Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Standard Kit AX Tri Band Wi-Fi System, particularly its internet speed and overall performance. Many users found the system easy to set up and use, and they also praised its strong signal strength and excellent reception. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the price and the lack of customer service. While a few users reported minimal buffering, the positive aspects of the system appear to outweigh the negative ones.

Massive improvement over local internet options

Installed this up at our cabin because the local ISP offers really slow internet (5-25mbps, and unguaranteed up to 50mbps for more money) which won't work for our needs (see: work). Home internet options from the carriers (T-Mobile and Verizon) aren't available in that area, so Starlink was the only viable option. The speed range has been really strong so far. We get anywhere from 90up/10down to almost 400down/40up (with a nearly fully unobstructed view). The only negatives is that the startup cost is more than a traditional ISP, and you have to do your own installation. Depending on where you are the installation may or may not be challenging. Our is up about 40 feet on our roofline. Then we had to go back up because Starlink says to have it facing North, but they define north differently than a compass does. So when you're done doing the installation, power up the system, you'll likely be told that you're misaligned and have to reposition the system. You've got to pay for the Starlink system. Then in our case, we have this setup with an Eero mesh network to have full coverage around the house/property, so that added even more money to the total cost (which to be fair, the mesh network would have been a cost regardless of the provider). Plus...does the company's owner need more money? Outside of all that though, we're more than satisfied with the performance thus far about 2 months into using the network...especially compared to the alternatives.

We travel in an RV and always have a problem with internet. THIS IS THE ANSWER! For $150 per month we can break down this internet in 5 min and set it back up ANYWHERE in the US. Watched some YouTube videos. ethernet cord pulls out with a little tug. Has 2 LAN connections on router for VPN and another LAN. Set up takes 5 min. If you have an RV and want internet, this is the way to go! Download the Starlink app before hand, scan the sky (no different than satellite TV, clear view of sky. Has snow melting feature! We love it! Daughter and I game online and stream while wife streams all day. Speeds of up to 200Mbs down and 15 up. We gave up satellite TV and no longer look for an RV park with decent internet. You can do the $120 per month option but can move it around the country. Global has different price. If you can, go with Gen3 (the flat dish with small folding arm). It can be set up using battery with additional hardware. We have dish on tip of camper (secured), Cat7 cable goes in thru slide to router. Plug from wall goes to power supply, power supply goes to router. See everything on your phone, alignment, speed test, obstructions and statistics. You can pause billing so when we go home we just pause it until we go back on the road! YouTube videos were a big help! Watch them before you buy.

After Helene hit us in WNC I said I would find a way to have better more dependable means of communication. This is a game changer. I was paying a large company the same amount and never had dependable service no matter what the weather was. We hooked up everything ourselves. Make sure you know where you are going to put it and what you will need (mounting pole or bracket)

Way better than the other guys. I finally bit the bullet and got this system, and I'm very pleased with it. It was easy to install myself and is working everything just fine. Browsing, streaming, and gaming on it with no issues so far. The monthly subscription is a little pricey, but it doesn't throttle down during peaking hours, and it's unlimited data.

Bought it for camping. Great build quality and easy setup. 1 rugged wire from outside antenna to router inside that easily fits between walls of slide out. Getting decent downlink speeds that support a 4k TV and phones easily. Highly recommend it for that type of use

It delivers fast, reliable satellite internet. Speeds are solid for streaming, video calls, gaming, and multiple connected devices at once. Setup is simple using the Starlink app, which also offers helpful tools for monitoring performance and managing devices. Overall performance is impressive for satellite internet. A great option for areas with limited reception.

I live in a very rural area with very few options for internet. Star link is the absolute very best internet I’ve ever had. No cable options so streaming is my only choice , with Star link, I have 4 tv’s and several phones with absolutely no lag in anything that’s hooked up. Very easy to set up.

I could not be happier with the Starlink Standard kit. It was easy to setup, connect and get consistent Internet service in a less than desirable location. It by far outperformed all the other products I have tried in the past.....it is a camping must have!

Frontier was cutting us off, suggested Hughes Net, had them before, and they sucked. After doing research, reading reviews, Starlink is the best option. Easy setup, great speeds, was on sale till October 5th. Couldn't go wrong. Love it. Would definitely recommend.

Starlink Standard Kit is easy to setup and it has decent speeds. Great for streaming Netflix and gaming online. If your on the fence about it and its really your only choice if you live far away from any cable or 5g options then go for it its worth it. High speed internet for 120 bucks a month. I play online games like Call of Duty and I'm still competitive rarely any lag. Streams Netflix movies in 4k no problem.
