I really don’t know how to rate this item my experience with Starlink kit has been a nightmare. After buy the kit I can not purchase a service plan because the service plan has been sold out in my region. If I was told by Best Buy after buying the expensive standard kit I would not be able to purchase residential or roam plan due to service being sold out in my region.

StarLink may be the future to provide internet to rural areas but to obtain competitive results you must have a clear view of the entire sky. Before purchasing, I would download the StarLink app ( by Space X) and perform a survey to ensure full signal strength.

Tge guy came out and hooked up everything. He did a great job. And The syk link is working fast. Yeaaaaa

Very happy with StarLink purchase from Best Buy. Sales staff provided excellent service and information about the StarLink product and tips for setup.

Your salesman told me a Geek Squad member would come do a survey to see if Best Buy could install the equipment. He came and said no problem. Then we waited 2 weeks with no word. I went to the store to see what the issue was, only to be told your Geek Squad wouldn’t install it. I found an installer. It cost me $500. Get your act together Best Buy

takes 15 min to boot up after powering on. Would be really happy if you could power this off DC. There's a way to do that with voltage converters, so I will try. Otherwise consumes kind of a lot of power. 50-100 watts and will drain a 1kwh ecoflow in 5-6 hrs since you need to plug in AC
