Starlink provides fast, reliable internet, especially in areas where traditional providers aren’t available. Setup is easy, speeds are consistent, and streaming or working online runs smoothly. The performance makes it worth it especially for rural or remote locations.

Works great and easy to setup. I bought a car window mount and did a cross country trip. Had internet the entire time and even when not pointed the correct direction we would still download fast.

Love my starlink mini use it daily traveling in car. Speeds are fast. Signal is strong and doesn’t drop out much even when driving. Good power consumption. Fairly sturdy too I have slammed it in the door (accidentally) squished it with my car seat (accidentally) it shows the damage but keeps on ticking.

Excellent service in the US and in Europe. Works on land, boat and car everywhere we traveled this summer (US and Greece). Lots of plans to choose from, including a month-to-month option with unlimited downloads at max speed which is about the same price as my Gigabit fiber home network. In Greece I consistently reached 150-200MBps+ downloads and 50-75MBps+ uploads (facing north, with some city obstructions). In the US with less visibility because of trees in the backyard, I consistently achieved 110MBps download and 35MBps upload speeds. Average ping is 14-20ms in Greece and in the US. I let the dish sit outside in rain and dust without issues for weeks. Zero issues downloading 4K movies, streaming movies, playing games online. The antenna is small and fits into the same backpack I use to carry my 16” laptop. I recommend buying a case and cover for the antenna to protect it while traveling by air. Also recommend buying a tripod mount if you want to mount it securely to a balcony railing or keep it off the ground.

It just works like it should, it is quite amazing how reliable things have been. Even when going 80MPH, zero issues. Which means it is not TOO sensitive to the position it is pointed, despite the app showing you how to optimize the position. When we are camping or on road trips, we can still work while going down the hwy and my kids are playing games on their Switch without lag. We tend to get between 120-210Mbps download speeds and 20-24MBps upload in various parts of CA, NV, UT where we tried it. We use the ROAM plan and love that we can pause the service on months we don't need it. When used in either of our cars, I just use a Bluetti battery bank to power it with a USB-C charger cable (not the AC brickit came with). The smaller 204wh unit will last between 4-7hrs of use depending on how many users are connected and the temperature the battery is stored in, if the bluetti is usually in the truck bed and that can surely be reaching over 120F inside which will hurt battery run times. 4hrs would be the lowest amount I have seen on a single charge which means the Starlink Mini isn't too power hungry even in harder environments. I recommend this even if only for emergency use since the plan can be paused. If you work from home, it could be a good backup if your local internet goes down too. Only thing I do not like is that I did not buy it sooner.

This item is worth every penny. We vacation a lot in Mexico, where the reception is often unreliable, and this starlink has been a game changer. The setup process on the app is smooth and easy. I highly recommend this. We have only ever had 1 connectivity issue and it was due to it being a cloudy day where we were. The starlink instructed us on how to orient it in so that it could be resolved. It was as easy as 1 2 3. We use this product to help w our disabled child's communication devices while abroad as well and have had zero issues. It is approved by all of the airports that we travel through as well and fits perfectly in our checked baggage. The box itself that it comes in is very sturdy and had protected the starlink itself during travel and transport. We also like to visit some remote areas in the middle of no where and this starlink powers on like a champ w zero issues.

I should've had this a long time ago. The setup was pretty simple, just connecting to wifi with their app and start the setup process, which was pretty quick and simple. It is completely portable. I took this out with me in the truck and placed it in the sunroof and closed the lid. As I live in a complete no cell zone, the connectivity felt like I still had service even though it was through wifi. Some portions of my route did have lots of trees, so that did effect the signal a bit, but that's typical with satellite. Speeds are pretty consistant around 100megs, may be 90 and 20/30 upload. Truely is low latency. I wish I had this long before when we had a long power outage and hooked this to a battery bank just to have some sort of communication as I live in a no cell area. Nothing bad I can think of about this mini.

The Starlink Mini has worked well. It was easy to set and connected to the satellites quickly. The speeds were between 135-145 upload and 45 download. We also have the Starlink Gen 3 and its upload and download speeds are significantly higher, but the mini is easier to setup and a lot smaller size makes it perfect for taking it on hiking trip. Plus a 25000 portable battery will run the mini while out in the field. The only sad part of our purchase was the Starlink went on sale 17 days later, so it was past the 14 day return/price match policy for Bestbuy. Should have bought it at Home Depot with 30 day policy and we could have saved $70. But highly recommend the Starlink Mini.

    Mini Starlink WiFi system

I’m very impressed with the mini Starlink. I have a fishing camp that has a tin roof. Previously I had an At&T turbo hotspot that was ok but very frustrating with the consistent buffering due to the tin roof. Once we setup the mini starlink as a trial run on our deck we did have some obstruction views but the reception was still good and we were able to stream baseball games and movies. We did have some buffering issues every now and then for 10 seconds but it will come back on. We do need to have it installed and setup and this should eliminate the little buffering we had experienced. However, we purchased the Mini to see if we want to also order the Residential Starlink for our primary residence and I’m so glad that we did. We had the Starlink residential and the mini far about 3 weeks and I’m happy with the purchase.

I purchased this Mini Kit for when I travel in my camper. Needless to say, it has me debating on getting the full kit for my whole home! It was super easy to set up, just plug in and use the StarLink App to get the best service you can. You use your phones camera to scan for obstructions for the best location to put the mini. Then within 5 minutes I was up and ready to go! I have not had a single connection loss, and I have connection to my WiFi in easily half the campground. I have had up to 8 devices connected at the same time with zero issues! Also the power cable is about 50Ft long. So you don’t have to worry about having a plug exactly where you’d like to set it up!

Works well inside and out side the country as long as you have a clear view of the sky signal stays consistent! Very happy with my purchase! Setup is easy takes a couple minutes to update firmware but after the setup it works well while stationary or driving. Was able to still pick up signal while placed on dashboard. So if your car doesnt have a sunroof you shouldnt be affected. Works well even on an old 1st gen tundra with a tiny dashboard. Hopefully in the future the monthly bill could go a little bit lower. But definitely worth it for places that are complete dead zones.

I am not a fan of Elon Musk, but that being said, this Starlink is AMAZING! We have the worst Internet in the world here in north Alabama. Seriously, I don't care what company you use (We've tried them all), it is slow at times and frequesntly drops. NOT THE STARLINK! It is perfectly fast and never drops! I have been utterly shovked, amazed and impressed. I am seriously contemplating getting another. Only issue, you have to locate the mini close to where you plan to work online. It does not offer a great coverage area, You can use extenders, but you must buy a separate adaptor to do so. Aside from that, if you are using the mini in a camper or on the go, you will have nothing but wonderfully quick and steady Internet!

I got this after dealing with issues with cellular hotspot service through Cricket Wireless (over-priced slow speeds with strong signal). With the Starlink Mini I get fast service anywhere I'm at. I drive a Kenworth and mount it to the antenna point using a clamp mount I bought off Amazon. I've been in the middle of no-where Northern Nevada with no cell service and gotten like 300 Mbps download speed. Plus you can make calls over WiFi with your iPhone if you enable that feature in your cellular settings. So there are no dead zones without cell service if you own a Starlink Mini. Sometimes I'm lazy and don't even take it out to mount it and just leave it plugged in running on the top shelf of my truck. It still gets a signal and provides usable internet. Which is impressive being that it's receiving the signal through a sheet of metal (the roof). Only thing I don't like is the cost for the unlimited data plan. However, that being said you don't get throttled and I can see I've used hundreds of GB of data so I'm not going to get too upset about the cost being how generous they're being with the speeds given my high usage. Also I imagine part of the monthly cost is going towards upgrading or maintaining their network and getting more satellites in orbit. The only real problem I have is how it handles Xbox Cloud Gaming. But my solution to that is going to be just getting an Xbox or gaming PC. Something weird happens with the latency and there is a massive input delay between when you do something and when Microsoft's cloud gaming servers accept the input and relay the video. I don't think that is Starlink's problem though, I've informed Microsoft about it a few times. Maybe someone from Starlink will see this review and escalate the issue; that might help. I know companies sometimes read their product reviews on here. Five stars because it eliminated my cellular dead zones (which is important as a trucker in remote places), it gives me high-speed internet anywhere I want, and I can play World of Warcraft retail on it without any latency issues. Oh, and did I mention that there are portable solar charger power banks you can run this off of? I got one that folds up four panels each that are the size of a notepad and fits into my laptop bag. So if I ever don't have a power source and there's sunlight I can just lay it out, plug in my Starlink Mini, and the low power-draw from the Mini means I have 4-5 hours of high-speed internet. If I ever had to I could just charge all my stuff off that and still have high speed internet if for some reason I couldn't access electricity. This product works well for a variety of situations. Not getting it if you can afford to would be a mistake.

Works great, super small and yet powerful. Used for first time where we had no cell signal camping and needed to be in contact with the outside world. Was worried about the range, but it was phenomenal. I was 300’ away at a couple points and still had WiFi connection. I’m sure being mounted on top of my trailer on the ladder helped the range vs just sitting on the ground. Everything about the entire setup is pretty simple, but some will nitpick the finer points based on personal preference and opinions. Bottom line is it works, works extremely well, and can be adapted in many different ways for easy use.

Installation was extremely easy. Installing the app and setting up the starlink satellite and get them in sync went without a hitch! I have experienced non-stop Wi-Fi without interruption and this is set up currently in a very remote location. I'll be getting another one of these for travel. I only use the English version but is exciting to see how anyone from anywhere in the world would have their language for instructions also included.
