Find a relatively unobstructed spot in your yard, point it up and sort of north, turn it on, connect to the local wifi STARLINK network, you are up for a day or two while you select a monthly Starlink Internet service. Pretty easy. If you want the $5.00/mo 500kb service you have to grab the cheapest available service to start about $70 for one month then convert over after that.

Loving this little device. On my initial test, I got speeds of around 200mbps using the standard mini roam plans. Only thing I wish it had was a built in usb-c so I can use any cable to power it, or at least include a dc to usb-c cable. It works great off a battery bank once you get an appropriate 3rd party cable

Laid on the grass at my son's back yard while we are here for Thanksgiving and working well. He has TV over the air and minimal cell coverage in the country.

Long story short, internet line was cut and was not going to be fixed for a couple of days. I was already researching starlink and decided to pick up the mini. I was able to set this device on my back porch and it covered my whole house with wifi. I also took it on the road with me and it was awesome. I am currently only using this as a backup and if I travel. I absolutely love it and glad I got it

This is something you need! look if you (here on the east coast) have another storm, AT&T outage, or another power outage - you and your family NEED to communicate! This can be a lifesaver during a disaster! To make it even better, Starlink recently bumped their 50 gig a month plan to 100 gig with no change in cost!

works fantastic including while driving so passengers have full internet even when there is no cell service. We have used ours driving up the Alcan where much of the Yukon Territory has no service. It kept everyone happy and if your cell phone can use the internet to call then you also now have cell service. That is a big safety feature when in remote areas.

We tend to camp a lot and it sure came handy. In dead zones it gave us clear internet connection, you just need to have as much of a clear sky as possible. Durable product.

My mini Starlink has exceeded expectations. Took it to the lake and had no problem with service. Would recommend it to friends and family.

I had the Gen2 and this thing is so small and light! the setup as usual is easy and best thing is you can run off a ryobi battery and a inverter so cool.

We purchased this to be able to remote work while camping and traveling. We were impressed with the easy set up. It is nice and compact. Next up we will purchase a hard side case for easy transport.

Having the ability to litteraly receive high speed internet anywhere in North America is mind boggling. This is by far one of the best technology purchases i have made in years. I travel all over the USA for my job and being able to throw a laptop sized satellite receiver into my backpack and pull mid 200’s of speed up and down instantly is incredible. If you are a road warrior, this is a must have device! Great job Elon and the Starlink team! Now lets get going to Mars!

Bought this to use on remote construction sites. For years we have struggled with communications and recording digital data like production rates, daily logs, photos, and critical contract communications. This little thing has solved that issue for $50 / month plus the purchase price. We have since bought 3 more after proving proof of concept and functionality. Worth every penny
