Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Standard Kit AX Tri Band Wi-Fi System, particularly its internet speed and overall performance. Many users found the system easy to set up and use, and they also praised its strong signal strength and excellent reception. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the price and the lack of customer service. While a few users reported minimal buffering, the positive aspects of the system appear to outweigh the negative ones.

Purchased the kit 1 yr ago with a 4 yr warranty. The unit began to have problems and starlink wanted to send me a refurbished replacement. I went to bestbuy instead and they immediately replaced my purchase with a brand new unit. It works great. I live in an area that for 5 yrs i could only get up to 25 mbts ( sometimes), now i get a consitant 250 mbts ( low end ) to close to 400 mbts. Very pleased with bestbuy and the product.

I was skeptical at first, so I delayed this review. I'm very impressed with this system. it's like the fiberoptic of satellite internet. if you live in an area that doesn't offer cable or fiberoptic internet. this would be the best choice for fast reliable internet in rule areas. The initial cost is expansive so, I recommend you budget for the purchase and the monthly charge before you buy. So far, the monthly charge has been the same $120.00. set up is easy. just follow the instructions

Had the t-mobile home internet box the last season. Was spotty at times. This starlink was game changer in our 3rd seasonal year this year of camping. No complaints of dropped signal. Easy install and setup.

Pretty much plug and play. This is a great way to get pretty reliable internet in remote locations. I personally purchased this to replace comcast internet. I found their customer service to be terrible and do not want to support that company any longer. The Starlink speeds are acceptable of course no where near as fast as comcast but It works just fine just not up to par with Comcast bandwidth. I don’t really notice any difference until I’m downloading games on the computer of course it’s not as fast. The monthly pricing could use a reduction for the network throughput but for its flexibility i guess the 120 a month may be justifiable.

We needed a backup for our radio broadcast and someone recommended Starlink. It was a very crowded event and I was pleased we only had one major drop out. Easy to set up with our generator and on site.

This works great for people off the grid that need internet service. We fought for 7 years trying to get decent internet speeds suffering with speeds of 10 mbps or less. Wife worked from home, kids doing school from home, and trying to stream tv with less than par internet. This give us the ability to feel reconnected to the world again. Plans are little pricy but worth the money for the reliability and connectivity. Did not lose signal in the rain unless it was extremely heavy. Self heating typically would dry the antenna quickly and signal come back.

This is a life changer. No matter what satellite service we pirchased we could not get stable service on even just one device, until Statlink. Now the whole house is connected. We don't have to worry aboutbuffering or rubber banding of service. No more waiting foe a family member to finish what they were doing on a gamimg system or computer to stream a show, everyone can be connected at the same time. Set up was so easy and we did it all ourselves. No need to wait weeks for a technician to come out sometime between 8 & 5 only to get rescheduled for another day. We bought it and installed it same day.

My experience has been great right out of the box. My internet speed is fantastic compared to the speeds I had before. 290 down vs 6 down. Pretty simple setup and running. i was paying $80 a month; now $120. Worth it.

I was concerned initially with the cost of the hardware but service is not great where I live so I took a chance on it making a few concessions. That being said, this is far better than most providers of a dish out. Using your smartphone for best setup is great. It does have a little drag in harsher weather but that's normal. But streaming movies, games, and any other media is almost seamless. I'm in upper east Texas on farmland and this thing is awesome! I'd recommend this to anyone!¡!!

I live in Ruidoso NM and in June 17th 2024 a huge wildfire came through our town. We have had Windstram and TDS (only 2 options) as our internet for the 25 years we have lived here. When after a week we were allowed back to our town and houses TDS said they may not have their internet back up for 8 weeks as their HUB had burnt. Well this day and age we could not be without phone/internet for 8 weeks. So we bought Starlink on our way home. We got it in 2 days (AWESOME!!!) and installed it. Installation was super easy and have not regretted it one bit. Highly reccomend to anyone!!! Our whole town is converting. With paying 100 bucks a month for a land line and "100mbps speed" (never saw it above 45) which anytime it was to windy, sunny, cold or cloudy we would constantly have outages. With Starling no buffering lagging and we were getting 200 mbps with 3 smart Tv's, and 7 phones all streaming with no problem. Which I had switched years ago. Would highly reccomend.

Starlink has been absolutely amazing! We live in a rural part part of AZ and internet options are limited. The provider we had was a very slow connection and would drop connection in any storm. When it was working you could only stream 2 tvs at most. Since we installed starlink, we have never had a dropped connection, super fast speeds and no problem stresming 5 tvs plus phones, tablets, computers and whatever else in on it. Installation was super easy and only took about 1hr. We are currently looking to install one on our rv. Definitely would recommend!!!!!

I live in a rural area with really only one choice for an ISP outside of the garbage satellite internet providers like HughesNet(also, no cell signal at my home). I was worried how well this would work but it was easy to set up and has been faster than anything available in my area. I was worried we might have trees in the way but we had zero issues. The thing that took the longest was decided which way to run the cable to minimize the amount of holes we had to make to get the cable inside. Just had 6 inches of snow and roughly an inch of ice covering the receiver and we didn't notice any difference.

It was easy to install and if you have a clear view to the northern sky, it should work really well. My regular cable internet feed is more reliable, buffers less, and is less expensive. Unfortunately, a hurricane has taken them out of service for now and we needed internet so we purchased a Starlink. I wouldn't have purchased this unless I didn't have other options.
