We are a Star Wars family. We've watched this movie many times. Enjoy it more each time. We saw it in the theater first & was a lot to take in. Lots of new characters but true to Star Wars. Excited to see where they take it from here!

I couldn't wait until this blu-ray got released. I saw TFA 3x in the theaters and all I wanted was to watch it on repeat. Now I can. Hallelujah! I haven't watched the extras or deleted scenes yet. Saving that for a special night in =P

I thought the movie was excellent and I loved the fact that the movie continued the Star Wars saga! I thought the special effect were awesome. The blue ray format brings out the amazing color and picture. I recommend this to everyone!

So those of us who are avid fans of the Star Wars EU know that this movie departs from the history in the books. I feel let down in that regard, but this movie makes up for it in that it's a new story. It does have some over-dramatic moments, maybe where they tried too hard, or the dialog wasn't the best I've heard, but I saw this in the theater and still bought it. Lots of fun, great effects, good story with more of it to come.

The Blu-Ray DVD is great - an awesome option to take advantage of is to be able to setup through the Disney website to watch this streaming digitally via a computer or tablet without having to keep the hard copy of the DVD with you.

You pretty much know what you are going to get here. Everything you would expect is present. 3 formats in which you can watch the film, and some extras to hold you over until they put out the next "deluxe" version with more materials.

The movie is great! I was disappointed that it hasn't been released in 3D though. Bought this item so that I could have the Blue Ray and my son has the regular dvd. When it comes out in 3D, I'll give him the Blue Ray disc back, lol

This movie was a long time coming. Some complain it follows the originals plot too closely but I thought it was a perfect balance of old and new to bring the Star Wars universe back into our lives. The Blu-ray looks and sounds great.

I didn't think it would ever be possible for a sequel to ever be better than the original trilogy but this film nailed it. From the acting to the story and special effects, this installment is a must own and it is gorgeous on BluRay,

Episode 7 picks up a generation after "Return of the Jedi". A lot of the complaints about this movie basically rehashing the original Star Wars story line are essentially true, but all of the Star Wars movies will generally follow the Hero's Journey model that Joseph Campbell wrote about in "The Hero With a thousand Faces". It's a good way of carrying the series forward and alive for a new generation.

I am a die hard star wars fan and was waiting for this episode to finally come out on blue ray. You also get a free download with this package. I especially like the beHine the scene shot on the third disc. This is as good as it get.

I watched this movie numerous times in theaters and decided that it was a worthwhile purchase for my own personal collection. Although this movie borrowed heavily from the previous Star Wars films, it was still a decent movie.

It's been a long time coming and if your a StarWars fan you'll love the movie. Keep in mind it's probably a trilogy story but not bad after some20 or thirty years from the original movies. Everything looks better in 1080p and above.

No need to review the film, just the product. Two things keep this from getting five stars. First, the cover uses the cinematic poster scaled down, such that pieces are cut off (e.g. the lightsaber blade) and it leaves a large black border. Scale it up or use a better piece of art. Second thing: after getting the disc out once, the center piece that folds over and holds one of the discs broke the top off. Very flimsy plastic.

It might be a little due to the fact that it's new, but this is definitely one of my favorite Star Wars movies. It's fun to see old characters, but all of the new ones were definitely great additions. They did a good job on this one.

My 10 year old son enjoyed it. Ive never been big into Star Wars, but the family has a good time, with popcorn and this trilogy. I thought this one was better than the few previous ones. Get it, but I'm sure you have already seen it.

I looked forward to seeing JJ Abram's take on the star wars universe. He did a great job on it. Only minor quibbles. I didn't expect a lot from the extras, so I was happily surprised by the extent of the content. Overall, very happy.

I am impressed with the excellent extras that were provided with this DVD. I knew the movie would be great, but was struck with the organized presentation of the background of the movie to include some of what was cut from the movie.

I was looking to pick up the new Star Wars - The Force Awakens for my yearly May the Fourth Star Wars marathon, and two days before they had it prominantly displayed and easy to find. Made my trip through the store all of 5 minutes.

This was my first Blu-ray purchase, to go along with my new Blu-ray player. My son and I both noticed the better quality of the audio and picture when watching, over standard DVD. I won't critique the movie here, but I will say that I was a little disappointed in the "extras" in the bonus features. I thought there would be more deleted scenes. Still, the movie looks great in this format, we've already watched it several times.
