Lame writing, but might as well get the engine upgrade, coop options, and new multiplayer options.

I really like Starcraft series and I have original Starcraft game and purchased Starcraft 2 as soon as it came out. Interface of the game was updated in preparation to the Legacy of the Void release. I really like the new units. I enjoyed playing prologue missions (free), and currently continuing with campaign. It's a third installment of Starcraft 2, and there might be Starcraft 3 in several years. Excellent game play, great story and you get to finish the story if you buy this game.

From the very first mission of SC2: LOTV, the impending doom and destruction is evident (at least when playing on Brutal difficulty). I loved (LOVED) WOL's campaign, thought HOTS's was good, but just didn't care for the Zerg, and then along comes LOTV to bring it home. While the story itself doesn't do much to stand out from other 'end of the world' scenarios, the missions themselves are fantastic. On the multiplayer side, it's still a blast. Real changes have been made, and will probably continue to be made as SC2 pros engage in various eSports tournaments. If you're a fan of the RTS genre, there's no reason not to pick up this expansion.

The Final Chapter of Starcraft 2

You don't need to buy the first two games to play this game, but the storyline is so good, it's recommended. This game follows Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm to bring the epic finale to the Starcraft 2 story. It also introduces some awesome new game modes and new units for each race. I'm personally most excited for Archon mode where two players play one base.

Story line is decent and game play is awesome! I can not quite put my finger on it, but i feel Activision-Blizzard got a little lazy with story line. I had an underlying feeling of this story kind of reminds me of Diablo 3, especially in certain scenarios in the game! Multiplayer is awesome and fun!

i find the campaign pretty enjoyable. Multiplayer is among the best of any RTS game. Co-op mode was a fun addition although it gets a bit repetitive.

I have to say Blizzard has stepped up their game this time around. You have multiple modes to play which include campaign(solo play), co-op, and multiplayer. The story is intriguing and makes you want to see what happens next. For those who are worried that multiplayer is a little too competitive and requires too much time to invest to play worry not! Co-op is the solution for you to play with other people and play at your own pace against computers. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. Now stop reading this and go play starcraft 2!

What can I say? Starcraft is one of those games that, despite being built on a competitive framework, is excellent for everybody. I enjoy playing the single-player campaign, the co-op missions, and competitive ladder matches. It's remarkable that Blizzard, for quite a while now, has been able to make a game that is both excellent in quality and caters to every type of player.

If you are an online player then you would probably rate this a 4 or 5 star. But if you like playing the off-line campaign or skirmishes against the AI, then you are in for some headaches. I am running Windows 7 so maybe part of the issue is the earlier operating system but many people on the Blizzard online forums have the same problem. The problem is the difficulty of accessing the off-line campaign even when you have registered the product or have the game disc in the drive of your computer. I originally took back the game and exchanged it for another one thinking this was defective. I managed to start playing the campaign by turning my internet off as suggested by the forum which is ridiculous. Later, I was finally able to go through 3 screens to access the campaign but now I am 4 levels into the Campaign and it will not go on to the next level without reconnecting with Battle.net. I believe they are updating there servers (?) but I cannot connect even with my active high speed internet. So, I can't play the game even though I am playing off-line. I believe that Battle.net can record my activity and achievements and then I can move on to the next level but if the servers are down or your own internet is down what happens then. I started playing the original Starcraft and loved it but the emphasis is so much on online play they have messed up the ease of off-line access which was still available in the second game of the series which was Heart of the Swarm. A saved game takes forever to load even though I have 12 gig of ram. The instructions are almost non-existent as far as the initial setup which you don't really need if you are playing online. The off-line game is decent when you can access it but for all the aggravation I am giving this game 2 stars.

Great end to a long-time series. SIngle-player experience is long and fun enough on its own (if you're into this type of RTS genre game) and the multiplayer is much improved with a lot of changes and much faster gameplay.
