Quick and easy to set up. The app tells you everthing uou need to know for alignment. Receiving about 140 to 150 mbps download and 20 to 25 Mbps upload. Getting buffer free streaming on movies. I work in the oil field with no cell signal in alot of places, and the Star Link Mini lets me maintain communication with my family

Received this for Christmas from my son. Remarkably easy to setup and acquire a signal...Outstanding! Everything needed in one box, easy to follow directions. Can't wait to get my RV on the road for a full test. Customer service was outstanding when I asked for a price match after this went on sale, saved my son $150!!

I love my Starlink Mini - I use it often in my car when travelling out of state. I am able to use it for phone calls when I am in remote areas that have no cell service

We were in the path of hurricane Melissa and our Internet had been down ever since. The starlink mini has helped us stay connected with the outside world. Setup was a little longer than I expected but not too bad overall.

My daughter has an airstream and loves to camp. My son loaned her an identical starlink unit to try while camping. It is compact, stupid simple and provides you with premium speeds. We gave this one to my daughter for her birthday. She loves it. It will also serve as backup connectivity for hurricanes and other emergencies.

Device works amazing! Use it in and out if town with no problems at all. Love the roam 50 plan that give you 50 gb of data for 50$. Have recommended to a few others after such a great experience.

Bought this for camping and home Internet backup in case the power goes out. We do allot of camping in remote spots and it's nice to have an option to keep in touch in case of an emergency, and to keep the kids entertained. Love that you can pause service for the times we are not out, and don't get billed for the month. It's great that you can run the mini off a battery pack off USB, which is fantastic for our hiking trips if something were to happen. Fits perfectly into my backpack, and really cant tell it's there, not really adding that much weight.

I love how many accessories there are to convert this for use in a vehicle or even to convert to battery powered. I did find the WiFi signal to be a little weak when I was about 30 feet away and inside. Being under tree cover and trying to get clear signal was hard this summer where I was at, but in the end it got the job done when I was in crappy Cellular range. I stradle the fence on Starlink changing the plan options, the $5/mo active connection plan is great for just needing it in a pinch and keeping your subscription active, but also there will be seasons I won't need it, so having to pay to keep the connection active is a bit of a pain just to make sure I can actually use it when I need to. I got mine on sale in May and I see it has come and gone at the $299 price at that cost it definitely was worth it, but at retail I don't think I would have went his option. I would have just gotten a second SIM line on a MVNO with a carrier that has good service in the area I was at all summer as T-Mo was not preferred in the area. I have a second one I am taking with me when I go to Africa next summer, so here is to hoping the plans and use don't change on roaming! I use Starlink exclusively where I stay in Africa, but that is not set to be used to travel. The mini will come in great use when moving about the country I visit each year. My only real complaint is when changing the Network and Password from the default, the default network was still broadcasting, even though it was switched off. I have not used the device in about a month now and so not sure if there was an update that fixed this? Thankfully the quality of use with Starlink is good, but without real competition in this market it will be a while before prices drop significantly in both upfront and monthly.

I travel to Africa often for work and business, The starlink mini has been a life saver. I’m able to have connectivity anywhere even in the most remote areas.

Bought this for two reasons, one to travel with, but to also use when my home internet goes down. So far its working great!!

Very happy so far. Got on sale for 229. Used on dash for a 12 hour trip. worked great. Now use on my camper trailer. Just haven't camped much yet.

The Starlink worked perfectly. Loved that Best Buy had the equipment and accessories. Needed some extra items shipped and Best Buy located the items and had them delivered with zero delays.

Other than some difficulty with initial setup on-line (mostly my issue) the system is simple to operate and effective. Was great on an RV trip and like the ability to put in a suspended status when not in use for a minimal fee.

Works amazing as my mobile wifi system. Use it while out working in extremely remote areas. Super fast and one unit does it all

Pros; choice of pole mount or table tilt mount. Plenty of length DC pwr cable 45ft. 40 to 70 MB/s download speeds. Has 2.4 and 5GHz Wifi and 1GB Ethernet Jack. 20 to 25W DC avg power draw. 30-40W during boot up. iPhone app helps out greatly for alignment for best signal. Mounted on 10ft pole on bumper mount RV use Roam 50Gig Cons: Needs a simple POE single 48V DC cable solution to power unit and get Ethernet delivered into RVs existing router and Ethernet switch threw a single cable. Need a good 12v to 48v DC supply for POE power over Ethernet instead of the 120v AC adapter that is supplied. Your stuck with the phone app to administer the settings. It should have a web GUI over http: to login to the built in router, Suggestion: Make a tripod camera mount adapter to place the starlink higher off the ground, outside in a good sky view open space. Also raise it up off the soil/grass/mud, etc....
