I often work in remote areas on microwave, communications towers, and having Internet connectivity to get diagnostic tools is always helpful. Often there is no cell signal, though. With Starlink, I have been able to get remote connections as high as 100 Mb per second, which is plenty for what I need to do. Two accessories I recommend everybody purchase: the first is a USB power adapter, because unless you have 120 V AC available you can’t power the Starlink with what shipped in the kit. Be sure the adapter is specifically designed for the Starlink because it has to fit the proprietary power socket, which is the weatherproof gland. I use the USB thing to power my Starlink from a portable “battery generator”. The second is a sturdy carrying case that has compartments for all the small components, which are easy to lose and impossible to get separately apparently. There are some custom fitted cases, but I just got a generic fiberglass equipment case from a hardware store for 15 bucks.

Works perfectly. Can run off cigarette lighter when need to. Haven’t had any issues connecting to Starlink network.

Incredibly useful to have for road trips, camping, or just a home backup. With the newer low-price plans, this makes for a great emergency tool that can easily run off a battery pack when needed. The reliability and speeds are extremely impressive for the size, too. This is now locked away in my truck at all times.

This Wi-Fi system was super simple to set up and instantly made a noticeable difference in my connection speed. The signal reaches every corner of the house, even areas that used to be dead zones. I purchased this Starlink specifically for camping and I have used it twice — both times I have had excellent internet connection and speed, and was able to run multiple devices without issue. I even streamed a playoff game in HD. This is so awesome!

This device is impressive in several ways. It effortlessly receives signals, and its compact size makes it the perfect companion for road trips, providing internet access and phone communication. Additionally, it serves as an emergency backup in our wildfire and earthquake-prone region. I can easily carry it in a small laptop bag, mount it on my dashboard, or place it in a waterproof case attached to the roof of my van. While these features are incredible, there is a drawback: the device requires external power. To accommodate my various uses, I have added different power options and cables of various lengths and connectors. I understand that not everyone will explore as many possibilities as I have, but the Mini is versatile and can adapt to many different applications. One thing that wasn't great that has nothing to do with the Mini. Best Buy had a promo when I bought it that gave one month of free service after the first thirty days of my subscription. Both Starlink, and Best Buy, haven't been able to come through with that promo.

It really came in clutch when I went to visit my family in mexico! I go to out in the rural area of mexico and not once did it lag! super fast! Plus you have different plans to choose from and i love how if you are not using it you can pause your service.

While traveling outdoors in our camper I needed a solid and reliable connectivity option. Starlink mini is perfect size and provides great speeds in the remotest parts. i have used it sufficiently to be able to safely recommend it.

This is a good little unit other than the extra monthly cost but $50 isn't so bad. I take it camping with me and so far unless I am in thick trees it works quite well. Especially for having cell service. This is probably dependent on location as we seem to have good Starlink here in Oregon. I think users are going to have different experiences based on their location. For me it was worth the risk to try and it is working. Its roughly the size of a note pad and easy to transport. I probably need to look at amazon for a case to store it when not in use.

Let me start out by saying, this is my second Starlink product. I used the original as home internet from 2020 (initial beta tester) until late 2023 when we got fiber to the home. We bought this for travel as we go to remote places with no cell towers and I own a small business. This is easy to set up and get up and running. It fits in a small laptop carrying case for protection when not in use. Speeds vary and have gotten up to 300MBs. I do suggest if you use it sparingly to boot it up and put outside monthly for updates and before you go on the road. It will save you a lot of hassle.

Holy smokes!!! Best invention EVER! I travel all over the country with my Mini Starlink. I have internet in the car, on the boat, and I have recently started using at home for internet! Its perfect. Bought a little back pack for it and Starlink Mini travels everywhere with me! Well worth it! Just do it!

This product is changing lives. The ability to go on the road and connect for work or connect with family while in remote locations is a game changer. Easy set up... follow the directions. It's idiot proof. All you need is open sky. Those that complain can't seem to understand this concept... direct satellite exposure needed. It's not that comllicated.

After installing one of the larger units for my boss at his hunting camp. I was surprised as to the ease and compactness of the mini. I have used it while traveling for work and the speed and ease of use is great. I can have it up in minutes at a remote location or I can mount it to my truck and have internet as I travel. I recommend purchasing several different mounts as once you try it you will take it everywhere. Even mounting it flat to use on my truck while traveling provides great connectivity. I will note it does not have the speed of the larger unit, but if fulfils our needs.
