The mini Starlink is great. Purchasing at Best Buy was a big mistake. Return policy is /was unacceptable (two weeks). Their sales tactics were horrible. I hated this purchase experience although I like the Starlink.

Great device for road tripping / camping / emergency backup where you need internet. Place in vehicle where it has a clear shot of the sky. Maintains 100mb / 20mb up while driving under 100 mph. Great for the long stretches of hwy that don’t have cellular. $50 month 50gb. Service can be paused.

We have been able to get connected anywhere! Easy to use and nice to have when you need a connection and hotspot is not working.

I bought a Starlink terminal back in November hoping for high-speed satellite internet in Jamaica. The hardware is sleek, the dish is easy to set up, and the tech behind it is impressive. When it works elsewhere, it’s fantastic. …but here’s the problem: no plans have been available in Jamaica since I bought it. Even with recent satellite launches, the system remains inaccessible, and nearby islands have open slots while Jamaica is still locked. After months of waiting, it feels like having a shiny gadget that does nothing. Customer support can’t override network capacity, and the waitlist offers no clear timeline. For now, the dish just sits there, unused, waiting for Starlink to free up space. ✅ Pros: • Sleek hardware, easy setup • Cutting-edge satellite technology ❌ Cons: • Still unusable in Jamaica after months • No ETA for new activations • Extremely limited availability Bottom line: Starlink is an amazing concept and works where available, but in Jamaica, it’s currently more of a promise than a service. If you buy now, be prepared to wait indefinitely.

I enjoy this - gave me service in a remote place! Use it for working while away and in spaces that are a little off the beaten path!

Easy to setup and worked well. The item that I wish I was aware of was the data usage for a speed test. Use 1.2 Gb just running a couple speed test. Please add information to inform buyers of that.

It’s worth the price we traveled from West Texas to Colorado and we had service the whole trip. Even in the mountains while trying to find our starting point to go hiking.

Oh my we are very happy with our Starlink Mini! It’s so easy to pack up and set up wherever we are camping. Reception is excellent-clear, crisp and fast and so affordable!

the starlink mini works, very easy to setup and get connected. the only hard part for me was navigating through the starlink app, but i was able to get done.
