Many people told me they had it because it was a good idea conceptually but they just don't use it and have to pay at least 50 bucks per month for a subscription. I am starting to feel that way as well

The set up was not as easy as made to believe. The cost for the monthly service ends up being $165 a month if you use it regularly. The seamless installation to home, boat, automobile is not the case. Must be outside with no obstructions and at the right angle with the satellites on top of bring plugged in to a 110 outlet. It’s not the easy perfect solution it is made out to be.

Returned the Starlink because I couldn’t get proper signal

I can't get enough performance while the vehicle is in motion; I think it needs to be improved.

Bought this on sale for my camper, i wasnt paying $600 for this, waited for it to go on sale. What they dont tell you until after you buy it. You can pause the service on the 50g a month but not the automatic payments. When its sitting dormant in the camper your still being billed threw automatic payments and no way to stop them. Ended up closing my account and returning the hardware. The one day I had it, it never went over 3g download. No obstructions. Good signal. Don’t believe all the hype

too slow for roam, too many problem to stay connected

I had a lot of expectations about this service. I was planning to use the internet while I was driving. So far the service has not live up to my expectations. The service is on and off, regardless of how I install the antenna on my vehicle. Sadly I can not return it, now I just have a very expensive paper weight worth $529.00.

They dropped the price 200 dollars within a month of purchase and wont price match

Somehow its 2025 and Elon built these things like a 1990’s satellite dish, it can’t go through walls and gets blocked by every obstacle

I’m sure this works great if you are in the desert, but if you are somewhere with ANY trees around, you will not get a signal. It was a complete waste of money for us.

Not user friendly and no live customer support service.

Starlink is far superior to any other service offered in the area where I live. For the past 8 years I have put up with a DSL connection from the local phone company with maximum speed of around 50 mbps. With Starlink I am usually about 200. At present I am t 120 mbps but even that is about twice what I am used to. The app on my iPhone show my speed and allow you to see where the signal obstruction are and any misalignment in your receiver and how many degrees it is off. This an excellent system and is easy to install. I live on the shore of Green Bay so I have a clear unobstructed view of the sky. I did hire someone to install my Starlink as I am 85 yrs young and I did want risk going up on my roof. Installation invovled mounting the unit on the facia at the peak of my roof, running the cable along the roof line to a side wall of the house, and drilling a hole to the inside near an electrical outlet to plug in the router included the kit. I purchased the small kit which is adequate for a 2000 sqft house.
