Your Life for Aiur!
Picking up where Heart of the Swarm left off, Legacy of the Void casts you in the role of Hierarch Artanis, leader of the technologically advanced Protoss race.
Years ago, the Protoss homeworld of Aiur fell to the merciless Zerg Swarm. Now, you have raised a powerful fleet of warships known as the Golden Armada and are poised to reclaim your world.
But an ancient evil threatens your destiny and the fate of the entire Koprulu Sector. The galaxy's only hope is for you to reunite the Protoss factions and defeat the coming darkness.
Legacy of the Void, the third and final chapter in the StarCraft II saga, is a standalone game, meaning you'll be able to purchase, play, and harness the power of the Protoss without owning any previous entries in the series.

Two heads are better than one, and Archon Mode applies this maxim to competitive gaming. In this brand-new two-player mode, players merge together to become a greater, unified force by sharing control over a single base.
It's the perfect mode for rookies to learn tactics from seasoned veterans — and a fun way to amplify the power of a burgeoning all-star.
Allied Commanders is a new, open-ended game mode with campaign-style objectives that breathes new life into the StarCraft cooperative experience.
Here, each player will choose a powerful commander to lead their favorite army into battle and fight in diverse scenarios with dynamic, campaign-style objectives.
Players can then level up these commanders to gain access to new units, abilities, and customization options for their armies.
The thrill of competing in a StarCraft II tournament is like no other gaming experience around, and Legacy of the Void makes it easier than ever for everyone to get in on the action.
With Automated Tournaments, players from around the world can prove their might in no-holds-barred daily online competitions.

Amazing final chapter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The final chapter of the Starcraft 2 story complete with all your favorite heroes. The story campaign is engaging and challenging, offering some cool new maps with new mechanics. Some of the cutscene textures are quite dated for 2015 and it's a shame Blizzard didn't include high res textures for high end computers, however gameplay is still beautiful. The Protoss lack some of the humor of the Terran and Zerg campaigns with their serious nature. As a main Zerg player in HotS, I had a little trouble adapting to Protoss, but had the hang of it by the end of the prologue. Make sure you play all 3 parts to the campaign or you're missing the entire story. Co-op mode is a ton of fun with friends. The map selection becomes a bit repetitive after a while, but Blizzard had already added one new map so hopefully a few more will follow. Playing with random people is a mixed bag but wait times were short. Archon mode and new multiplayer units along with changed mechanics will hopefully bring some more life to the community. As of the last patch that I'm aware of, macro mechanics have been more streamlined, but units have more micro managing options. In theory this should lead to more engaging battles, but I'm not sure if it will negatively affect slower players. I haven't tried ladder yet so the jury is still out. All in all a must have for any Starcraft fan, though it remains to be seen if it will enjoy the long life that Broodwar did.

Great, challenging game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game! Love the new units for the Terran and Protoss, not a big Zerg-player though, but from what I've seen it's pretty interesting. Every so often, the balancing for multiplayer changes, even if you just play the computer, so it can still be interesting playing months later. I have no complaints about multiplayer with other users, aside from having to reset some of your settings everytime there is a patch to the game.

A satisfying conclusion to the SC2 trilogy.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you've played the first two campaigns for StarCraft II, there's probably little reason to even read a review since you're likely already getting this game, anyway. That said, Legacy of the Void does not disappoint. It effectively wraps up the storyline from the first two games while also allowing for the creation of side and spinoff stories (such as Nova's covert ops). Once you've finished the main story, be sure to also check out the 2-v-AI cooperative mode. It's a two-player team mode where you work together to complete missions from the campaigns.

Sequel to Heart of the Swarm and Wings of Liberty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The third and final game of the trilogy to Starcraft 2. Great RTS from Blizzard. They improved on this like they always do. New units, interface, and finishing up a great story. If you liked Warcraft and have been playing the first two Starcrafts you're probably gonna like this one. They are also continuing with DLC as well to extend the gameplay. Huge multiplayer community as well. I'm terrible at multiplayer so I stick with the single player and you definitely get hours of gameplay well worth the money.

This game is the greatest expansion to Starcraft.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love LotV. It is such a great add-on to the original game Liberty of Wings. I love the fact that they added new units and voice commands as well as a rich and flourishing story-line to go with it. I would recommend this game to anyone who has the setup to play Starcraft and the money to purchase this expansion. If you are a fan of Blizzard Entertainment games this one is for you!

Great Campaign, Continued Multiplayer fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great campaign to finish series off! Blizzard's pulled out on the stops for high CG cutscenes and lots of special units in campaign mode. Multiplayer is also a blast with co-op missions, tournaments, and typical multiplayer games. Oh, and delivery came in perfect condition, got the pretty box safe and sound.

StarCraft
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.StarCraft pretty much speaks for itself. If you like real-time strategy games, then you should own this game. Blizzard is one of the few companies who still puts out and believes in "Expansions" to games. Their model may be strange to todays generations who are growing up on smaller DLC packs instead of full blown expansions, but Blizzard games have always been worth the full expansion price to me. They also continue to support their games regularly with free patches -- some of which even add new game features themselves. Blizzard is great gaming company and at the helm of it is 3 titles that made them famous: WarCraft, StarCraft, and Diablo. Each of them are worth a pickup, and should be in your collection if you are even a partial fan. I myself am not a fan of some of their titles (Word of Warcraft for example), but I do give it the respect that it deserves in the gaming industry.
