Star Wars 4K Collection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price this set justc want worth it. The transfers are a mixed bag ranging from bad to passable for Episodes I - VI. Was really hoping for top notch transfers on the original trilogy. However if u enjoy Episodes VII - IX then you'll be happy with those as they are mint!

Nice.. but not the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Box and book containing the disks are nice but have flaws. Horrible engineering to put disks in and out of sleeves. Book of disks will break down over time. Movies are great in 4K but this set would be reasonable at $100 or 150. $250 is way overpriced for all the flaws.

Star Wars
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited for this and the movies are great for the most part. During almost every movie it skips part of the movie or I’m not able to hear part of it. Must be something wrong with it I just dealt with it but definitely not ideal.

Far from perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Referring specifically to episodes 1-6, the remastering is not up to the par with modern releases. However this is just about the best the movies have looked thus far. 7-9 are absolute perfection. Ultimately the set is overpriced for what you get.

Stupid spider security wrap - not needed
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took them a minute to find (not sure why as this is Not a small item), & annoyingly it had that stupid spider security wrap thing which Always leaves indentations in the products. For CUSTOMER SERVICE pickups, why is this necessary?

Poor Quality Control
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a huge Star Wars fan and have seen all the movies. I was excited to get a 4K version of these. I set out to watch the entire series starting with The Phantom Menace. Throughout the entire movie, the move constantly “glitched” as I call it — i.e. it paused like it was having trouble reading the disc. I tried resetting the video player, but that didn’t help. I have watched other 4K movies without any problems, so I don’t believe there is a problem with my player. I was able to return it for a refund, but was unable to exchange it as my BB didn’t have any others in stock.

A easy way to case all the films
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a nice way to have all nine films in one case but to be honest I don’t like how the case is made out of cardboard and the discs are hard to pull out of the case. The concert art is pretty cool inside of the case but overall it’s just OK

No original versions & only new movies look good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well once again I am dropping tons of money on a Star Wars set and once again it doesn’t have the original versions of the first three films...the prequels and originals don’t even look that hot considering this is 4k, granted this is the best they have looked on home video but it’s a far cry from what could be if Disney bothered dropping some money on decent restorations. The newest three movies look and sound great and so does revenge of the sith though. Hopefully someday the fans will get what their really want and get a box set with the original versions of the first three films with all the bells and whistles included but I’m not holding my breath...

Scratched, smudged, oily discs
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The packaging was not thought through terribly well. I did not put my own fingers on any of the discs but many of them had fingerprints on them. All of them had scratches although only a couple were bad enough to interfere with playback (tested on several 4k playback devices, televisions, and several audio receivers as well). The only disc which was able to come out freely was, ironically, split. On the other hand, it's Star Wars. Most of the movies played okay. But what should have been an enjoyable experience watching them became a stressful one as I rushed to determine which discs would need replacing, knowing I was on a return timetable.

it's alright
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm worried that the packaging of might scratch the discs because of how tight the cardboard is bit the quality of the discs and 4k transfers are good I would recommend getting the 4k releases separately instead

Meh
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great to finally have 4K, but there's no exclusive bonus features and of course no original cuts of the original trilogy. Could of been a better box set for the money. The packaging is pretty cool though.

Easy Return
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited for this, and as soon as I started seeing people post early pictures and unboxing reviews, I noticed most of their boxes didn't have the 2 halves of the Deathstar line up. Of course, I receive mine and it does not line up either. The quality of the book/pages is also subpar as they are flimsy and the discs are horrible to get in and out. For $265.00 after tax, there is no excuse for this lack of quality on a collector grade set. At the very least, the Deathstar should not be misaligned. Returning this set asap and getting them individually, at least the slipcovers are nice...

DEFECTIVE DISCS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking forward to 9 consecutive nights of Star Wars fun...All had to do was toss a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc into my Sony 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray / Blu-ray player and hit PLAY...and it was great until sometime between 00:50:00 and 01:10:00 elapsed on episodes 1-7 when each disc froze: the picture stopped moving and the audio went silent. By that point I had invested: I needed to see the rest of the story so I put the corresponding Blu-ray disc into the player and went to the same part of the story and hit play and within 10 minutes the Blu-ray disc froze too.

TERRIBLE PACKAGING!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a lifelong StarWars fan this set was an incredible disappointment. First off, the artwork in the inner book is not very good. In fact some of it is terrible, like the pixelated crayon-looking art for Revenge of the Sith. The fake bolts and fake metallic sheen of this cheap cardboard "book" enhances the overall tackiness and lack of quality. To add insult to injury, the too-tight cardboard sleeves not only have a tendency to scratch the discs, but also make it impossible not to get fingerprints all over discs when pulling them out. And the black outer box has a "soft" texture that is impossible to keep clean or not get fingerprints all over unless wearing cloth gloves. Why? Why? Why did they choose this type of packaging? The shape is also awkward and unwieldy for any shelf and has to be set on a table with several feet of space required to "stretch" this box open. Just an epic failure of design. For such a culturally impactful film series like Star Wars, I'm amazed how bad this box set is. A shameful presentation. Not only is the packaging outright garbage, there are also many previously released special features that are not included here, making this far from a complete collectors set. Save your money and buy the individual titles instead. The premium paid for this failure of packaging is just not worth it.

DO NOT BUY! Deflective Discs.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Movies don't play and get disc errors. DO NOT BUY. Episode I - Errors occurred at Pod race scenes, making it unwatchable. Episode II - No Errors Episode III - Errors at about 50 min mark, movie could not be played further Tried to exchange at Best Buy but was 16 days from purchase and not returnable. How is one expected to notice failures within that period? I only got to Episode III. Now, I am the proud owner of a $250 box set that doesn't have UHD discs that work. Go Disney! I tried on a Sony UHD player, an Xbox Series X and X box One X. Same issue on all the players.
