It’s good. Runs 2 Xbox’s and makes it most the time. Little lag from time to time even with only one on. Maybe I don’t have it in good spot.

New in Box Starlink from BestBuy says “Device Already Acitvated” I checked the box carefully to make sure that it was factory sealed before leaving BestBuy. I’m guessing that Starlink took this as a return and repacked it and sent it out to BestBuy without deactivating it… really Starlink? This sucks.

We live in a very rural area with no other available internet providers. We purchased this kit, and set up was super easy & quick. The internet works great, and the speeds are amazing. My husband can game online while I stream in another room with no issues. Even works on cloudy days or when it’s rainy. Signal reaches as far as my neighbors house on my phone. I highly recommend this to anybody considering, as it has made all the difference. You don’t realize how much you’re missing out on when you don’t have internet.

I’ve personally set up more than one Starlink Standard Kit (AX Tri-Band Wi-Fi System) — one for my parents and another for a friend — and both installs went very smoothly. Setup & Installation Experience In both cases, setup was straightforward and clearly guided through the Starlink app. Even for non-technical users, the instructions were easy to follow, and the hardware paired quickly. Firmware updates ran automatically during setup and did not cause any issues. The app’s guidance on optimal placement was especially helpful. Once everything was powered on, the mesh nodes established a strong connection without any manual tuning. Performance & Reliability After setup, both households saw immediate improvements in Wi-Fi coverage and consistency. Streaming, video calls, and everyday browsing were stable with no noticeable drops. The tri-band design handled multiple devices well, even with several users online at the same time. What stood out most was the consistency across different homes and layouts. Performance was similar in both installations, which gave me confidence in the reliability of the system. Coverage & Real-World Use In each location, the mesh system eliminated dead zones that were present with older routers. Coverage extended reliably to areas that previously struggled with weak signals, which made a noticeable difference for the end users. App & Ongoing Management The Starlink app makes ongoing management simple. It is easy to view connected devices, check basic network status, and perform basic troubleshooting without advanced networking knowledge. Pros Easy setup, even for non-technical users Consistent performance across multiple installations Strong whole-home coverage with mesh Stable connections for streaming and video calls Simple and intuitive app Cons Fewer advanced configuration options than enterprise-grade routers Initial firmware updates add a few minutes to setup Higher upfront cost than basic single-router solutions Bottom Line Based on setting up multiple Starlink systems in different homes, this kit is a strong choice for anyone who wants reliable Wi-Fi, solid coverage, and a straightforward setup experience. It is especially well-suited for households that want dependable performance without managing complex networking settings.

Starlink Standard Kit is easy to setup and it has decent speeds. Great for streaming Netflix and gaming online. If your on the fence about it and its really your only choice if you live far away from any cable or 5g options then go for it its worth it. High speed internet for 120 bucks a month. I play online games like Call of Duty and I'm still competitive rarely any lag. Streams Netflix movies in 4k no problem.

It delivers fast, reliable satellite internet. Speeds are solid for streaming, video calls, gaming, and multiple connected devices at once. Setup is simple using the Starlink app, which also offers helpful tools for monitoring performance and managing devices. Overall performance is impressive for satellite internet. A great option for areas with limited reception.

I’ve been using Starlink for a while now, and honestly, it has completely changed my internet experience. Living in an area where regular providers either don’t reach or offer super slow speeds, I wasn’t expecting much—but Starlink surprised me. The setup was really simple, and within minutes I was online. The speed and reliability are far better than anything else I’ve had here. Video calls don’t drop anymore, streaming is smooth, and even gaming feels responsive. On top of that, I appreciate how the company keeps improving the service with updates.

I’ve been using Starlink for several months now, and it has completely transformed my internet experience. Living in a rural area, my only options before were painfully slow DSL or unreliable satellite services. Starlink changed all of that. The speeds are consistently fast—enough for streaming, gaming, video calls, and even working remotely without a hitch. The setup was surprisingly simple. The app walked me through everything, and I was up and running in under an hour. The hardware feels sturdy and well-designed, and the dish automatically aligns itself, which is super convenient. What impresses me most is the reliability. I no longer worry about weather-related outages or throttled speeds. It’s a bit pricier than traditional options, but the performance more than justifies it. If you’re in an underserved area and desperate for decent internet, Starlink is absolutely worth it. It’s been a total game-changer for me.

The Starlink Standard Kit has been a game-changer for me. Setup was straightforward, and within minutes I had a stable connection even in a remote area where traditional ISPs don’t reach. Speeds are consistently fast for streaming, gaming, and video calls. The AX Tri-Band Wi-Fi system covers my whole house with strong signal, and the reliability has been excellent so far. It’s definitely an investment, but for anyone living in rural or hard-to-reach areas, it’s absolutely worth it.

I live in the jungles of Hawaii and this has been the game changer for me. Faster than advertised with residential plan. Plans start at 50$ for 100mbps. I threw this on my roof and didn’t even bolt it down( flat roof) and it stayed put in wind storms. Waterproofing is excellent so far as it’s getting buckets of water thrown at it. Even in the darkest and worst storms my slowest speed was 70-100 mbps. Normal speeds for me on Residential Lite is 80$ and im getting speeds at 250-275 mbps Remember the more data being moved the higher the wattage from dish. Not good for cities because of surcharges and more prioritization. The router is split band so it will talk with 2.4gjhz and 5ghz smart plugs and appliances and has a range of about 150 ft. Set up took about 20-30 min to go time. Ultra easy and plug and play.

I heard about this service from a coworker who gave a glowing review of the service and how well it worked in his rural area. After discussing it with my wife, I purchased the kit. She and i installed it, which was actually a fairly easy process! We got it calibrated per the app. After a few missteps in activating it, we got it going and it works GREAT! It is so very fast..I am highly impressed by the speed. My wife is very impressed as she works from home periodically and says today she worked with no delays and was highly productive. Highly recommend this service!! There is a bit of investment with buying the kit and the first payment for service but i think it is worth it.

I’ve been using Starlink for a few months now, and it has completely transformed my internet experience, especially living in a rural area. The speeds are consistently fast, even during peak times, allowing me to stream, work, and game without any hiccups. Setup was incredibly simple. The included app walks you through the process, and once the dish is in place, it quickly connects to the satellite network. Within minutes, I had blazing-fast internet speeds, something I never thought possible where I live. What I love most is its reliability. Despite the weather—whether it’s raining, snowing, or clear skies—Starlink has proven to be resilient and dependable. I no longer worry about outages or dropped connections like I did with my previous ISP. If you're in a remote area and struggling with traditional internet providers, Starlink is the perfect solution. It's a game-changer and worth every penny. Highly recommended!

There are many options for mobile internet connectivity, but there's nothing like Starlink. I enjoy traveling in a motorhome and working while on the go. I was connected with a cellular home internet package, but there were too many times I was out of cell phone converage. As long as you have a clear view of the sky, Starlink works fantastically well. It's easy to connect, guides you to an optimal setup and alignment, and delivers fast speed. The ability to pause your service is a must for me as I'm often working from the office or home. But for those times when I'm traveling, I simply unpause the service and I'm quickly connected again. I would highly recommend it for on-the-go folks or as a primary or secondary connection for the home.

I got this as a back up to Xfinity cable...there were just too many unplanned maintenance events that cut out my internet. Since I work from home, and don't have great cell coverage, that was a real problem. Bought the Starlink initially as back up, but it has proven to be ultra reliable. I'm getting about 400mps download which seems to be plenty. I have run on starlink for a couple of weeks now to see if I can unplug xfinity, and so far it looks as though I may. Also, the SL wifi modem coverage is terrific. Covers most of our home with ease.

I have a gen 2 Starlink at my residential address and I’m using this gen 3 Starlink for the roof of my motorhome. I have it flat mounted to the roof and even though it is technically not in alignment, I am still pulling speeds of well over 100 mgbs. Purchased for $299 and set up was easy. Works as advertised.
