I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this movie. It takes me back to the Star Wars movies from my youth. If you like the original trilogy, you'll love this film. Forget about the prequels. This is a true return to the original movies. Awesome!

Definitely a big plus for fans of the series but can be enjoyed even if you have not seen any of the others in the series. The movies after Return of the Jedi, to me, do not live up to the quality and content of the original 3. This movie does.

I love the whole star wars franchise. This particular Blu ray comes in a nice tin if your a collector of these types of things. Anyway, this movie I think just kind of regurgitates the original theme from 1977. Like I said, I love the franchise.

Its the force awakens and if you liked it at all in theaters you need to own it on Blu-ray. Of course down the road they are going to do a re-release of all three of the new trilogy, but do you want to wait until then to get your hands on this movie?

This was an entertaining movie, but it was quite derivative of Episode IV. The prequels were uneven and at times poorly acted, but they were at least original. I understand that George Lucas had a story laid out for 7, 8, and 9, but that his plans were scrapped by Disney. That's a bit disappointing for me because, love Lucas or hate him, Star Wars is his story. Now I feel that we'll never know how the story was supposed to end. Not only that, I feel that the story of this movie ruins the ending for the original trilogy. At the end of those movies, we had hope for the future. Luke was going to rebuild the Jedi order, Han and Leia were going to live happily ever after, the Empire had been defeated...it looked like a bright future for everyone. This movie throws all that out of the window to reestablish the same scenario that was happening at the beginning of Episode IV. Luke fails; his pupil(s) turn against him. Han/Leia split up. Han goes back to smuggling. The First Order replaces the Empire. While this makes for a familiar setting and story, it destroys everything that the heroes accomplished in Episodes IV-VI. All that being said, this movie is still entertaining, and I enjoyed it. I just don't understand why people hate the prequels so much and have no problem with what this movie did to the storyline.

The Force Awakens is the kind of film we all wanted, but never received, when we the prequel trilogy was made. It harkens back to the spirit of the original trilogy and is the perfect way to introduce the mythology of the series to a new generation.

With all of the different options (Blu-Ray, DVD, Download, Special editions, etc) I felt this was a perfect choice as a format for people who want the great movie experience and a few extra features but not be buried with endless mini-documentaries.

Episode 7 pays a great tribute to the original trilogy (not episodes 1-3, which can be forgotten), and starts up a new storyline very well. If you didn't like this movie, please leave a review about how boring your life is and how many cats you have.

I enjoyed the movie. J.J. Abrams really did an exceptional and excellent job. I can see why George Lucas chose him to direct the next Star Wars chapters. I can't wait until December 2016, to see Darth Vader. Everything was superb! Thank you!!!!!

It was great to see so many of the original actors again. Of course there are several new characters which give this movie its unique flavor. Some pretty amazing surprises and a fitting edition to the Star Wars universe. Sorry, no spoilers here.....

Yup it is one of those series that just doesn't seem to do wrong with each additional movie. It will have its critics but overall it was a very enjoyable movie if not i would not have added to my collection. Definitely recommend to Star Wars fans.

I loved this movie in theaters and am glad to own it now. The steelbook case looks amazing and the special features are great for showing how the movie cam eot be and what went into making it.

The steel book version of Star Wars has a variety of behind the scenes extras (several hours worth) that add to the overall Star Wars experience. Not to mention, the movie itself is great and also came with a DVD version in addition to the Blu Ray.

A petulant, brooding teenager is obsessed with his once power hungry uncle and does all he can whilst trying to follow his uncle's footsteps. Also, the Dude abides by making a surprise cameo.

Everyone complains about this movie, but i don't care i love it. There may be plotholes, and some coincidences that further the plot, but this is still an awesome freakin movie. Lets be real people we could've been stuck with another jar jar binks.

I mean come on, this is Star Wars. Now if you are that rare percentage of people who haven't seen any Star Wars.....OK, this film is great. Wonderful dialogue, great special effects, intense drama. If you are the other 99.9% pick it up, it's great.

Disney and JJ Abrhams finally get a Star Wars Movie other than the 1st three right. This one provides the same fun and adventure as Episodes IV, V, & VI. Highly recommend but re-watch at least the 1st three to get your Star Wars history up to date.

I had loaned out my original copy so I got another and watched it last evening. Really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next episodes. Also enjoyed Rogue One. Hope they keep filming more. Lots of material and characters could be explored.

What can you say about any Star Wars movie except the saga continues! If you're a fan then you won't be disappointed and if you're new (is that possible?, then you'll see what all the commotion is about. A great movie to add to anyone's collection.

I want to start of my saying The Empire Strikes back is one of my favorite movies of all time and i loved this sequel. It was very similar to A New Hope but it gives you a taste of old heroes for continuing fans and new heroes for a new generation.
