Scroll wheel breaks after a few months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are generally great mice, but SteelSeries seems to have a particular problem with their scroll wheel encoders, causing their scroll wheels to become less and less usable within a few months of normal usage. The wheel will start scrolling the other direction every few clicks (like if you scroll down ten notches, it’ll randomly jump back up 2 or 3 notches) and it makes both work and gaming very difficult on these mice. At first I thought it was just my particular unit, but after it happened to both my SteelSeries mice (this one and a Rival 3 Wireless), I found numerous other user reports about this happening across many of their models: https://old.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/zyh8c5/aerox_3_mouses_scroll_wheel_is_acting_up_any/ https://old.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/18rqxr5/aerox_scroll_wheel_issues/ https://old.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/13wdz5t/steelseries_aerox_mouse_scroll_wheel_scrolling_up/ https://old.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/zhnbwp/scroll_wheel_issue_on_mice/ https://old.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/1jeyx56/aerox_9_replacement_scroll_wheel_issues/ And here’s a person who fixed the problem only by swapping out the encoder hardware: https://old.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/1jde821/fixing_aerox_9_scroll_jumping/ Their RMA/repair process is terrible (requiring you to physically destroy the mouse by ripping off its buttons, creating e-waste in the process). Although I love their mice otherwise, this is a big deal IMHO because the mice are basically unusable after a few months :( I hope they will use better parts in their future revisions. It's otherwise a great mouse.

Wonderful Wireless Gaming Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the AROX 3 Wireless for a year now, and it’s honestly one of the best gaming mice I’ve ever owned. It’s incredibly lightweight (just 68 grams), which makes every flick and rapid movement feel effortless and precise. The honeycomb design isn’t just for show—it keeps the weight down without sacrificing a sturdy, premium feel. Plus the customizability through the SteelSeries GG software is awsome. I can easily tailor the DPI settings, reassign buttons, and tweak the vibrant RGB lighting to suit my style and gameplay along with a FPS trainer and slight aim assist. Overall great mouse.

Great option
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mouse. I got it to pair with my MacBook Pro as well as my PC and an option for at work. I needed a mouse which was able to utilize bluetooth so I wouldn't need to dongle my laptop or worry about it at work. It actually works great for going between my laptop and gaming PC. The laptop I can use the bluetooth. For gaming I keep the dongle attached to the PC and just hit the switch to change back and fourth between the two. Works within a couple seconds. Very light mouse and comfortable. I am coming from an old Rival 300 which I wore the rubber out with my thumb and pinky over the last 6 years. Of note with this mouse is that when using bluetooth you have very limited customization options, basically only pointer speed, no RGB or other fine tune control options, not even custom buttons. However you do get all these options with the other wireless mode using the dongle. Responsiveness seems fine with the Bluetooth, but I use the dongle for when I'm gaming for the faster response time. Also this mouse is insanely light and has a great auto off/on feature so you don't need to worry about ever turning it off or always needing to flip a switch to use it again.

Best wireless mouse for your buckb

Great buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a replacement for my old mouse that had suddenly stopped working and it’s been great. It’s very light and glides smoothly while using it. It’s a bit on the expensive side but it’s got a long battery life wafted charging and had lasted me a long time.

Steelseries mouse is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the mouse. The steel series software is nice. The mouse fits in my hand and is comfortable, I have small hand so to find a gaming mouse that fits in my hand is hard to find. The mouse is also very lightweight. 5 stars

Disappointing experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Aerox 3 wireless mouse from Best Buy a year ago, and unfortunately, my experience with this product has been far from satisfactory. Despite the positive reviews it received, I found it to be underwhelming compared to other mice I've used, including a budget-friendly $20 wireless mouse. One of the major drawbacks of the Aerox 3 mouse is its battery life. While it initially claimed to offer 80 hours of usage on the 2.4GHz connection, this deteriorated rapidly over time. After just a year of usage, the mouse barely lasts an hour on a single charge. This significant decline in battery performance is highly disappointing and inconvenient. Another issue I encountered was the mouse's connectivity over the 2.4GHz frequency. Frequently and unexpectedly, the mouse would lose connection to the transmitter, even when it was positioned less than a foot away. This inconsistency in connection stability caused frustration and interrupted my work and gaming experience. Furthermore, the mouse's wired mode proved to be equally problematic. When attempting to connect it via the wire, the mouse failed to recognize the wired connection, rendering it completely unusable. Comparing the longevity of the Aerox 3 to other mice in a similar price range, I was disappointed to find that this mouse lasted only one year, whereas other mice have reliably served me for 3-5 years. This lack of durability is concerning and does not align with the quality I expect from a reputable brand like SteelSeries. Considering the numerous issues I encountered with the Aerox 3 wireless mouse, I will not be purchasing another SteelSeries mouse in the future. I expected better performance, longevity, and overall usability from a mouse in this price range, and unfortunately, the Aerox 3 failed to meet those expectations.

SuperDeadSeries Aerox 3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have read the reviews before purchasing this mouse. You'd think that for almost $100 it would at least last more than a few months. After about 6 months the cursor would start flickering on and off. After about a year, I was only able to use it with a dongle as bluetooth had...died? After three, very difficult years, it is finally officially dead. I tried the warranty after 8 months of struggling, but I dealt with customer service for too long and they kept changing people to help so I gave up. Please don't waste your money like I did -- but hey, at least it's light.
