The headset sounds good but the cables are horrible. The USB cable with the mixer is extremely long, if you have a very large desk you would probably be okay and have some a little extra length. The cable that connects the headset to the mixer is good in length but it tangles extremely easily. Also the there shouldn't be a proprietary connector. It's not worth it if the price gets higher than $70. If you are only using the 3.5mm jack, you use the little cable that plugs into the headset cable. On my Xbox controller it works well, but the RGB lights don't work with it which is fine and understandable. If you are only using it this way you'd be better off getting something cheaper, but it's good for using with an Xbox Controller.

Great sound quality for a reasonably priced set of gaming headphones. Slightly bulkier than the pro, but nice sound

The very best headset I have ever owned in the last 20 years. This thing lasted about 4 years before the wires have started coming out near where I plug into the USB when plug and unplug for use. I think it can last a lot longer for someone who keeps it plugged in behind their pc and hangs up their headset after each use. Ofc these people with broken Headsets on this rating are probably throwing the headset and misusing it while they are gaming.

Never have I experienced the excellent quality, as I now have with this product. Get them!

A very good headset with decent functionality and sound. We got these on sale. The LED lighting is pretty neat.

So the sound quality with this one is ok and the headset is very comfortable. The major issue I have with this and Steelseries is their proprietary cord. My dog got ahold of the cord in the first few months of owning this and now cannot use this headset. The site never ever ever has the proper one in stock. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING. Don't buy this headset if you have any reason a cord might get chewed, break, etc.

I enjoyed the headphones at first, they were comfortable, the sound quality was great and I loved getting to change the colors. Then the mic started giving some feedback during game chats - I could fix this by unplugging and plugging it back in. Now it straight up wont connect at all to my computer. I tried contacting Steel Series, but received zero response.

The rgb is great and the build quality is great, but you can't adjust the size of the headphones which made it really uncomfortable for me to wear, I also couldn't wear them for 5 minutes without my ears hurting because of the ear pads.

Compared to other headsets in this price range this headset by far has poor sound quality my 80 dollar Turtle Beaches put out much deeper and rich sounds. The construction of the headset is nice and does not feel cheap and looks amazing but the sound quality is poor.

Lots of plastic that can break from an accidental drop. I had a pair break at the pivot and the head hoop. They don't offer any parts to service this. $100, bye-bye.

I bought this product and used it for one day. Woke up went to school like I usually do, I came home from school played for about 2 hours with the headset and one of the headphones went out. Would not recommend buying. ON THE FIRST DAY!!
