Customers commend the game itself, its price point, and the fun factor, highlighting the enjoyable experience and cool toys. Positive feedback also mentions ease of use, the Star Fox theme, customization options, and the engaging storyline. However, some customers note that the controls could be improved, and the difficulty may be challenging for younger players or those new to the game. A few also mention limitations regarding the number of ships and the sturdiness of the physical figures.

This is what Starfox Zero should of been!

Absolutely awesome and FUN game! Ignore the negative nancy reviews from others who never bought this game and only judging the game from a trailer. The starter kit that I got comes with a ship, 2 weapon add ons, 2 characters, a large poster and the main controller mount that holds the ship. This game is what Star Fox Zero should if been when it was released on the Wii U a few years ago. I've already put about 5 hours into this game so far and it is one of the most fun Switch games to play at the moment. If you're looking for a fun flight combat game with tons of replay value, then I strongly recommend picking this game up! Plus, if you're also looking for a new and fresh game to play then Starlink is the perfect game. Otherwise, go back to replaying the same boring fortnite/CallOfDuty games.

Fun game that allows for a lot of customization. Like how it allows you to build your own in game characters/vehicles. A little had for small children, but will be great for young to older children and adults.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is our family's new favorite game. With adventure, puzzles, and problem-solving, my son and his friends love this action filled game that brings toys to life.

Starlink Battle for Atlas is a good take on the toys to life genre, particularly for younger audiences. The switch version is definitely the better platform to get simply for the fact you get Starfox McCloud's ship instead of some generic on on PS4/Xbox. It also includes exclusive missions. By buying and mounting different ship toys, they digitally appear in the game. Children will find this fun, but it all can be done digitally in the game too if you dont want to fiddle around with the gimmick. The game itself is an action adventure game where you explore different planets, both on the planet and outer space. You encounter and form alliances with different races which affects the world around you

Even with just the base set, it's a surprisingly fun game. the space ship elements make the regular fetch quests a little easier to handle and the starfox stuff is excellent,

The game is really fun so far! Playing with the ships can be fun, but it is awkward to play with at first when it is on the grip. You get used to it though! Overall the game is super fun!

If you love Star Fox, this game delivers. The gameplay and story are fun, and Fox and his team are more than just a side story, there is a lot of Star Fox content in this game.

I bought the starter kit at a bargain price and so worth it as the Switch version comes with StarFox content as part of the game. The game itself is also very good as good graphics and gameplay.

This game is a blast to play. It is challenging for little kids to play (would recommend 8 y.o. +) The toys are interesting to see how it works but usually sit on the shelf. Fun game.

This game was easy to learn and very fun to play. You can take as much time as needed to learn how to navigate as it’s an open playing where you complete missions rather than playing a timed ‘level’.

I got this for free with the purchase of my Nintendo Switch this Christmas. I think I was supposed to get a 30 dollar gift card but I might have missed that promotion. This game is really interactive. I think it’s really cool how the action figures and characters you place on your remote actually effect how you play the game. I don’t play video games myself but I was watching my daughter play this game for a few hours. It’s cool, makes you read and think and actually pay attention unlike Mario. I’m glad it was free but I probably should consider these game packages next time we are at BB shopping.

Best version of Starlink; Fun, but not amazing.

The Switch version of the game has extra exclusive Starfox content that is done very well and true to that franchise. The game itself is a good spaceship action game with some RPG and open-world elements. The physical starter pack is a little pricey compared to the digital version, but I feel like I paid $10 for the physical Arwing which is reasonable. The figurines and weapons aren't the best looking, so you really have to decide if it's worth it to get the Arwing or not. If not, get the digital version of the game; I'd recommend it for anyone who likes flying around with a spaceship, semi-mindless side quests, and over-the-shoulder shooters.

It's a neat concept. Assemble your ship and scan it into the game for your own customized experience. This Nintendo Switch version of Starlink includes characters from the Star Fox franchise. And yes, it does come with the game inside the box. Everything you need to begin playing is there. It's a pretty long game, and not too difficult. But after a while the levels and objectives might begin to feel repetitive. I enjoyed the graphics and the story. This game is fun for any anyone who likes space and ships. It's a must-have for fans of Star Fox. Don't pass this one up.

Fun little game. For the black Friday price it was a steal and I am having tons of fun with it. You can buy the toys for characters and weapons or you can buy them digitally.

I've had a lot of fun with this game. Pretty good story, easy to learn, satisfying gameplay. Some parts can get a little tedious, depending on whether you enjoy the outer space parts or the on-world parts better. Switching the physical toys in and out is fun. They're tough enough to withstand supervised play by my 4 year old, so that's a plus. You can also advance pretty far in the game without having to buy more of the toys, but you will need them if you want to complete every side mission, and having the right weapons makes some enemies much easier. Also, switching pilots enables different upgrades that also enhance the game, which reduces the amount of grinding you'll have to do considerably.

Thanks to a clearance sale and Best Buy’s Gamers Club bringing this down to around $8, I figured now was the time to get this game. I was tempted to get more just for the Arwings that were included. This thing is cool. And this bundle has dropped even a bit more I’ve noticed. So, maybe I will some time. Oh, and the game itself is pretty fun as well. Some fun action and exploring. I haven’t played much, but I’m looking forward to the rest. I’d rather get the digital DLC when it goes on sale on the Nintendo eShop than the rest of the figures out there, though. Swapping the figures in and out to play this game seems a bit complicated...

The closest to a good StarFox game in far too long

The game isn't going to blow you away, but if you are craving a new Star Fox game because Nintendo doesn't seem to give that franchise any love these days, this is as close as you will get. It isn't an official Star Fox game, but Nintendo allowed them to use the characters. Because of the bonus Star Fox content alone is why I would recommend the Switch version of the game over the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, but if you don't have any kind of nostalgic attachment to the Star Fox characters then you could just as easily enjoy this on one of the other consoles.

The Switch version offers the exclusive ship and adventure that makes it more desirable for Nintendo fans. It is a fun shooting game and you can customize your ship by buying more weapon packs.
