I've been collecting some of these new SteelBook's that not only have great art-work, but the film is good too. So in this collection, I wanted to purchase episodes 1 thru 6 of Star Wars because of the art-work, but not just the art-work. I'm not really a Star Wars fan, but I'll watch it. But in this case, both the art-work and film are great. Can't wait to get the rest of the 6.

Hubby and I decided to gift his brother with the saga for Christmas. We originally planned on getting him the box set, but were very disappointed with the look of the box set. We previously purchased the box set when it was first put together as a set and the quality and look/design of the casing was MUCH better. We bought all six of these individually and spent the same amount if we had bought the box set.

While we learn more about Obi-Wan we also have an insight into what makes up Darth Vader. I don't know if when the original Star Wars was released we would understand this move as much as we did when it first aired. The only character i did not really understand Jar Jar Binks. It was still great.

The blu-ray quality is great and the movie effects haven't aged badly. I couldn't spot any bad cg edits. If you already like this movie, then you know what to expect from the story. This is my first watch in many years, and it's much worse than I remember. This is the only Star Wars movie that I really don't want to watch again (other than the lightsaber duel). The product is good, but the movie itself isn't. Looks good with the other steelbooks. I'd recommend buying it just for collecting.

Very good movie like all star war movies but better in 4K

People hate on this movie, but after the recently trilogy that Disney messed up, Phantom Menace is looking better and better. I personally always have loved this movie, and really enjoyed the story of Anakin and how he became a Jedi and more.

I bought this steel book Blu-ray copy deal of the day and a great savings. I have been wanting the star wars series on Blu-ray and the steel book series, sweet deal, made it better.. It's Star Wars, if you are a fan you will want to add this to your DVD collection. I bought the whole series in Steelbook. They were all on sale Deal of The Day. Couldn't pass them up.

Wasn't aware they had came out in steelbook and also in blue ray so it looked amazing. Plus binge watching this and the other Star Wars movies was so worth it before the 7th one.

Vid & audio quality is better than regular blu ray but not as much.

I always lived episode 1. From the pod races to the Darth Maul duels. Star Wars will always hold a special place in my heart as I grew up with it. So I have had no honest complaints about any of the films. Yeah people gripe about Jar Jar but he has a place in history.

The artwork on the steelbook is absolutely stunning! I already had all of the movies on DVD but figured that once the steelbooks came out I would upgrade to the Blu-Ray and I wasn't disappointed! If you want all of the additional bonus features then you should probably go for the Anthology box set, but if you're going for appearance all of the steelbooks are very nice!

The steelbook for this is very nice looking. It is great for the collector. The only downside to the steelbook is trying to get a pristine copy. These don't seem to be available in store and you never know what you are going to get when it is shipped to you. As for the movie, you only get 1 blu-ray disk. Nothing special for bonuses and whatnot.

I don't care what people think about this movie, I enjoy it very much (uh oh, don't start grabbing your pitchforks now!). Yeah it's not the best Star Wars film, but it's not terrible either. I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan. And I believe that only the true Star War fans will own and enjoy every film.. ;)

The steelbook is beautiful with Darth Maul on the cover. The acting in this movie is horrendous. Bought this as part of a collection of steelbooks. All look really nice next to each other on a shelf. Art on the front is beautiful and there is poster style art on the back. The inside art is of a location from the movie. May scratch easily if all are next to each other.

This was purchased for my son since he wanted to watch all the previous Star Wars Movies before he watched the new movie. He used to not care about watching it when he was younger but now he is glad he watched it and he can't stop talking about. This is one of the three we bought and for what ever the reason might be he likes the steel book case.

I'm a Star Wars Fanatic from the Original Trilogy. The movie was dumb with trade federation, campy droids, and a cringe worthy JarJar a plenty, on the whole not bad and the older I get, the easier it is to ignore JarJar. BUT.... It was fun. Disc Quality of Movie is top notch and at a Black Friday price of $14.99 How can you go wrong?

Love all the Star Wars movies. This is one that came out when I was a kid. It was my first Star Wars, so it holds a special place for me. Great adventure!

I've recently become a sucker for movies in Steelbook. I've been avoiding buying the six original movies for a while but I ended up seeing these as a Deal of the Day. Couldn't ignore them any longer. While the packaging takes up a little more room on the bookshelf, I believe it's worth it. Oh yeah, and the movie is ok... :-)

I know that many don't appreciate the prequal trilogy, but this was my favorite of the trio. Having been the last Star Wars saga that Lucas directed it showcases what the future of filmmaking is going to be. It has great universe building, and to see a preview of the Jedi at the apex of their power was inspiring.
