic job at introducing the new character you'll be following through the next films and has the original characters you loved in the originals.

Thought I'd never see another new Star wars movie so was so glad this happened. The movie is fantastic many new characters introduced and some very welcome older charters return. Loved the story and really that is all that needs to be said star wars is back!

I bought this product when specially priced. It arrived in excellent condition and much sooner than expected. I love the movie, and the metal box is a great protection for it. Thank you, Best Buy, for a good product, speedy delivery, and GREAT price!
