Q: The picture shows 27 disk.. What is on each disk exactly?
A: I believe that it’s all 9 movies on 4K, all 9 movies on blu-ray, and extras for all 9 movies on blu-ray (one blu per film).
A: I know on the Disney plus app the Original Trilogy movies are new 4k transfers (2012?) based on the SE 1997 Negatives, with most of the 2004 and 2011 Blu-ray changes put back in and better color timing/sound mixes then the old 2004 masters that the 2011-2019 Blu-ray also used. No word on if the restored original unaltered cuts will be included at least in HD quality. The Prequels are most likely the same files used to create the 2011-2019 Blu-ray, up-scaled with a (very) slightly different color timing and sound mixes. The Sequels will most likely be the same as the Blu-ray and 4k already in stores, or soon to be The special features will probably be everything released on all the DVD and Blu-ray/digital copies of the past. Maybe some archived stuff as well.
Q: Just to be sure , it doesn't include Rouge One or Solo but does it contain The Rise of Skywalker ?
A: It will not contain Rogue One or Solo: A Star Wars Story. Just the 9 episodic films of the Skywalker saga including The Rise of Skywalker.
A: No, it does not have Japanese subtitles or dubbing.
Q: Is the Digital copy going to be HDX or UHD???? Thank You!!!!!
A: Based on previous Disney releases, the digital copy will be UHD if you purchase the 4K Blu-ray version of this set.
Q: Is this box set limited to a number? And also is the letter truly signed by Mark or is it a reprint?
A: I see no numbering on the box and the letter from Mark Hamill is mass produced and printed on a translucent parchment material.
A: The digital copies will be available for all platforms (iTunes, Vudu, Prime Video, etc.), but if you have a Movies Anywhere account, then the digital copies for the movies will be used for all those platforms. The digital copies are included in the release, so you’ll have to wait until the 31st to get them, sadly.
Q: Are these HDR (High Dynamic Range?) copies, too?
A: The 4K discs are in standard HDR. The digital downloads also are encoded in Dolby Vision.
