I heard about this service from a coworker who gave a glowing review of the service and how well it worked in his rural area. After discussing it with my wife, I purchased the kit. She and i installed it, which was actually a fairly easy process! We got it calibrated per the app. After a few missteps in activating it, we got it going and it works GREAT! It is so very fast..I am highly impressed by the speed. My wife is very impressed as she works from home periodically and says today she worked with no delays and was highly productive. Highly recommend this service!! There is a bit of investment with buying the kit and the first payment for service but i think it is worth it.

There are many options for mobile internet connectivity, but there's nothing like Starlink. I enjoy traveling in a motorhome and working while on the go. I was connected with a cellular home internet package, but there were too many times I was out of cell phone converage. As long as you have a clear view of the sky, Starlink works fantastically well. It's easy to connect, guides you to an optimal setup and alignment, and delivers fast speed. The ability to pause your service is a must for me as I'm often working from the office or home. But for those times when I'm traveling, I simply unpause the service and I'm quickly connected again. I would highly recommend it for on-the-go folks or as a primary or secondary connection for the home.

I have a gen 2 Starlink at my residential address and I’m using this gen 3 Starlink for the roof of my motorhome. I have it flat mounted to the roof and even though it is technically not in alignment, I am still pulling speeds of well over 100 mgbs. Purchased for $299 and set up was easy. Works as advertised.

I live in the jungles of Hawaii and this has been the game changer for me. Faster than advertised with residential plan. Plans start at 50$ for 100mbps. I threw this on my roof and didn’t even bolt it down( flat roof) and it stayed put in wind storms. Waterproofing is excellent so far as it’s getting buckets of water thrown at it. Even in the darkest and worst storms my slowest speed was 70-100 mbps. Normal speeds for me on Residential Lite is 80$ and im getting speeds at 250-275 mbps Remember the more data being moved the higher the wattage from dish. Not good for cities because of surcharges and more prioritization. The router is split band so it will talk with 2.4gjhz and 5ghz smart plugs and appliances and has a range of about 150 ft. Set up took about 20-30 min to go time. Ultra easy and plug and play.

We picked this up to keep on hand as a backup internet option for clients, especially helpful after storms or when setting up new office locations. Setup was straightforward, and the no contract model fits perfectly with the kind of short term flexibility we need. It has been reliable in our test runs, and having the extra peace of mind for connectivity makes a big difference. We also got a hard case from Amazon to protect it during transport, which we would definitely recommend if you are moving it around. Great product overall, it does exactly what we need it to do.

So far it’s been great. Was actually very easy to setup with their instructions. Took less than 15 minutes. I just laid it outside to test it & set it up. It is a bit pricey when you add up all the extra equipment, but worth it. I have full signal in places I know there was NO signal. I’d say it’s worth the money- ecspecially for ppl on the go (roam) or campers, vans, ect…

It was easy to set up and not annoying or bulky. The speed is amazing and allows all my devices to be connected at once with no lag. 10/10 recommend!

If you dont have starlink you dont know what your missing in life My only regret is not doing it sooner The best internet and signal we have ever had we will never go back to anything else Was easy to install and never goes down

The hardware included is very simple to fugure out and easy to install. You receive a plentiful amount of wire guides to allow you to direct your wiring however you'd like from the satellite to the router. Any unique mounts based on your roof have to be ordered seperate though so expect to spend more to have a permanent mount if thats the path you'd like to choose. The starlink is also able to defrost in the winter, removing my worry about snow removal at its location. Along with the installation, the speeds have been reliable. Downloads around 350mbps consistently through storms. Upload fluctuating between 45 and 80mbps with a ping regularly between 15 and 19ms. Router range is decent, but not comparable to the higher end routers on market. If you would rather one router without mesh, it would be best to have a secondary router added to the instalation to be used instead, otherwise, you can order mesh extenders from the app after installation.

I got this as a back up to Xfinity cable...there were just too many unplanned maintenance events that cut out my internet. Since I work from home, and don't have great cell coverage, that was a real problem. Bought the Starlink initially as back up, but it has proven to be ultra reliable. I'm getting about 400mps download which seems to be plenty. I have run on starlink for a couple of weeks now to see if I can unplug xfinity, and so far it looks as though I may. Also, the SL wifi modem coverage is terrific. Covers most of our home with ease.

I’m genuinely impressed with this Starlink system. Setup was straightforward, even for someone who’s not super techy. The speeds are fast, everything runs smoothly, and I’ve had zero issues since installing it. It even holds strong during storms, which honestly surprised me. I couldn’t ask for better performance in a rural area. Highly recommend!

Starlink Satellite Internet Review – A Game Changer for Rural Living I live in a pretty rural area where internet options are extremely limited—most traditional satellite services here barely offer 10 Mbps download and less than 1 Mbps upload. Yes, the monthly cost is a bit on the higher side compared to traditional ISPs, but honestly, for the speed and reliability you're getting in an area with virtually no other viable options, it’s worth every penny. Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made. If you live in a remote or underserved area and need fast, reliable internet, Starlink is absolutely worth it.

Love my Starlink system. Was easy to install and works great. Much better internet than the cable company I had previously! Was also great that Best Buy had it in stock for the same price as Starlink which would have been 2-3 week delivery time.

We needed good reliable internet for our Airbnb guests. Our options were Verizon Gateway or Starlink. Initially we tried the Verizon, but found the service to be sporadic where we are located. Fortunately, i was able to return it within the 30 day trial window. It was easy to set up this system, and decided to go with the highest tier plan. I really like the ablility to switch plans through the app when we don't have guests. So far, we have had no complaints with our WiFi, even when numerous devices are connected. The sales associate at Best Buy was very helpful in answering all our questions at the time of purchase. I give this product 2 thumbs up!

Starlink has been incredible. Setup was quick, and the internet speed is fast and reliable—no buffering, no dropouts. Even in bad weather it works great. Absolutely worth the purchase and highly recommended!

Very very good Internet coverage I'm located in a rural area and the signal is very strong and excellent I would recommend this product to anybody who's looking for internet and it is not close to a city

We live in a rural area where getting reliable internet has always been a nightmare. Our only other option, Kinetic Windstream, flat-out refused to hook us up even though our neighbors have it! So, we took the plunge and drove 1.5 hours to pick up Starlink from Best Buy. It’s been the best decision ever. Setup was super quick and stupid simple, just plug everything in, follow the app instructions, and you’re online in minutes. No complicated wiring or tech headaches. Anyone can do it! Setup was easy, and the performance has been phenomenal. We’ve had Starlink for a few months now with zero issues, even during our area’s infamous windstorms and torrential rains. No disconnections, no lag, just fast, consistent internet. We can stream Netflix in HD, use our phones, and do schoolwork on laptops all at the same time without a hiccup. We have two acres, and we can literally stand at the far end of our property and still have solid internet coverage. It’s honestly amazing. Yes, it’s $120/month, but the speed, reliability, and peace of mind are absolutely worth it. If you live in a rural area and are tired of being told “internet isn’t available,” Starlink is the answer.

I'm someone that lives in an area that doesn't get Internet and plays games for a hobby and when I say this is amazing I'm not lying. I was able to play games on 50 ping when my phone hotspot would get 150. The set up is really easy as well it only took me pressing a few buttons and putting it in the right spot for me to be playing the game it only took my half an hour to set up on my own.

I chose the standard over the mini strictly because of the separate router. I've also read the standard gets better reception in bad weather, but haven't tried that out. Used it this weekend for business meetings and streaming while on an RV trip. 350 down and 40 up everytime I tested. Worked perfectly without any glitches at all. My only complaint is the 50GB service is too low in data and unlimited is too high in price. Setup takes awhile each time. Like an hour to fully calculate obstacles and what not and I haven't tried it on the move yet. As much as I hate the owner, the product is a game changer for RV use.
